시설원예단지와 논습지의 조류서식 및 다양성 비교분석 연구 (The Comparative Studies on the Avian Diversity in Protected Horticulture Complex and Paddy Wetland)

  • We examined the impact of paddy wetland's avian-diversity on the development of the protected horticulture complex. The results of this study were made to propose ecological protected horticulture complex and development direction suitable for avian habitat. The total number of species surveyed was analyzed as 1168 individuals in 11 orders 26 families and 36 generic 48 species. Type average was analyzed as paddy $17.25{\pm}4.83$ species and $74.50{\pm}38.08$ individuals, glass $10.00{\pm}0.82$ species and $46.75{\pm}2.06$ individuals, single $13.75{\pm}7.27$ species and $59.50{\pm}35.34$ individuals, multi $8.75{\pm}0.96$ species and $36.75{\pm}9.29$ individuals. Paddy showed higher species diversity than protected horticulture complex. The average number of species surveyed for one year was glass $14{\pm}2.83$, multi $12{\pm}1.41$, single $18{\pm}11.31$, and paddy $26{\pm}11.31$. The diversity difference was identified as paddy> single> glass and multi. Statistical analysis showed statistical difference of Ciconiiformes. Development of protected horticulture complex causes loss of avian habitat. The diversity index was glass $1.73{\pm}0.07$, multi $1.68{\pm}0.14$, single $1.91{\pm}0.47$, and paddy $2.29{\pm}0.17$. Paddy has a higher species diversity than the protected horticulture complex. For the purpose of ecological protected horticulture complex, detention ponds, artificial wetlands and habitats should be reflected in the design. This should be applied to reclamation areas or large-scale protected horticulture complexes.

Re-identification of Colletotrichum acutatum Species Complex in Korea and Their Host Plants

  • Colletotrichum acutatum species complex is one of the most important groups in the genus Colletotrichum with a high species diversity and a wide range of host plants. C. acutatum and related species have been collected from different plants and locations in Korea and deposited into the Korean Agricultural Culture Collection (KACC), National Institute of Agricultural Sciences since the 1990s. These fungal isolates were previously identified based mainly on morphological characteristics, and a limitation of molecular data was provided. To confirm the identification of species, 64 C. acutatum species complex isolates in KACC were used in this study for DNA sequence analyses of six loci: nuclear ribosomal internal transcribed spacers (ITS), betatubulin 2 (TUB2), histone-3 (HIS3), glyceraldehyde3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH), chitin synthase 1 (CHS-1), and actin (ACT). The molecular analysis revealed that they were identified in six different species of C. fioriniae (24 isolates), C. nymphaeae (21 isolates), C. scovillei (12 isolates), C. chrysanthemi (three isolates), C. lupini (two isolates), and C. godetiae (one isolate), and a novel species candidate. We compared the hosts of KACC isolates with "The List of Plant Diseases in Korea", previous reports in Korea and global reports and found that 23 combinations between hosts and pathogens could be newly reported in Korea after pathogenicity tests, and 12 of these have not been recorded in the world.

  • The Purpose of this study was to obtain data about management of the landscape plants and facility in APT. complex. Because of be completed 2 years ago, landscape plants ware damaged by transplantation and lost the nature tree shape. As well, the management conditions of plants and facility were wholly bad. In details, tree-species consisted of 52 species arbors and 35 species shrubs in APT. complex. The high rank 5 species were planted as main plants. The rates were 45.6-62.8% in arbors and 81.8-97.0% in shrubs. In the degree of tree shape and damage by diseuse and pest, the bad level of 1-2points were ranked highly as 13.9% and 10.4%. In the degree of tree shape and damage by disease and pest, the bad level of 1-2points were showed as 5.1% and 4.7%. In the interview Survey, the main problems of management-maintenance were expressed deficiency of budget, specialist and concern of residents. In the future, methods for the intensive management of APT. complex; First, the management of landscape plants and facility should be attained by a expert and need to establishment of maintenance scheme thoroughly. Above all, for improvement of residential life, we should be lead to convert of a resident recognition in the management -maintenance of exterior space.

