노년기 예방검진에서 사회경제적 불평등 (Socioeconomic Inequalities in Preventive Services among the Elderly: Results from Medical Checkup, Cancer Check, and BP Check)

  • Objectives: Due to the assumptions of homogeneity as well as challenges in the socioeconomic position of the elderly, they have been relatively neglected in studies of health inequalities. Therefore, this study was conducted to investigate the social inequalities in preventive services among elderly men and women. Methods: Data were obtained from a nationally representative sample of 342 men and 525 women aged 65 and over collected during the 2001 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. Age adjusted proportions and logistic regression were used to identify the social patterning of preventive services among elderly Koreans using various social position indicators. Results: The findings of this study generally supported the presence of social gradients in preventive services among the Korean elderly. The likelihood of using the service becomes progressively higher with social position. Educational level, income, and self-rated living status were significantly associated with increased medical checkups and cancer checks. In addition, logistic regression detected educational inequalities only among older women receiving BP checks. After being stratified based on health status and chronic disease status, social disparities still existed when educational level and self-rated living status were considered. Among unhealthy individuals, place of residence was observed as a barrier to medical checkups. Conclusions: This study demonstrated strong and consistent associations between socioeconomic position and preventive services among the elderly in Korea. The results indicate that public health strategies should be developed to reduce the barriers to preventive services encountered by the elderly.

Perception of Library Personel Towards Socal Media Utilization for Information Service Delivery in University Libraries in Kwara State

  • The study examined perception of library personnel towards social media utilization for information service delivery in kwara state university library. It adopted the descriptive survey design with population consisting of 27 professional librarians in three selected university libraries in kwara State. Total enumerative sampling techniques were used because the population of the study is manageable by the researcher. Percentage and mean were used in analyzing the data. Primary data solicited would be cleaned, coded and entered into the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 20 software for quantitative analysis. The findings of the study revealed the services rendered by library professional in university libraries in Kwara State, are Current Awareness Services (CAS), Photocopying services, Technical Services, Circulation/borrowing services, Internet services, and Bibliographic verification services. Majority of the respondent indicated Myspace, Google plus, Flickr, Telegram, Twitter, WhatsApp and Facebook are the social media platforms used for service delivery by librarians. Also, majority of the respondents in university libraries indicated Google plus, LinkedIn, Myspace, Skype, WhatsApp, Flickr, WeChat, Twitter and Facebook as social media space use for information service delivery effectively and Bandwidth problem, Limited fund, Lack of maintenance culture, Lack of Awareness, Copyright Issue, Technophobia are the major challenges inhibiting the use of social media for service delivery by the library staff. Lastly, the study concluded with recommendations.

  • 본 연구는 소셜네트워크서비스를 소셜커머스 분야에 활용하는 정책을 제언하고자 하는 목적에서 이루어졌다. 이를 위해 먼저 소셜네크워크 서비스에 대한 개념을 살펴보고, 소셜네크워크 서비스의 대표적인 유형 4가지를 제시하고 각각의 특성을 분석하였다. 더불어 소셜커머스의 국내현황과 개념을 제시하였으며, 대표적인 소셜커머스 유형 6가지를 제시하고 각각의 특성을 분석하였다. 끝으로 소셜네트워크 서비스를 소셜커머스에 활용할 수 있는 정책적 제언을 제시하였다. 본 연구결과는 기업들이 소셜네크워크 서비스를 어떻게 소셜커머스 사업에 활용할 수 있는 가에 대한 마케팅적 함의를 제시했다는 점에 그 가치가 있다고 하겠다.

  • 사회복지시설은 지역주민의 복지욕구에 적합한 서비스의 자원개발과 전달체계를 국가로부터 위임받아 국민에게 전문적인 사회복지서비스 제공을 위해 시설의 합리적이고 효율적인 시설운영과 효과적인 서비스전달 등에 대한 사회적 책임의식을 가진다. 지금까지 사회복지사업법 규정에 의한 제5차에 걸친 평가는 사회복지시설 운영의 효율성과 책임성을 제고하는 동시에 합리적이고 체계적인 운영방향을 제시하여 사회복지시설의 균형적 발전과 선진화를 위한 중요한 토대를 마련하였다. 그러나 사회복지시설 평가의 문제점에 대해서도 지속적으로 제기되어 온 것도 사실이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 사회복지시설에 대한 사회적 요구에 부응할 수 있는 평가체계가 갖추어야 할 기준과 개선방안을 도출함으로써 시설이용자들의 복지를 통한 삶의 질을 향상시킬 수 있는 융합모형을 제시하고자 한다.

