  • This study is targeting Special Library users and aims to find out whether participation in the cultural events of K Special Library affects the levels of satisfaction and recognition of library users. With consideration for the actual operating case, the cultural events of K Special Library were categorized into reading activities, reading promotion events, exhibition events, lecture events, and others. The influential relationship between these cultural events, the level of satisfaction, intention of reuse, and level of recognition of the K Special Library service were analyzed. As a result of this study, participation in cultural events was found to affect the level of use, level of satisfaction on services, intention to reuse and recommend, and level of recognition of K Special Library users. However, regarding the level of satisfaction on the collection of books, there was no significant difference arising from participation in cultural events. As such, it is concluded that participation in cultural events does not affect the level of satisfaction on the collection of the books.

  • The knowledge of the specialized fields has been changed rapidly in the both side of quantity and quality. A hyper media as a knowledge based system is so fixed in the linked media in mutual that we couldn't tell it information provision with the view of users. In this paper, we propose the way of offering intellectual and flexible information which is the same with demand in the side of user, selecting, searching and composing the hypertext at the point of user's view through the design of knowledge media system. Three concepts are used in order to challenge the knowledge media system : special document, agent system and ontology. The special document is a ensure that its activities are coordinated with those of the others within the community, providing a uniform control mechanism. Finally, ontology is a language for exchanging knowledgement, which is a message exchanged among agents to ensure the proper interaction among them. The combination of these three concepts is used to design the prototype of knowledge media system.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of the media contained in textbooks for students with disabilities based on the information processing model, and to find ways to utilize library materials for class improvement for them. To this end, the media included in the in-depth learning activities of the Korean language textbooks of the 2015 revised special education basic curriculum were analyzed. As a result of the analysis, it was found that students with disabilities received information mainly through vision, process information through understanding, and use language intelligence to produce results. Specifically, they accepts learning contents through illustrations and texts, processes the contents based on understanding such as reasoning and explanation, and then uses linguistic intelligence such as writing and speaking to produce results. Based on the results of this analysis, a practical method to utilize library materials in the Korean language class of students with disabilities was proposed as follows. Developing a variety of input mediums based on reading stages and collection mapping for students with disabilities. Providing book materials through reading and listening. Teaching appropriate methodological knowledge to self-directly solve advanced learning activities. In addition, developing types of writing and writing strategies that can help various production activities.

  • DESIGNIN AND OPERATION OF DIGITAL EVIDENCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM APPLYING COMPUTER FORENSICS AND ELECTRONIC CERTIFICATION Digital evidence will be used as a term, which means the electronic form of information which is necessary to confirm or prove the factum of all kinds of behaviors committed through the devices which have data processing ability including computer. It is expected that there will be the increase of legal conflicts surrounding electronic commerce activities as well as the increase of cyber crimes, as the number of Internet users are getting bigger. In order to solve the problems of conflicts derived from electronic commerce, the factum of electronic commerce activities must be confirmed. In order to confirm the factum of electronic commerce activities, the evidence is prerequisite. Almost all evidences relating to the electronic commerce activities exist in digital form. For the reason that the digital evidence can be easily damaged and changed, special management is required to collect, analyze, and preserve the digital evidence. In order to meet this requirement, this study proposes a basic model of digital evidence management system applying computer forensics and electronic authentication.

  • After ten years from the introduction of CRM systems, many companies reevaluate CRM from the perspective of customers. This paper classifies CRM activities at the contact points with customers and investigates the effect of CRM activities on perceived benefits and the effect of perceived benefits on behavioral intention in the Korean cosmetic industry. The result showed that contact management and complaint handling affected social benefits and that customers perceived confidence benefits from contact management, complaint handling, and churn management. Special treatment benefits were affected by all CRM activities including compensation management. Finally, all kinds of benefits had effects on behavioral intention such as recommendation intention and repurchase intention.

Investigators interviewed the buyers of three department stores in Daejeon area and surveyed 468 people aged over 20 who did shopping those stores. The data were analyzed with factorial analysis, multiple regression analysis, path analysis, ANOVA, Scheffe Test, etc., using the SPSS 10.0. The results of this study were: 1) Six factors were identified: 'benefit & information', 'service', 'customer invitation', 'customer contact', 'special management', and 'purchase-related help'; 2) CRM activities of three department stores were different, and department store buyers and customers were different in perception on CRM activities; and 3) Customer satisfaction was affected by the CRM factors like 'service', 'customer invitation', 'purchase-related help', 'benefit & information', and 'customer contact' Customer loyalty were affected directly by customer satisfaction, 'benefit & information' and 'service', and indirectly by 'customer invitation', 'purchase-related help', 'customer contact' through customer satisfaction.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a human activity recognition (HAR) system, which distinguishes 13 activities, including five activities commonly dealt with in conventional HAR researches and eight activities from the Eastern-Asian culture. The eight special activities include floor-sitting/standing, chair-sitting/standing, floor-lying/up, and bed-lying/up. We used a 3-axis accelerometer sensor on the wrist for data collection and designed a machine learning model for the activity classification. Data clustering through preprocessing and feature extraction/reduction is performed. We then tested six machine learning algorithms for recognition accuracy comparison. As a result, we have achieved an average accuracy of 99.7% for the 13 activities. This result is far better than the average accuracy of current HAR researches based on a smartwatch (89.4%). The superiority of the HAR system developed in this study is proven because we have achieved 98.7% accuracy with publically available 'pamap2' dataset of 12 activities, whose conventionally met the best accuracy is 96.6%.

  • The purpose of this study is to inquire into the theoretical background of music therapy interventions for the improvement of mathematical concepts among young children with special needs. The researcher provides a basis of theoretical background about musical activities as an effective tool for young children to understand and promote their mathematical concepts, and the necessity of practical application in the field of mathematics education is suggested. Music, as a multi-sensory modality, has an ability to hold and maintain one's attention, and can be used as a memory aid and a powerful and effective motivator and reinforcer for young children. Therefore, musical activities can be used to facilitate mathematical concepts in the field of education for young children. Possible musical activities for promoting mathematical development are suggested, and the necessity for developing various musical activities is discussed.

  • Exosomes are double phospholipid membrane vesicles that are synthesized and secreted by a variety of cells, including T cells, B cells, dendritic cells, immune cells, are extracellular vesicles. Recent studies have revealed that exosomes can play a significant role in under both physiological and pathological conditions. They have been implicated in regulation of inflammatory responses, immune response, angiogenesis, tissue repair, and antioxidant activities, particularly in modulating immunity in autoimmune diseases (AIDs). Moreover, variations in the expression of exosome-related substances, such as miRNA and proteins, may not only offer valuable perspectives for the early warning, and prognostic assessment of various AIDs, but may also serve as novel markers for disease diagnosis. This article examines the impact of exosomes on the development of AIDs and explores their potential for therapeutic application.