콩 시들음병에 관여하는 Fusarium균의 다양성 및 병원학적 특성 (Diversity and Pathogenic Characteristics of Fusarium Species isolated from Wilted Soybeans in Korea)

  • 2014년부터 2016년까지 국내 콩 재배 포장에서 시들음 증상을 보이는 시료에서 진균을 분리한 결과, Fusarium spp., Colletotrichum spp., Rhizoctonia spp., Macrophomina sp., Phytophthora spp., Calonectria ilicicola가 분리되었고, Fusarium균이 79.1%로 가장 많이 분리되었다. 53개의 Fusarium균을 균학적 특성에 의해 동정한 결과, F. solani, F. oxysporum, F. graminearum, F. fujikuroi 등 4개의 종 복합체(species complex)로 동정되었다. 염기서열분석을 통한 종 동정을 위해 translation elongation factor 1 alpha (TEF) 유전자 부위를 계통분석한 결과, F. solani, F. oxysporum, F. commune, F. asiaticum, F. fujikuroi 등 5종으로 확인되었다. 44개 Fusarium균주의 병원성을 확인하기 위하여 콩 3개 품종을 대상으로 유묘 침지 접종한 결과, F. asiaticum은 병원성이 없거나 미미한 것으로 나타났다. 병원성이 있는 10개 균주를 선발하여 기주범위를 조사한 결과, F. solani, F. oxysporum, F. commune은 콩에만 병원성이 있었고, F. fujikuroi는 콩, 강낭콩, 황동부콩, 흑동부콩 및 팥에 병원성을 보였다. 또한 13개 콩 품종을 대상으로 저항성 검정을 수행한 결과, F. commune과 F. fujikuroi는 모든 품종에 병을 일으켰다. 장기콩, 풍산나물콩, 소청자콩은 Fusarium에 의한 시들음병에 비교적 저항성이 것으로 나타났고, 황금올콩, 참올콩은 감수성 품종으로 확인되었다.

  • Five species of the genus Pythium were identified from 91 isolates which were collected from rice seedlings in machine transplanting nursery boxes and paddy fields in Korea. They included P. graminicola complex, P. monospermum complex, P. rostratum complex, and P. ultimum complex. The most frequently found species of the genus Pythium was P. graminicola complex followed by P. monospermum complex. Rice seed germinability was greatly decreased by being infested with P. graminicola complex at nursery box. P. graminicola complex was the most virulent in terms of prohibiting germinations and stunting plants in nursery boxes.

Drosophila melanogaster complex내의 유전적 유연관계에 관한 연구 (Genetic Relationship within the melanogaster Complex of the Genus Drosophila)

  • Genus Drosophila에서 melanogaster complex내의 4종에 대한 유연관계 해석을 위하여, insemination test에 의한 premating isolation, 잡종형성 여부에 의한 postmating isolation, 형태 형성에 관한 영향 및 종 분화 관련 유전자의 특징 등을 대상으로 조사하였다. 종내 교배에서는 insemination rate는 96∼99% 정도였고 종간 교배에서는 정역 교배간에 심한 변이를 보였으며 D. melanogaster 암컷은 타종 수컷과의 교배에서 전반적 성공률이 높으며 D. sechellia 수컷은 타종 암컷과의 교배에서 비교적 높은 교배 성공률을 보였다. 종간 잡종 형성에서는 특히 simulans, mauritiana 및 sechellia 사이에서 임성이 완전한 암컷과 불임의 수컷이 형성되어 이들 3종이 더욱 근연임을 시사하고 있다. sex comb과 genital arch에 대한 잡종의 형태 형성에 관한 영향은 대부분이 polygene에 의하여 조절되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. D. melanogaster와 simulans에 있어서 분화 관련 유전자로 추정되는 잡종의 온도 감수적 생존도는 주로 simu-lans의 X 염색체상의 유전자에 의하여 조절되고 있음이 분석되었다.