사회복지사의 보건소 노인보건복지사업 참여를 위한 사회복지사 역할개발연구 (A Study on Role Development for Social Workers Providing Health Center-based Health and Welfare Services for the Elderly in Community)

  • This study was conducted to, develop the social workers role participating health and welfare services production of health centers The sharp increase rate on the elderly population in Korea lead the social issues as that health and social services are not developed enough to cope with the increase on the elderly's hearth care needs. The priority in the elderly's care service development should be put on public sectors. so that could prevent financial catastrophy of the elderly's care. The pulbic sector was concerned with health center services : as health center in Korea provide :mainly medical-oriented services. this study focused on to combine the existing health center's services into social services. The study method was based on needs survey with 322 patients aged over than 55 in rural area. "The needs survey include general health and disease care needs and daily life caring needs. The latter was applied with ADL and IADL with modificiation for the use of Korea environment. The findings were as follows : Social workers should be able to care diseases of muscular and skeletal. circulatory, digestive and general chronic disease in social service needs. aspect. Mostly the chronic pateints quit their care services because of shortage of finanical support$(18.3\%)$ and transportation problem$(19.5\%)$, but still prefer to be cured and cared from general hospitals. and at least clinic and health centers in community. The univisible dramatic effect. of health. care services also should be concerned and cared by xocial workers. The ADL and! IADL shown the most needs on transportation needs and problems caused by weaken legs. Mostly daily activities were supported by family members $(53.3\%\;spousers\;and\;35.0\%\;children)$, and the most demands were shown on helps for transportation visiting hospitals$(37\%)$ and getting similar care services for health care needs $(31.2\%)$ and daily hygeieal needs$(11.2\%)$ Social workers' role should include health care participation with social and health promotion approach as well as socio-economic supports: during health care receiving. Social workers also should provide social services for the elderly's daily needs solving for these are not in available family supporters.

정보서비스와 결혼이주여성의 사회통합 (Developing Information Services and Social Integration of Marriage Migrant Women in Korea)

  • 오늘 날 한국사회는 세계화와 함께 빠른 이주민의 증가를 경험하고 있다. 특히, 급격히 증가하는 국제결혼과 다문화가족의 확대는 한국사회 내 이주민의 사회 적응과 통합 문제를 제기하게 되었다. 이에 본 연구는 이주민의 사회통합과 정보서비스 및 기술교육 서비스와의 관계에 주목하였다. 결혼이주여성에 대한 서베이조사를 활용하여 이들의 삶의 만족과 고용형태에 정보서비스 및 기술교육이 어떠한 영향을 주는가를 다항 및 로짓 회귀분석을 통해 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 사회서비스를 사용한 경험은 삶의 만족에 긍정적인 영향을 보이고 있다. 즉 정보서비스 및 기술교육의 경험은 결혼이주여성의 고용기회를 확대하였으며 그들의 창업 혹은 취업의지를 증가시키는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 한국사회 결혼이주여성의 사회통합을 위해 정보서비스, 기술교육프로그램 및 기술교육서비스의 제공이 중요한 역할을 수행함을 보여준다.

The modernization approach to the regional processes monitoring of the social services provision in the context of the modern public policy

  • The modernization approach to monitoring regional processes of providing social services is proposed. The methodological approach is developed in the context of the modern public policy, which includes the following stages: the formation of a system of indicators that characterize the level of the social services modernization; the determination of the levels of regions development by such components as the modernization level of the economic sphere, the modernization level of the demographic component and the modernization level of employment; the determination of weights for each group of indicators and calculation of integrated indicators, ranking of regions; the allocation of criteria for classification and grouping of regions according to the modernization level of the social services sphere; highlighting the most important problems of each region. The proposed method is tested on the example of the Ukraine's regions. According to the results of calculations of the modernization level of the processes of providing social services, the ranking and grouping of the regions was carried out. The rating allowed to distinguish four groups of regions: regions with a high modernization level of social services, regions with above-average levels, as well as regions with medium and low levels. The author's modernization approach to monitoring the processes of providing social services allows to investigate the real state of the main indicators influencing these processes and to identify problem regions in order to develop mechanisms to stimulate their development.

