A Regional Comparative Study on Impact of Social Welfare Service Use on Mental Health Among Elderly Men in The Yeongnam and Honam

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the factors affecting mental health in the use of social welfare services by male elderly, and to provide basic data that are helpful for integrated mental health promotion programs suitable for each region by comparing and analyzing the Yeongnam-Honam. Results: As a result of the analysis, when comparing the two regions, annual income, age, and physical health were found to be the influencing factors among the personal characteristics of male elderly in the Yeongnam, and caring services were found to be the influencing factors of social welfare services. Among the personal characteristics of male elderly in Honam, annual income, age, and physical health were found to be the influencing factors, and caring services were found to be the influencing factors of social welfare services. Conclusion: Based on the results of the study, three implications are presented as follows. First, it suggests that mandatory checkups are required not only for the physical health of male elderly, but also for the mental health. Second, the necessity of social welfare service policies that link health and welfare is presented. Third, the necessity of specialized mental health and welfare services by region is presented.

중국의 사회 연결망 서비스 이용에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Factors Influencing the Use of Social Networking Services in China)

  • China has the largest number of the user of web 2.0 such as messengers and blogs, as of 2008 year. Chinese Internet digital market will grow from $85 billion in 2007 to $264 billion in 2015. The importance of Chinese Internet business is increasing, because of its size and growth potential. This research is focused on following two questions. First, what are the major characteristics of social networking services in China? In order to find out the answer about this question, the case study on Tencent QQ and Sina Poco, the most representative social networking services company in China, was done. And the reason of the use of social networking services, their contents, and the attitude toward the paid service were identified. Second, what are the major factors influencing the use of social networking services in China. User participation, network effect, usefulness, and system quality were inferred as the factors influencing the use. These factors were based on motivation theory, technology acceptance model, and the related research papers. This research model was proved by data analysis using Partial Least Square. As results, the use of social networking services was influenced by usefulness, network effect, user participation, and system quality. But social influence was not significant of the use of social networking services.

다문화 아동의 학교적응 예측요인에 대한 체계적 문헌고찰 (Predictors of School Adjustment among Multicultural Children: Systematic Review)

  • Purpose: The purpose of the study was to synthesize related studies and identify the predictors of school adjustment among multicultural children. Methods: The author searched Google Scholar, RISS, KISS, Naver Academic, NDSL, and the National Assembly Library databases from August 1 to August 8, 2016. Keywords included multicultural, adolescents, school life, and school adjustment. Results: Twenty two studies, from 3,645 screened references, were included and finally analyzed. All studies were prospective studies and used regression analysis. The predictors of school adjustment among multicultural children were children's personal factors and social factors. Children's personal factors consisted of general factors, psychosocial factors, and situational factors. Social factors consisted of parental factors, family factors, teacher factors, and peer factors. Conclusion: The findings suggest that consideration of social factors as well as personal factors of multicultural children, their family, teacher, and peers is needed to improve school adjustment of multicultural children.

  • One of the most important objectives that apparel company will pursue in 21 century is to achieve the critical factors of the sustainability. The concept of sustainability is to meet the demands for the valuable life of contemporary generation and to satisfy the desires for preservation of the species and the productive life of future generation by protecting the earth environment from the waste and pollution and by developing and maintaining harmoniously main economical, social, environmental and cultural factors. The practice of sustainability was focused only on the environmental factors in past. Now, the effective and efficient practice of sustainability should be fulfilled and executed in social factors of the responsibility company has, in economical factors and in the cultural factors that is the critical in fashion industry. The purpose of the study is to develop the practical framework consisting of four sustainable factors which apparel brand should refer and apply to the practice of sustainability. By executing the practical factors of the frameworks, apparel company can take a lot of advantages. By practicing the environmental factors, company can get Eco-efficiency. Apparel company can take the social responsibility by performing social sustainable factors, can make economical quality growth by fulfilling economical sustainable factors, and can understand cultural diversity by executing cultural sustainable factors. As one of the most important preparation in 21 century industry, the apparel brand should have an interest in and require the practical management of sustainability, objective setting and practice of brand unit, reflection on the sustainability in brand planning.

유아의 사회적 능력과 정서지능과의 관계에 대한 연구 (The Relationship between Children's Social Competence and Emotional Intelligence)

  • This study examined the factor structure of social competence and the relationship between social competence and emotional intelligence in preschool children. The subjects were 503 3- to 6-year-old children. Instruments were the Emotional Intelligence Rating Scale for Preschool Children and The Social Competence Scale. The validity and reliability of the factor structures of The Social Competence Scale were confirmed. These factors were initiative, ability, and sociability. The relationship between The Social Competence Scale and the emotional intelligence scale was highly significant (r=.29, p<.001). Three sub-factors of The Social Competence Scale were significantly related to the total emotional intelligence score. Among the six sub-factors of emotional intelligence, 5 were related to the total score of social competence. These were utilization of emotion, empathy, appraisal and expression of self emotion, relationship with teacher, and relationship with peers.

