태양열 공기가열 집열기에 의한 난방 실내공간의 열유동 특성 해석 (Analysis on Characteristics of Thermal Flow for Heating Indoor Space by Air-heating Collector using Solar Heat)

  • The solar energy has been widely used to reduce the fossil fuel and prevent the environmental pollution. The renewable energy including solar heat tends to spread due to carbon neutrality for main country of the world. Targets of solar collector are usually acquisitions of hot water or hot air. Especially, air-heating collector using solar heat is known as the technology for obtaining hot air. This study aims to investigate of characteristics of thermal flow when the hot air by air-heating collector using solar heat flows inside of indoor space. The thermal flow of heating indoor space was simulated using ANSYS-CFX program and thus the behaviors of hot air in indoor space were evaluated with standard k-𝜀 turbulence model. As the results, as the inlet velocity was increased, the behaviors of hot air became simple, and temperature range of 25~75℃ had almost no effect on behavior of flow. As the inlet temperature was increased, the temperature curve of indoor space from bottom to top was changed from linear to quadratic. Furthermore, it was confirmed that inlet velocity as well as inlet temperature also should be considered to heat indoor space equally by air-heating collector using solar heat.

  • The Commercial space are changed gradually large scalized and complexed to introduce different culture exchanges and experience. However, the mass-complex commercial space are limited as of their complexed space composition or degree of space depth, which may become factors causing people to get tired easily. Thus, having a design strategy is important to create economical effectiveness in order to overcome these limitations and for the people to stay longer and do their consumption activities through more experiences and social interchanges. Recently, Jerde Partnership's who designed many complex commercial spaces made a commercial success by their unique design strategy to setup a new space and lead the interaction between space and people. The purpose of this study is based on Jerd's design concept to analyze Jerd Partnership's design strategy and space related structure to propose their space construction and design method for mass-complex commercial spaces. The results are as follows. (1)Jerde Partnership's causes the abundant space experience of the user through mass and space constitution to have a theme and a story. (2)They builds an excursion type line of flow system with an organic curve, and a non-daily experience by the change of the space scale and the application of various programs is enabled and guides the stay for the long time. (3)They builds the doorway of various courses and a circulation system through the open space and controls depth of the space. In addition, various events are performed in the center of such a circulation system, and this event makes a unique place.

비평면 양력면 이론과 반복적 캠버변형 기법을 이용한 날개의 실속 특성 예측 (Stall Prediction of Wing Using the Nonplanar Lifting Surface Theory and an Iterative Decambering Approach)

  • 본 연구에서는 3차원 날개의 실속 특성을 예측하였다. 날개의 실속 특성을 해석하기 위해 반복적 캠버변형 기법을 비평면 양력면 이론에 도입하였다. 반복적 캠버변형 기법은 기지의 2차원 에어포일 데이터를 이용하여 3차원 날개의 실속 특성을 해석한다. 날개의 한 단면에서의 캠버변형이 날개의 다른 단면에 미치는 영향은 다차원 뉴턴 반복법을 사용하여 고려하였다. 해석 결과는 실험값과 타 전산해석 결과와 비교하여 일치되는 결과를 보였다. 본 기법은 비틀림 또는 조종면을 갖는 어떠한 날개에도 적용이 가능하며 또한 날개와 날개의 상호 작용이 있을 때의 실속 특성도 예측 가능하다.

  • 보현산천문대의 1.8m 망원경과 CCD 측광장치를 이용하여 1999년 10월 20일 밤에 얻은 V523 Cas 근처의 약 $12'{\times}12'$ 시야를 찍은 124장의 이미지를 처리하여 측광 정밀도를 계산하는 과정에서 ${\Delta}m$ 광도곡선의 기울기가 별 마다 다르다는 사실을 발견하였다. 관련 여러 항목들 간의 인자분석을 함으로서, 그 기울기가 CCD프레임 상의 위치와 관련성이 높음을 알아 내고, 그 결과 CCD의 우하부에서 좌상부 쪽으로 감광감도를 저하시키는 요인이 시간이 흐름에 따라 점점 심하게 작용했다고 보고, 이의 원인으로 CCD 냉각이 균질하지 못하여 서리 같은 것이 서서히 우하부로 부터 좌상부 쪽으로 진행해서 생겼다는 시나리오를 제시했다.

  • A digital $(k_0,\;k_1)$-homotopy is induced from digital $(k_0,\;k_1)$-continuity with the n kinds of $k_i$-adjacency relations in ${\mathbb{Z}}^n$, $i{\in}\{0,\;1\}$. The k-fundamental group, ${\pi}^k_1(X,\;x_0)$, is derived from the pointed digital k-homotopy, $k{\in}\{3^n-1(n{\geq}2),\;3^n-{\sum}^{r-2}_{k=0}C^n_k2^{n-k}-1(2{\leq}r{\leq}n-1(n{\geq}3)),\;2n(n{\geq}1)\}$. In this paper two kinds of digital 8-pseudotori stemmed from the minimal simple closed 4-curve and the minimal simple closed 8-curve with 8-contractibility or without 8-contractibility, e.g., $DT_8$ and $DT^{\prime}_8$, are introduced and their digital topological properties are studied by the calculation of the k-fundamental groups, $k{\in}\{8,\;32,\;64,\;80\}$.

