Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) are anthropogenic contaminants found globally in water, ice, soil, air and sediment. Modern analytical techniques allow us to determine these chemicals in environmental matrices at parts per trillion levels or lower. Environmental forensic on PCBs opens up new avenues of investigation such as transport and fate of water masses in oceans, sedimentation, onset of primary production, migration of marine mammals, their population distribution and pharmacokinetics of drugs inside organisms. By virtue of persistence, bioaccumulation, bioconcentration and structure-activity relationship PCBs emerge as unconventional chemical tracers of new sort.

일반적으로 교육 활동은 이론과 실습을 모두 포함하며, 실습은 학습 내용에 대한 이해를 돕고 활용 능력 배양을 위해 필요하다. 컴퓨터 분야에서도 학습자가 직접 조작할 수 있는 교육용 도구의 활용이 매우 효과적이다. 본 논문에서는 자료구조 교과목의 주요 학습 주제인 정렬 기법을 대상으로 정렬 기법들의 동작 방식을 확인할 수 있는 교육용 정렬 시뮬레이터를 설계하고 구현하였다.

The adoption of cladding panels as dissipation device is a sort of passive control "ante litteram" for residential and commercial buildings. This paper gives details on the current technology outlining the difference between buffer panels and cladding panels. The discussion of robustness and resilience of the resulting system is afforded. It is shown that the strength of such solution, originally related to economy and light weight, is mainly associated with the respect of the main robustness requisites, as well as the short time it requires for removal and replacement (resilience).

A commutative productive category is proposed to the current CCG for the syntactic analysis of free word order languages like Korean. The introduction of this sort of category is quite natural for categorial lexicon and functional operations. We present the theorical basis of productive category and examine the linguistic availability through typical syntactic structures of Korean.

A case of 35-year-man with a rhabdomyosarcoma in the mandible has been presented. Chief complaints are dull sensation and growing mass at the area of the right mandible. In order to make diagnosis, roentgenograms were taken which revealed some sort of radiopaque and punched appearane at the area from right body to angle of the mandible, and biopsy was made, by which rhabdomyosarcoma was observed. The author treated this patient in terms of hemimandiblectomy, neck dissection and resin-made mandible implantation, and has observed this patient for two and half years after operation. The author satisfy that this patient has been recovered.

Moving pattern is as a kind of sequential pattern, which can be extracted from the large volume of location history data. This sort of knowledge is very useful in supporting intelligence to the LBS or GIS. In this paper, we proposed the continuous moving pattern mining approach in LBS platform and LBS Miner. The location updates of moving objects affect the set of the rules maintained. In our approach, we use the validity thresholds that indicate the next time to invoke the incremental pattern mining. The mining system will play a major role in supporting the various LBS solutions.

Chemical mechanical polishing(CMP) has been adopted in processing semiconductors for more than ten years. The decision maker has the job of torecasting capital investments and operating expenses to aid the decision making in choosing and evaluating present and future alternatives. The estimating function eventually analysis, evaluates and choose the alternatives. The analysis stemmed originally from a preliminary design of some sort, and eventually plans are started to investigate investment possibilites. This study provide the descounted cash flow and the present worth method. Despite any choice of an analytical method, there remains the problem of predicting certain future events. Therefore, these models dealing with optimum plant sizing, equipment replacement, and lease or buy will be discussed.
