Physicochemical characteristics of rice milled by newly designed abrasive milling machine were studied. Crude protein and crude lipid contents were 7.81∼8.50% and 1.07∼0.95%, respectively, and they showed a tendency to decrease with milling times. However, they showed higher values than that of polished rice. Major fatty acids of crude lipid were palmitic acid, oleic acid, and linoleic acid. Whiteness of tested samples was higher than brown rice but lower than polished rice. The remain rate of rice germ of four pass-through and polished one time sample (FPS) was 39.33%, and it was higher than that of polished rice (4.00%). One thousand grain weight of samples over than three pass-through was significantly different from brown rice (p<0.05). FPS had smooth surface similar to polished rice and it showed some residual rice germ by scanning electron microscopy. Sensory evaluation showed that the taste of three pass-through rice, four pass-through rice, and FPS was not significantly different from polished rice, whereas their color, odor, texture, and overall acceptability had lower score than polished rice but higher than brown rice. Therefore, we estimate that rice ground over three pass-through by newly designed abrasive milling machine might be a good source having nutritive value.
This study was carried out in order to study early histologic changes and repair reaction appling to extrusive force for 3rd premolar of adult dogs. After 1 week of extrusive force with elastic chain, one of dogs was sacrified and after 3 weeks retention period, another dog was sacrified. The paraffin sections of samples were stained with Hematoxylin - Eosin and Masson's Trichrome and were examed by light microscopy . The obtained results as follows 1. In Hematoxylin - Eosin and Masson Trichrome stain of control group , the periodontal ligament width was constant from apical third to cervical third of the root and periodontal fiber arrangement was horizontal or oblique in cervical third. oblique in middle third, oblique in apical third of root. in alveolar bone, smooth appearance was shown 2. In Group 1, all periodontal fiber arrangement was oblique toward tooth, and the periodontal ligament width increased Partially PDL was ruptured in apex. In MT stain, immature bone formation was seen at alveolar crest area. Active bone formation was observed along the one side of alveolus, and apical portion of pulp was involved with blood vessel rupture , vacuolization of pulp tissue and hyperemia 3. In Group 2, most periodontal ligament arrangement and PDL width was repaired and fiber density increased. In MT stain, mineralization of immature bone on the alveolar crest was progressed. In pulp, vacuole and hyperemia was diminished and fibrotic change was diminished 4. After 3 week periodontal ligament has more repair ability than pulp tissue. pulp was involved with vacuolization and fibrosis, so it takes more time for repair.

Microstructures of free surface and interior of glass-ceramics obtained by heat treating silicate glass specimen containing electric arc furnace dust(EAF dust) were observed. The crystallization temperature, $T_c$ of glassy specimen was measured around $850^{\circ}C$ from the result of different thermal analysis so heat treatment temperature to obtain glass-ceramic specimen was selected as $950^{\circ}C$ for 1 hr. Glass specimens containing 50 wt% dust were amorphous, while glass specimens containing 70 wt% dust showed spinel crystal peaks in XRD results. In case of glass-ceramic specimens, spinel crystalline phase was appeared with willemite, and willemite crystal peak intensity increased with increasing dust contents. The fractured surface of glass specimens containing 50 wt% dust was smooth like mirror surface, but that containing 70 wt% dust showed spinel crystals of 10 ${\mu}m$ size in glass matrix. In case of glass-ceramic specimens, ZnO crystal particles of $2{\sim}5{\mu}m$ size were produced in free surface and glassy phase, spinel and willemite crystal phases existed in interior. There were no crystals in glasses containing 50 wt% dust, while glass containing 70 wt% dust had 14 vol% crystals. Crystallinity of glass-ceramic specimens containing 50 and 70 wt% dust were 19 and 43%, respectively. When microstructures of glass and glass-ceramic specimens were observed through SEM after TCLP experiment, glass specimens showed flaking phenomenon while glass-ceramic specimens showed a slight corrosion evidence without any cracks.
The purpose of this study was to find the factors affecting the bum out syndrome and its degree in terms of personal, organizational and clients characteristics, and then to find the ways to reduce or eliminate those factors. The 228 doctors and the nurses who worked at the emergency departments in 6 general hospitals with more than 700 beds in Seoul were surveyed from April 15, 2002 for 15 days. A structured self-recording questionnaire was used; the t-test and ANOVA was used to analyse the median difference between the occupation, and multiple regression was employed to find the factors affecting the bum-out syndrome. The summary of this research analysis is as follows : First, of several variables, the highest frequency of the burn-out was the emotional burn-out followed by lack in personal touch toward the patients, decrease in sense of personal achievement. These results indicate that the doctors and nurses in emergency departments experience higher degree of burn-out than the social workers and the nurses who work at other departments in heath care environment as other studies revealed. Second, the analysis of the total burn-out factors showed the lower self respect, younger age, heavier work load, higher dissatisfaction rate toward remuneration and not-so-smooth relationship with the patients and their relatives the higher burn out rate. These variables explained 54% of the total variables. Third, the nurses experienced more burn-out syndrome than the doctors. The degree of self-respect, work pattern, relationship with the clients, age and remuneration were the causes of the burn-out. The doctors recorded lack in personal touch toward the patients more, while the nurses more to emotional exhaustion. The limitations of this research are the subjective answers of the respondents to certain questions and differences in sample numbers of each hospital in which some reservation can be exercised in explaining statistical significance of the data, and generalizing the conclusion. Despite of its limitation, this research has its own merit as an unpreceded research in this field, and provision of the basic materials to prevent and find causes of the burn-out syndrome among the doctors and nurses in the emergency departments.