A method of minimum-time trajectory planning ensuring collision-free motion for two robot arms

  • A minimum-time trajectory planning for two robot arms with designated paths and coordination is proposed. The problem considered in this paper is a subproblem of hierarchically decomposed trajectory planning approach for multiple robots : i) path planning, ii) coordination planning, iii) velocity planning. In coordination planning stage, coordination space, a specific form of configuration space, is constructed to determine collision region and collision-free region, and a collision-free coordination curve (CFCC) passing collision-free region is selected. In velocity planning stage, normal dynamic equations of the robots, described by joint angles, velocities and accelerations, are converted into simpler forms which are described by traveling distance along collision-free coordination curve. By utilizing maximum allowable torques and joint velocity limits, admissible range of velocity and acceleration along CFCC is derived, and a minimum-time velocity planning is calculated in phase plane. Also the planning algorithm itself is converted to simple numerical iterative calculation form based on the concept of neural optimization network, which gives a feasible approximate solution to this planning problem. To show the usefulness of proposed method, an example of trajectory planning for 2 SCARA type robots in common workspace is illustrated.

CUDA를 이용한 최대-최소 8진트리 생성 기법 (Min-Max Octree Generation Using CUDA)

  • 볼륨 렌더링은 볼륨 데이터로부터 유용한 정보를 추출하여 시각화 하는 방법이다. 일반적으로 볼륨 렌더링에서 사용하는 데이터가 크기 때문에 실시간 처리가 가능한 수준의 빠른 렌더링을 위한 가속기법들이 중요하다. 최대-최소 8진트리는 고속 볼륨 렌더링을 위한 자료구조이지만, 볼륨데이터가 클수록 생성시간이 오래 걸리는 문제가 있다. 본 논문에서는 CUDA를 이용하여 GPU에서 최대-최소 8진트리의 생성을 가속화 하는 방법을 제안한다. 먼저 볼륨데이터에 Space Filling Curve를 적용하여 3차원의 데이터를 연속적인 1차원 배열형태로 변환한다. 이렇게 변환된 데이터로부터 최대-최소 8진트리 자료구조를 만들어 빈공간 도약기법에 적용함으로써 렌더링 속도를 향상시킬 수 있다.

Physical Parameters of Late Type Spiral Galaxies - III. Mass and Mass to Luminosity Ratio of NGC 7793

  • The mass distribution and other related quantities were calculated by fitting the observed rotation curve(Davoust and de Vaucouleur 1980) to Brandt and Belton's mass distribution model. One of n values for mass model is determined as 1.5(Vm=95 $kms^{-1}$) and two pairs of them are determined as 0.8(Vm = 95$kms^{-1}$) and 2.0 and 0.8 (Vm = 55$kms^{-1}$) and 2.0 because of the hump in observed rotation curve. Total masses and integrated mass to luminosity ration are $1.8\times10^{10}M_\odot,\;1.5\times10^{10}M_\odot,\;1.4\times10^{10}M_\odot$, and 6.57, 5.33, 5.26 for three cases according to n values. Integrated mass to luminosity ratio in Holmberg radius is 3.44, 3.26, 3.00 in god agreement with the typical value of Sd type suggested by Faber and Gallagher(1979). Presented halo masses which are fifty percent of total masses and halo mass to luminosity ratios given as 75.83, 53.50, 58.75 are values less than Turner's(1976).

Kalman filter technique for defining solar regular geomagnetic variations

  • Motivated by recent attempts to derive geomagnetic activity from hourly mean data in long term studies, we test the recursive Kalman filter method to obtain the regular solar variation curve of the geomagnetic field. Using a simple algorithm, we are able to assign a quiet day curve to every day separately, without the need for additional input parameter(s) to define the geomagnetically quiet days. We derive a digital counterpart AhK of the analog range index Ak at the subauroral Sodankyl$\ddot{a}$ station and compare it to the earlier digital estimate Ah and the local Ak index. We find that the new method outperforms the former estimate in every aspect studied and provides a robust, straightforward manner of estimating and verifying the manually scaled Ak index, based on readily available hourly values. The model is independent of sampling; thus, for shorter term studies where high-sampling data are available, more accurate estimates can also be obtained when needed. Therefore, in contrast to other recent approaches, we do not provide a method to quantify irregular activity directly but derive the actual quiet day curves in the traditional manner. In future applications the same algorithm may be used to define a wide variety of geomagnetic indices (such as Ak, Dst, or AE).

시뮬레이션 분석을 통한 EPS실 화재위험성 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on Fire Risk Assessment of a EPS room using Fire Simulation)

  • 본 연구는 구획된 소공간유형의 EPS실에서 케이블 등의 가연성물질에 대한 화재특성을 시뮬레이션(FDS6)을 활용하여 진행하였다. 구획된 공간인 EPS실에서는 산소의 공급이 원활하지 않아 표준화재곡선에서와 같은 우상향의 연소곡선이 나타나지 않았다. 환기가 제한되는 상황에서 열방출율과 연기 방출량에 대한 시뮬레이션 결과는 상승과 하락을 반복하며 불안정한 형태의 복잡한 화재특성을 보였다. 화재시간은 화재하중에 비하여 길게 나타났다. 열방출율에 비하여 연기 방출량의 변화는 느리게 진행되었으나 전체적인 면에서 변화양상은 유사성을 보이는 것으로 확인되었다.