공동주택 단지 내 식재유형에 따른 온도저감 효과 연구 (A Study on the thermal comfort change according to the Planting Type in housing complex)

  • The rapid urbanization caused drastic temperature changes in Korea. Excessive urbanization and development result in unpredictable and abnormal climate change all over the world. These changes are reflected in Korean government policy and research about cities, such that various research endeavors have been undergone recently. There are lots of ways to improve the urban environment; the easiest way to solve the urban heat effect problem is to make green spaces within the city. Even though we can't enlarge green spaces over the city limitlessly, it is desperately need for a methodology to efficiently create green space in limited area. Based on awareness of issues as mentioned earlier, we would like to propose landscaping method that can increase thermal comfort in the same area. For this study, simulating the change of temperature, mean radiant temperature, PMV were done due to number of species planted in apartment complex. To increase the reliability of the simulation, first above all, field measurement for temperature change was performed in apartment complex, where residential building are arranged in the form of ㄷ. And based on this data, Envi-met simulation was performed varying 1-7 kinds of species divided by grass, shrubs, arbor (deciduous, conifers) planted in apartment complex. As a result, there was a change less than $1^{\circ}C$ with the increasing number of species in daytime, but the average radiation temperature about $6-7^{\circ}C$ was reduced. In addition, PMV index was improved by more than 0.5 point. Thermal comfort indicator improved significantly depending on the number of species during the day, on the other hand, there were no significant changes at night. As a consequence, this study has shown that not single-species planting but mixed planting varied the number of species would improve the thermal comfort in the same area of landscaping space at daytime.

Chromosome numbers of Euphorbia pekinensis complex in Far East Asia

  • We report somatic chromosome numbers for three species belonging to the Euphorbia pekinensis complex distributed in Far East Asia. In E. pekinensis populations distributed in Korea, 2n = 28 and 56 were found, while the Japanese native E. lasiocaula was also found at 2n = 28 and 56 and the Japanese endemic E. sinanensis was found at 2n = 20. Based on the number of chromosomes, E. lasiocaula distributed in Japan supports treatment as a variety of E. pekinensis rather than as a different species, while E. sinanensis should be recognized as a distinct species rather than as a variety of E. pekinensis. In the same populations of E. pekinensis and E. lasiocaula, diploid and tetraploid individuals were found, and the diversity of these chromosome numbers was consistent with the morphological diversity of these populations, suggesting the future evolutionary potential of this species.

Holomorph and Phylogeny of Erysiphe chloranthi on Chloranthus japonicus in Korea

  • Erysiphe chloranthi is the only powdery mildew species (Erysiphaceae) found on Chloranthus plants belonging to the family Chloranthaceae. This species has long been known to be present in Japan and Korea and is hence regarded as endemic to East Asia. Examination of seven Korean specimens revealed detailed morphological characteristics of the holomorph of this species. Short foot-cells of conidiophores are proposed as key characteristics that differ from related species. Sequences of the internal transcribed spacer regions and large subunit gene retrieved from four Korean samples confirm the phylogenetic position of this species within the Erysiphe aquilegiae complex. These data may help elucidate the identity of this species and clarify the ambiguity of the E. aquilegiae complex.

  • 본 연구에서는 C. foetida complex 및 그 근연종들에서 나타나는 형태 변이 양상을 수리분류학적으로 분석하여, 각 분류군의 타당성을 검토하고 그 한계 및 분류학적 위치를 명확히 설정하고자 하였다. 본 complex 및 근연종들의 주요 식별형질에 대한 주성분분석과 유집분석을 수행한 결과, C. foetida에 기재되어 있는 종하위 분류군들은 C. foetida var. foetida, C. foetida var. micrantha 및 C. foetida var. velutina의 3변종으로 정리하는 것이 타당한 것으로 밝혀졌다. 또한 C. brachycarpa, C. frigida, C. heracleifolia, C. yunnanensis는 각각 독립된 종으로 인식하는 것이 합당한 것으로 판명되었으며, C. heracleifolia는 주로 잎의 형태 및 털의 특징에 의해 var. heracleifolia 및 var. bifida의 2변종으로 구분되는 것으로 나타났다. 한편, C. mairei 및 C. foetida var. foliolosa는 C. foetida var. velutina와, C. foetida var. longbracteata 및 C. foetida var. bifida는 C. frigida와 각각 동일한 분류군인 것으로 밝혀졌다.