소셜커머스의 쇼핑 가치와 재구매의도에 영향을 미치는 개인 및 소셜커머스 특성과 지각된 보안의 조절효과에 대한 연구 (An Empirical Study on Individual and Social Commerce Factors Impacting Shopping Value and Intention to Repurchase in Social Commerce and Moderating Effects of Perceived Security)

  • Web 2.0 has affected existing e-commerce and created a new business model of e-commerce, known as social commerce. Social commerce is a subset of e-commerce using social network services and is emerging as an important platform due to increased popularity of social networking services. This study focuses on analyzing the factors that influence the shopping value and intention to repurchase of social commerce users. Based on prior researches, we develop a research model, including individual characteristics of social commerce users (Collectivism, Price Sensitivity, Impulse Buying) and social commerce characteristics (Cost saving, Product Variety, Shopping Convenience). Furthermore, this study proposed the moderating effect of Perceived Security and the relationship between shopping value and intention to repurchase. To empirically validate, the data were collected from 220 social commerce users. The results indicated that individual characteristics (collectivism, price sensitivity, impulse buying) were positively related to hedonic shopping value. In addition, social commerce characteristics (cost saving, shopping convenience) were positively related to utilitarian value. The shopping value(hedonic and utilitarian) had a significant influence on intention to repurchase. The moderating effects of perceived security also was significant. Lastly, the implications for theory and practice are discussed.

종업원의 고객에 대한 배려행동이 서비스 충성도에 미치는 영향: 미용실서비스와 패스트푸드서비스의 비교적 접근 (The Effect of Employees' Social Regard on Service Loyalty: Comparative Approach of Beauty Services and Fast-food Services in Service Settings)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 고객에 대한 배려가 전반적인 서비스품질, 서비스 만족과 서비스 충성도에 대한 영향력을 검증함으로서, 서비스에서 종업원의 고객에 대한 배려 행동이 충성도 형성 과정에 미치는 영향을 설명하였다. 또한 고객에 대한 배려의 전반적인 서비스품질과 만족에 대한 영향이 서비스 접촉수준이 높은 미용실 서비스와 낮은 패스트푸드 서비스 사이에 차이가 난다는 것을 검증하였다. 본 연구는 미용실 서비스와 패스트푸드 서비스를 이용한 경험을 가진 소비자를 대상으로 자료를 수집하였으며, Amos 18.0 통계패키지를 이용한 구조방정식 모형분석으로 연구가설을 검증하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 고객에 대한 배려는 전반적인 서비스품질과 서비스 만족을 통해 충성도에 영향을 주며, 또한 직접적으로 서비스 충성도에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 접촉수준의 차이에 따라 접촉수준이 높은 미용실 서비스에서 고객에 대한 배려의 만족에 대한 영향이 더 크게 나타나는 것을 확인하였다. 즉, 종업원과의 접촉수준이 좀 더 빈번한 서비스에서 종업원의 고객에 대한 배려 행동이 고객 만족을 향상시키는데 중요하다는 것을 확인하였다.

협력학습을 위한 소셜러닝 플랫폼의 설계 (Design of Social Learning Platform for Collaborative Study)

  • 소셜러닝은 미래 지식정보사회의 새로운 학습모델로 기존의 학습과 달리 개인의 능동성과 타인과의 협력학습을 중시한다. 협력학습을 위한 소셜러닝 플랫폼 구축에 기존 소셜미디어 서비스를 활용하는 것이 유용하다. 본 논문에서는 기존 소셜미디어 서비스 및 소셜플랫폼을 조사분석하여 소셜미디어 서비스를 활용한 효과적인 소셜러닝 플랫폼을 제시하고자 한다. 또한 새로운 소셜러닝 플랫폼의 구조 및 설계화면을 통해 소셜러닝 플랫폼의 동작 방법과 다른 소셜 플랫폼에 비해 차이점과 우수성을 제시하고자 한다.