The electrochemical etching of silicon in HF-based solutions is known to form various types of porous structures. Porous structures are generally classified into three categories according to pore sizes: micropore (below 2 nm in size), mesopore (2 ~ 50 nm), and macropore (above 50 nm). Recently, the formation of macropores has attracted increasing interest because of their promising characteristics for an wide scope of applications such as microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), chemical sensors, biotechnology, photonic crystals, and photovoltaic application. One of the promising applications of macropores is in the field of MEMS. Anisotropic etching is essential step for fabrication of MEMS. Conventional wet etching has advantages such as low processing cost and high throughput, but it is unsuitable to fabricate high-aspect-ratio structures with vertical sidewalls due to its inherent etching characteristics along certain crystal orientations. Reactive ion dry etching is another technique of anisotropic etching. This has excellent ability to fabricate high-aspect-ratio structures with vertical sidewalls and high accuracy. However, its high processing cost is one of the bottlenecks for widely successful commercialization of MEMS. In contrast, by using electrochemical etching method together with pre-patterning by lithographic step, regular macropore arrays with very high-aspect-ratio up to 250 can be obtained. The formed macropores have very smooth surface and side, unlike deep reactive ion etching where surfaces are damaged and wavy. Especially, to make vertical microwire or nanowire arrays (aspect ratio = over 1:100) on silicon wafer with top-down photolithography, it is very difficult to fabricate them with conventional dry etching. The electrochemical etching is the most proper candidate to do it. The pillar structures are demonstrated for n-type silicon and the formation mechanism is well explained, while such a experimental results are few for p-type silicon. In this report, In order to understand the roles played by the kinds of etching solution and mask patterns in the formation of microwire arrays, we have undertaken a systematic study of the solvent effects in mixtures of HF, dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), iso-propanol, and mixtures of HF with water on the structure formation on monocrystalline p-type silicon with a resistivity with 10 ~ 20 $\Omega{\cdot}cm$. The different morphological results are presented according to mask patterns and etching solutions.
objectives : This research aimed to study the similar effects between Jwahun and Sojucheon_practice, as both Induces to SooSengg-HwaGang(the coordination of water and fire). methods : 141 recipients of the survey was conducted in the Jwahun room of Korean medicine Hospital, which contained to body reaction between the moment of the Jwahun and after the Jwahun. And the result of them compared with the body's response of Sojucheon_practice results : 1. In a survey, 78% of the patients had responses that were sweating. The area sweating a lot in the survey is the face, abdomen, chest and was, in this order, the ratio was high. About feeling of warmth and coolness, survey of those who felt the warmth ratio was 79%, those who did not feel the coolness ratio was 77%, most of the responses were warm bodies. 46% of patients replied that feels warm in the belly. It said the fact that Jwahun directly to the lower body is to warm. 2. Symptoms of congestion of the head on the survey, 78% of investigators did not appeal. Other investigators were responding they were dizzy. Research on pain and itching, but no response was at 84%. Among the responses to the itchiness, itching perineum was 11% of the respondents. The rest was weak. 3. Associated with defecation in the survey, the investigators found that 33% of respondents said fart. Urine is 22% of respondents said. Abdominal reactions, 33% of respondents answered was taking a tone in the abdomen. In response to the whole body reaction, the most relaxing 39% of the respondents said, 22% of respondents replied that the body feel lighter. 4. After Jwahun, belly is warm and cathartic reactions were the most responsive. This said that Jwahun even after, in the lower abdomen lasting warmth as can be seen. Smooth bowel movements disproves the abdominal organs is a good move. It will also be seen in the same context of bowel movements, abdominal response when just doing Jwahun. conclusions : Jwahun activate the meridians and through the perineum stimulation induced imdokmaek(任督脈) SooSengg-HwaGang(水升火降) to enable the training and some Sojucheon can have similar effects.
