자동차 타이어 도로소음 예측 시스템 개발 (System Development for Road Noise Prediction of Automobile Tire)

  • Noise produced by surface transportation vehicles affects our daily lives, penetrating wherver man lives or works. In this paper, a theoretical model has been studied to describe the sound radiation by the surface vibration of in-service tires and studied about an experiment on sound radiation characteristic due to tire vibration. When a tire is analyzed, it has been modeled as a curved beams with distributed sprongs and dash-pots which represent the radial, tangential stiffnes and damping of tire, respectively. The experimental investigation for the sound radiation of a radial tire has been made. Based on the sound intensity and STSF(Spatial Transformation of Sound Field) techniques. the sound pressure and the sound radiation are measured. The comparison of numerically analyzed results with experimental results was made seperately for the tire in rotation. As a result of this study, a program for the prediction of the tire vibration sound radiation was intended to by developed which enables a designer of a tire to foresee the influence of the various design factors on the tire vibration sound radiation.

  • Noise emitted by driving cars affects our daily life, penetrating wherever man lives or works. There are three types of possible sound emitting processes that are aerodynamic sources, air pumping and tire vibration. In this paper, a theoretical model has been studied to describe the sound radiation by the surface vibration of running tires and experimental verification has been conducted to evaluate sound radiation characteristic due to tire vibration.

  • Curved intakes are commonly used from commercial aircraft to military missile. Sound radiation from the intake of air vehicle affects cabin noise, community noise and military detection. In this paper, Sound radiation from curved intake is computed using the high order, high resolution scheme. The generalized characteristic boundary conditions, adaptive nonlinear artificial dissipation model and conformal mapping for high order, high resolution scheme are used. The geometric change of curved intake and the frequency of acoustic source are considered. Two dimensional Euler equations are solved for theses analyses.

  • In this study, characteristics of impact force and impact sound of impact source such as bang machine, impact ball, and children's jumping were review. Results of review showed that impact ball has most similar characteristic to real impact sources in terms of objective properties such as impact force and impact sound. The effects of various isolator on floor impact sound were also investigated in apartment building and test facilities building using bang machine an impact ball. From the field measurement, it was found that the difference in reduction sound level between bang machine and impact ball was relatively large and the reduction sound level by impact ball was much larger than bang machine.

  • This study aims to provide an effective method to reduce construction noise generated by breakers. To reduce the breaker's noise level, a sound encloser was developed; the sound insulation's performance was tested in the field. From the field test, the following results were obtained. The sound insertion loss was about 6.5dB(A), even though part of the sound encloser for the breaker was left unclosed. This is equal to the reduction value which can be obtained by using more expensive low noise breakers, proving that there are more effective measures for sound insulation at lower cost. The characteristic of frequency was evaluated to show an even reduction through all frequency bands, except 630Hz.

  • The two-microphone sound-intensity technique has been used for the detection of defects in radially loaded ball bearings. The difference in the sound-intensity levels measured for bearings with no defect and for those with intentionally introduced defects of different sizes in their elements under various operating conditions of loads and speeds is demonstrated. A change in the intensity frequency spectrum because of the defects is observed. The results show that the detectability of an outer-race defect is much better than that of on inner-race or ball defect. It is difficult to detect defects at lower speeds. Sound-pressure measurements were also performed fur comparison, and it is shown that the detectability of defects by sound-intensity measurements is better than that by sound-pressure measurements.

  • 적절한 촉각자극은 사운드 효과의 실감성을 증진시킬 수 있다. 예를 들어, 게임이나 영화 등에서 총소리와 함께 발생하는 진동자극은 감상자의 몰입감을 향상시킬 수 있다. 이러한 맥락에서 음향만을 담고 있는 기존 사운드 파일에 촉각자극정보를 부가하여 사운드 플레이와 함께 햅틱장치를 통해 진동자극을 준다면 좀 더 사실감 있는 사운드 체험을 할 수 있을 것이다. 본 논문에서는 사운드 파일을 분석하여 그에 따른 촉각자극정보를 생성하는 방법을 제안한다. 촉각자극정보란 사운드 파일 내에서 특정 소리가 발생하는 시간위치와 발생시켜야 하는 촉각자극패턴이다. 수작업으로 이러한 촉각자극정보를 생성하는 것은 많은 수고를 필요로 한다. 본 논문은 이러한 수작업을 대체할 수 있도록, 사운드 파일에서 특정 소리의 발생시점을 검색할 수 있는 사운드 감지 알고리즘과 촉각자극정보 생성방식을 제안한다. 사운드 감지 알고리즘은 검색하고자 하는 사운드의 주파수 특성을 이용하여 유사한 특성을 가지는 시점들을 찾아낸다. 개발한 알고리즘을 실험한 결과, 5가지 서로 다른 사운드에 대해 98% 이상의 감지 성공률을 얻을 수 있었다. 연구 결과를 종합하여 GUI기반의 진동패턴 생성 유틸리티를 개발하였다. 이 유틸리티를 이용하면 사운드 파일에서 특정 소리의 발생 부분을 자동으로 검색하고, 그 시점마다 원하는 진동정보를 손쉽게 생성할 수 있다.

  • 실제적으로, 현재의 교통사고 검지시스템은 주로 교차로에서의 영상정보와 디지털 영상처리기술에만 거의 의존하고 있기 때문에 교차로에서의 혼잡한 상황하에서는 정확한 판별의 제한이 잔존하고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 보완하기 위하여, 본 논문은 교차로에서의 교통사고 자동검지율의 향상을 위해 검토되어야 할 사고음의 음향특성을 분석함으로써 현재 기술수준과 실현가능성을 가늠해 보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 교차로 주변에 차량의 소통이 거의 없을 때는 자동차사고 스키드음은 1[KHz]$\sim$3[KHz] 대역에서 특정패턴을 보였다. 또한, 차량 충돌음의 주파수 대역은 500[Hz]이하에서 사고가 발생하지 않은 시점보다 높은 30[dB] 이상의 음압차이를 보였다.

  • A subjective index of sound quality when it hit him is required since human listening is very sensitive and complex. Sound quality evaluation it leads consequently rightly in each situation and it composes a sound quality factor. But one of the levels in interest frequency range is substitute we cannot see the tendency of frequency substitute at whole that is executes a clear voice evaluation. Design of experiment is used and dividing 12 equally in frequency domain, the sound quality using sharpness and annoyance is performed by modifying each of frequency domains. Design of experiment method reduces much number experiment very effectively and each main effect of domain solution analysis, such as a case of sharpness and annoyance, the change of domain (increase and decrease of sound pressure level, or change nil) can grasp a type of effect should have influenced to a sound quality, and it will be able to select the objective frequency domain which hits to the sound quality. Through these obtained results the physical changes of level at arbitrary frequency domain sensitivity can be adapted.

승용차의 고급감 음질에 대한 연구 (Research for High Sound Quality for a Passenger Car)

  • Future luxury car must satisfy the improvement of the luxury sound quality on the vehicle interior noise. Previously, we have analyzed vehicle interior noise by dB(A) based analysis. However, dB(A) has very little to do with the psychological satisfaction of the consumers. People want a sound that is characteristic and refined not a sound that is quiet and common. Subjective test were conducted to determine the relationship between subject' s responses and calculated metric values. People choose the most luxury sound among the various vehicle interior noise. And the purpose of this study is that we understand the metrics which constitute the luxury vehicle sound. We have analyzed vehicle interior noise by using the statistical analysis such as multiple regression method and correlation method. And we organized the index of the luxury sound quality.