아동이 지각한 사회적 지지 및 귀인 성향과 아동의 자아존중감의 관계 (Relationships among Children's Perceived Social Support, Locus of Control, and Self-Esteem)

  • This study explored the relationship of children's perceived social support and locus of control to their self-esteem. Subjects were 190 5th grade children. Instruments were the revised Coopersmith Self-Esteem Inventory (1967), Dubow and Ullman's Social Support Appraisal Scale (1989), and Crandall's Intellectual Achievement Responsibility (1965). Data were analysed by t-tests and Pearson's correlations. Children with high perceived social support had higher self-esteem than children with low perceived social support. Children who attributed their success to internal factors had high self-esteem; children who attributed their success to external factors had low self-esteem. Successful children who attributed their success to external factors had low self-esteem, regardless of their social support level. Children who attributed their success to their abilities or hard work had high self-esteem only if they received high social support.

민간부문 사회복지사의 보수만족에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Analysis on Factors Influencing Pay Satisfaction of Social Workers in the Private Sector)

  • 본 연구는 민간부분 사회복지사의 보수만족에 영향을 주는 요인을 살펴보고 보수수준을 향상시키기 위한 정책적인 방안을 도출하기 위해 진행되었다. 이에 사회복지사의 보수수준에 대한 전반적인 실태와 수준을 살펴보았고, 보수만족의 영향요인을 분석하였다. 연구에 활용된 분석자료는 2015년 보건복지부와 한국보건사회연구원에서 조사된 원 자료를 이차분석 하였고, 분석방법은 기술분석, 상관관계와 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 주요 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사회복지사는 여성, 고학력, 실무자, 정규직이 많았고 대부분 집단에서 보수에 불만족하였다. 둘째, 보수만족의 영향요인에서 여성, 저연령일수록, 학력수준이 낮을수록, 보수수준이 높을수록, 비정규직에서 보수만족이 높았다. 셋째, 보수만족에 영향을 미치는 주요요인은 보수수준과 후생요인이었다. 넷째, 사회복지사의 보수만족의 영향력을 고려한 실천적, 정책적 함의와 연구의 한계를 담았다.

국내 건설근로자의 생산성 관련 중요 요인 도출 및 중요도 조사 (The Productivity and Importance Factors of Workers in Construction Site)

  • Compared to the other industries, construction industry depends many parts of production activities on manpower. And also 3D perception on construction industry and the shortage of motivation in construction workers are the biggest reason to reduce construction productivity. So to solve this problem, the research of factors which affect more to improve the construction workers attitude in construction site will be needed. This research has investigated that the productivity and important factors was divided to economic factors, social factors, psychological factors. The result show that economic factors remain pre-eminent in influencing productivity, but that social factors and psychological factors appear to be of increasing importance in this construction industry.

커뮤니티케어 활성화를 위한 농촌지역 경로당 이용 노인과 비이용 노인 간 성공적 노화 관련 요인 비교 (A Comparative Study on the Factors Affecting the Successful Aging between Users and Non-users of Kyung-ro-dang for Community Care Policy Activation)

  • Background: The purpose of this study was to identify the status of Successful Aging among the elderly aged 65 and over in rural areas and to compare factors related with Successful Aging between "kyung-ro-dang" users and non-users. Methods: A total of 181 elderly aged 65 or older were selected from four districts (Heung-upri, Mejiri, Sajerri, and Daeanri) of Wonju city. A survey method using face to face interviews was applied to collect information. Successful aging was measured on a 5-point Likert-type scale using the successful aging scale developed for the Korean elderly, which indicates the higher the score, the higher the level of successful aging. Descriptive statistics, bivariate, and multivariate analyses were computed; the level of significance was set at 5%. Hierarchical polynomial regression was applied to find out the factors associated with successful aging. Results: Of the total, 112 elders used kyung-ro-dang and 69 elders who did not use kyung-ro-dang. The level of successful aging of the elderly was higher among kyung-ro-dang users than non-users. The factors related to successful aging among kyung-ro-dang users were walking and social participation. Users who walk more than 4 times per week and social participation activities have a higher level of satisfaction. In the case of non-users, a higher level of monthly income, having a spouse, social support, and social participation associated with a higher level of successful aging. Conclusion: Monthly income, social participation, and social factors were found to be related to successful aging along with physical and mental health conditions among the elderly in rural areas. Therefore, it can be concluded that income, social as well as mental and physical factors, are more critical for successful aging in the rural community care in Korea.

소셜커머스 사이트의 구매결정 요인에 영향을 미치는 디자인 요인 (A Study on the Factory of Design Influencing Purchase Decision-making Factors at Social Commerce Sites)

  • 최근 소셜네트워크를 기반으로 하는 소셜커머스(social commerce)가 각광받고 있다. 소셜네트워크와 연동한 소셜커머스 서비스는 소비자간 고도의 소통 수단이 되고 있으며, 유통방식의 새로운 패러다임을 제시하고 있다. 할인의 폭을 크게 하거나 다양한 이벤트를 통한 거래촉진, 동네의 상권 활성화에 기여하는 등의 역할을 하고 있다. 종래의 온라인 상거래와는 달리 역동성, 신속성, 개방성 등을 특성으로 하는 소셜커머스는 사이트의 디자인이 구매의사결정에 영향을 많이 미칠 수 있다고 전제하였다. 본 연구는 소셜커머스를 사용 중인 20대를 대상으로 실증 연구하였으며, 이를 통해 소셜커머스 사이트의 디자인요인이 구매결정요인에 미치는 영향을 규명하고자 하였다. 연구 결과 구매 의사결정에 가장 많이 영향을 주는 요인은 사용 용이성임을 시사점으로 제시하였고, 소셜커머스 사이트를 설계하거나 업그레이드를 준비 중인 기업 혹은 책임자에게 도움이 될 것으로 판단된다.
