축소형 초고속 자기부상철도 개발에 관한 연구 (The Study on Development for Small-scale Super-speed Maglev Train)

  • This paper presents the overall measurement system for on-line test of super-speed maglev train. The super-speed maglev train is composed of vehicle, propulsion, power, and so on. In order to evaluate and diagnose for sub-system, we made overall measurement system. Just like the other measurement system, it is designed to distributed type. The hardware is consist of SCXI, PXI, Terminal, UPS, and so forth. It is installed on a train, control room, power room and track to collect lots of signals. The software controls hardware system, monitors main data such as inverter current, converter voltage. Using the measurement system, we evaluated a lot of performances for vehicle, track, and so forth. Through the developed system have improved reliability and safety for super-speed maglev train.

  • A purpose of this study measure the acceleration of operating KTX high speed train to find out something wrong to obtain reliable the acceleration measurement data. The existing measurement system come about a difference between measurement data of running off the track with the acceleration measurement data of operating KTX high speed train. Therefore, the measurement system needs make up for the weak points in the current system. This study analyze existing measurement system and the acceleration measurement data to introduce the synchronization of the existing measurement system and the acceleration measurement and will be reasonable to this sampling through field test.

  • This study examined the overall measurement system for the power dispersed high speed railway with 400km/h of maximum test speed. The measuring system evaluating an efficiency, stability and reliability is important for developing the high speed railway. In order to organize the comprehensive measuring system, it is needed to determined the test item, a number of channel and the specifications of the measurement system. In this study, we made lists for the performance evaluation tests of the next generation high speed railway expected to be developed in the future, and prepared generalization channel sheets for the specification of the overall measurement system. In addition, the specifications for the measuring system were discussed and synthesized.

  • In this paper, we introduce the software and hardware of the measurement system for on-line testing and evaluation of high speed railway. The test items focus on the verification of the performance and acquirement of the technical data of the high speed railway system. The software controls the hardware of the measurement system, perform the analysis and calculation of measurement data and acts as interface between users and the system hardware. For this purpose, three programs a measuring program, a monitoring program and post-processing program are developed. The detailed test scenario is in the process of development to closely follow the process of development and design of the system.

실린더 헤드 스월 측정 및 자동화 방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on Measurement and Automation Method of Cylinder Head Swirl)

  • The swirl ratio of a charge in the cylinder was estimated by calculating the ratio of the rotary speed of charge which could be simulated from the rotary speed of paddle in the swirl measurement apparatus, to the engine speed which could be calculated by measuring intake air flow rate. The automation of the swirl ratio measurement for cylinder head was achieved by controling both valve lift in cylinder head and a suction pressure of surge tank using two step-motors. The number of measurement position for calculating mean swirl ratio was varied by adjusting the interval of valve lift. The mean swirl ratio with varying the number of measurement position showed nearly constant value. Two measurement methods for measuring the swirl ratio were compared, one was to control the suction pressure of the surge tank with PID (proportional, integral, differential) mode with by-pass valve controlled by the step motor and the other did not control the surge tank pressure by fixing the by-pass valve. The difference of the mean swirl ratio between the two measurement methods showed nearly constant value with varying the number of measurement position. This means that the w/o PID control method could be preferred to the PID control method which has been used, due to the simpleness of the swirl measurement.

  • A source meter is a basic instrument to perform a measurement of DC characteristic of semiconductor devices. the source meter can be used as variable voltage source, variable current source, voltage meter, or current meter. The accuracy of the low current measurement can be improved with the compensation of leakage current and charge and discharge current. In the low current measurement, the RC time constant is extremely big, so the measurement speed is very low. In this thesis, the analysis of the behavior of the measurement current according to the RC time constant and output capacitance and the method to accelerate the measurement speed.

A High-speed Digital Laser Grating Projection System for the Measurement of 3-dimensional Shapes

  • In the non-contact 3-dimensional (3D) shape measurements, the fringe pattern projection method based on the phase-shifting technique has been considered very effective for its high speed and accuracy. The digital fringe projector in particular has great flexibility in generating fringe patterns since the patterns can be controlled easily by the computer program. In this work, we have developed a high-speed digital laser grating projection system using a laser diode and a polygon mirror, and evaluated its performance. It has been demonstrated that all the optical measurements required to find out the profile of a 3D object could be carried out within 31 ms, which confirmed the validity of our 3D measurement system. The result implies the more important fact that the speed in 3D measurement can be enhanced remarkably since, in our novel system, there is no device like a LCD or DMD whose response time limits the measurement speed.

  • This paper is focused on a simplified measurement of rail irregularity by some axle-box accelerometers for high-speed rail condition monitoring with in-service high-speed trains. Generally, the rail condition monitoring has been done by a special railway inspection vehicle with a 10m versine method. But, the monitoring method needs some expensive measurement system, and have been performed only at night due to its speed limit. In this research, a simplified measurement of rail irregularity using axle-box accelerometers is proposed to monitor the rail condition with in-service high-speed trains. The acceleration is measured by using two accelerometers on a axle-box, and stored in an on-board data acquisition system. The displacement is estimated from the acceleration data by a combination of Kalman filter and the frequency selective filter. The estimated results are compared with the measurement from a laser rail inspection system which is near the axle-box. From the comparison, the proposed method shows promise as a tool for the simplified measurement of rail irregularity at high-speed.

고속 스핀들의 변위측정 시스템 개발 (Development of a Measurement System for High-Speed Spindle Displacement)

  • At present many research projects on high-speed spindles are being conducted. These projects require a measurement technique which includes heat expansion, vibration and displacement measurement according to angular velocity. This paper presents the development of a measurement system for high-speed spindle displacement. The measurement system is based on $LabView^{(R)}$ and features the following sensors: optical sensor which reacts to the position of a marker on the spindle and enables two Laser Displacement Sensors(LDS). These Laser Displacement Sensors send their data to a DAQ(Data Acquisition Device). It is important that the delay time caused by the response times of the sensors as well as the sampling rate of the DAQ is considered because the spindle revolves at very high speeds.
