본 논문에서는 P2P 네트워크에서 피어들 간에 멀티미디어 콘텐츠의 특정 구간을 구간정보를 이용하여 효율적으로 스트리밍 하는 방법에 대하여 논한다. 피어들은 콘텐츠의 관심 있는 부분만을 쉽고 편리하게 추출하려는 경향이 있기 때문에 멀티미디어 콘텐츠에서 구간정보를 색인한 파일을 만들어 검색서버에 등록한 후 피어들의 요청이 있을 때 이 구간정보를 이용하여 필요한 부분만을 스트리밍 서비스할 수 있도록 한다. 이를 위하여 피어의 PC가 필요에 따라 서버 기능을 할 수 있도록 기능을 구현하고, 검색서버에서 제공되는 구간정보에 따라 해당하는 피어가 구간별로 콘텐츠를 스트리밍 한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 스트리밍 방식의 평가는 스트리밍 요청 후 재생되는 시점까지의 최초전송지연시간에 초점을 맞추었으며, 동일 조건에서 기존의 스트리밍 방식과 비교하여 낮은 수치를 보여주고 있다.

The bearing coupling section of machine tools is the most important factor to determine their static/dynamic stiffness. To ensure the proper performance of machine tools, the static/dynamic stiffness of the rotating system has to be predicted on the design stage. Various parameters of the bearing coupling section, such as the spring element, node number and preload influence the characteristics of rotating systems. This study focuses on the prediction of the static and dynamic stiffness of the rotating system with the bearing coupling section using the finite element (FE) model. MATRIX 27 in ANSYS has been adopted to describe the bearing coupling section of machine tools because the MATRIX 27 can describe the bearing coupling section close to the real object and is applicable to various machine tools. The FE model of the bearing couple section which has the sixteen node using MATRIX 27 was constructed. Comparisons between finite element method (FEM) predictions and experimental results were performed in terms of the static and dynamic stiffness.

This thesis has been researched on optimized design method for the total cross section of embankment considering the fact that the size of embankment cross section is directly related with economic efficiency when dam designing. In general, embankment cross section of fill dam is either determined by cohesion and angle of internal friction, a strength parameter of embankment materials or by permeability of embankment. Therefore the size of embankment cross section depending on strength parameter of embankment materials was determined by using MIDAS-GTS program through stress-seepage coupled analysis at the time of fill dam design. As a result, determination of embankment cross section was more affected by the size of central core and permeability rather than by slope stability by shear strength and it was revealed that in case of embankment height being over 20m, stability against infiltration and slope action could be secured only when embankment slope is at least over 1:2.5. In addition, it was also revealed that in case of making the size of central core exceeding specification standard, total cross section of embankment could be reduced considerably and at the time of embankment design, adequate size and appropriateness of embankment cross section could be determined with referring the table suggested by this study.

The gas ventilated by supercavitation splits into smaller bubbles and follows the water passage of the cavitation tunnel. The bubbles quickly return to the test section by rather high speed flow, and interrupt the observation of the supercavitation. To secure clear observation in the test section, the bubble collecting section(settling chamber) of large volume is prepared to collect bubbles in the water passage ahead of the test section. The bubble collecting section should provide enough buoyancy effect to the bubbles for proper bubble collecting. However, rather high-speed oncoming flow produces non-uniform velocity distribution and deteriorates buoyancy effect in the bubble collecting section. In the present study, the bubble collecting space and three porous plates are designed and analyzed through numerical methods, and the bubble collecting function is experimentally validated by 1/10-scaled model in terms of the formation of uniformly low velocity distribution in the bubble collecting section.

The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the vascular plants in the Baekdudaegan Mountains and to provide the basic data necessary for future ecosystem conservation measures. The numbers of vascular plants were summarized as 699 taxa including 98 families, 338 genera, 598 species, 4 subspecies, 80 varieties, and 17 forms. There were 427 taxa in A-section, 451 taxa in B-section, 361 taxa in C-section, and 455 taxa in D-section. The rare plants were 37 taxa including 2 taxa of the CR, EN, and DD each, 12 taxa of the VU, and 19 taxa of the LC. The Korean endemic plants were 30 taxa including Salix koriyanagi Kimura, Hanabusaya asiatica (Nakai) Nakai, Carex okamotoi Ohwi, and so forth. The northern plants were 41 taxa including Equisetum hyemale L., Anemone reflexa Steph. et Willd., Symplocarpus renifolius Schott ex Miq., and so forth. The naturalized plants were 33 taxa including Fallopia dumetorum (L.) Holub, Coreopsis lanceolata L., Poa pratensis L., and so forth. The invasive alien plants were 3 taxa including Rumex acetocella L., Ambrosia artemisiifolia L., and Aster pilosus Willd.

Natural frequencies of the transverse vibration of beams with step change in cross-section are obtained by using the asymptotic closed form solution. This closed form solution is found by using WKB method under the assumption of slowly varying properties, such as mass, cross-section, tension etc., along the beam length. However, this solution is found to be still very accurate even in the case of large variation in cross-section and tension. Therefore, this result can be easily applied to many engineering problems.