In order to investigate the impact properties of structural materials for LNG tank, instrumented Charpy impact tests were carried out at cryogenic temperatures. $9\%$ Ni steel showed a superior fracture resistance because of less degradation in toughness until 77 K. From the load-deflection curve obtained by an instrumented methods it was found that with the decrease of temperature from 173 K to 77 K, the peak load in the curve increased, but the total absorbed energy decreased. In addition, the energy absorbed during the crack growth was larger than one absorbed in the process of crack initiation. In SUS304L material, the energy absorbed in the process of the crack initiation was relatively large, but the energy absorbed in the process of crack growth was small, the behavior of absorbed energy was well agreed with the observations of the fracture surface which showed a relatively smooth fracture surface. The absorbed Charpy impact energy in the case of A5083 alloy was lower as compared with other steels, and some cracks were observed along the crack propagation direction at the fracture surface of 77 K.
This study recognized the mutual collaborative characteristics among consultants as important factors in the performance of the government-supported consulting business, and wanted to look at the impact of the cooperative characteristics among consultants on the consulting performance. First, a research model was presented based on theoretical background, hypotheses were set up and surveyed, and hypotheses were verified by multi-circulation analysis. Among the collaboration characteristics among consultants, the most influential was mutual reliable followed by smooth communication, professional competence and role sharing. information sharing was rejected and was found to be relatively less affected than other variables. This can be seen as more important than the quantitative aspect of information sharing because of the collaborative nature of consultants who must work toward common goals. Collaboration among consultants has been positive when carrying out government-funded consulting projects, suggesting that quantitative characteristics should be considered based on the qualitative characteristics based on mutual reliable. In the future, we hope that this data will be useful for identifying collaborative characteristics among consultants when carrying out consulting projects.
Separated flows passed complex geometries are modeled by discrete vortex techniques. The flows are assumed to be rotational and inviscid, and a new techlnique is described to determine the stream functions for linear shear profiles. The geometries considered are the snow cornice and the backward-facing step, whose edges allow for the separation of the flow and reattachment downstream of the recirculation regions. A point vortex has been added to the flows in order to constrain the separation points to be located at the edges, while the conformal mappings have been modified in order to smooth the sharp edges and to let the separation points free to oscillate around the points of maximum curvature. Unsteadiness is imposed to the flow by perturbing the vortex location, either by displacing the vortex from the equilibrium, or by imposing a random perturbation with zero mean to the vortex in equilibrium. The trajectories of passive scalars continuously released upwind of the separation point and trapped by the recirculating bubble are numerically integrated, and concentration time series are calculated at fixed locations downwind of the reattachment points. This model proves to be capable of reproducing the trapping and intermittent release of scalars, in agreement with the simulation of the flow passed a snow cornice performed by a discrete multi-vortex model, as well as with direct numerical simulations of the flow passed a backward-facing step. The results of simulation indicate that for flows undergoing separation and reattachment the unsteadiness of the recirculating bubble is the main mechanism responsible for the intense large-scale concentration fluctuations downstream.
The Korean environmental impact assessment(EIA) system, and explored ways to improve it as a more efficient and viable institution relevant to the demand of our time and conditions in study. The first problem this study identified is found in the fact that the party to write up the assessment report is itself the business operator or the one who is planning to work out the business plan. This structure translates into placing an order with an agent for EIA report. The reporting job may br subcontracted to the agent at a cost far below the rate specified in the 'Standard for Estimate of Agency Fee for Environmental Impact Assessment.' This practice also causes the vicious circle of producing a report that is written to justify the project or business in question or it leads to rough-and ready and poor documentation to minimize the time required. Second, in order to achieve the goal of the plan or business, which is the target of EIA, the local residents tend to ve regarded as an obstacle. This means elimination of the local people from participating in the EIA or their opinion being frequently ignored. This is the seed of distrust and hostility that sometimes provoke disagreements or fierce conflicts. The first proposal to improve these problem is to improve the factors that cause poor documentation of the assessment report as well as improve the understanding of the EIA system. This study proposes the following measures for improvement. The agency cost for EIA should be paid by the business operator or a third party that can ensure faithful implementation of the payment. A system should be established to verify transparent estimation of the agency cost. In order to enhance the professional quality of EIA agents, there should be implementation of qualification test for industrial engineer of related engineers in addition to the current EIA Qualification Test. The second proposal for improvement is to improve the citizen participation process by instituting a legal framework to make clear the purpose of the briefing session for local residents, which is held as a procedure of EIA, and to ensure more positive publicity during the stage of listening to the opinion of the local community. For a smooth and rational communication process, a moderator and a communicator of opinion, as is the case in a public hearing, could be instituted to clearly get the purpose of the briefing session across to the residents and to help to carry out the explanation and Q & A sessions according to the categories of the opinion of the residents. At present, the notification of the public inspection of the draft of the assessment report and briefing session for the residents is made on the newspaper and internet network. But some people have difficulty with access to this method of announcement. A higher participation rate could be secured if a legal provision is added to specify putting up placards in specific places such as the entrance to the place for the briefing session for residents or the building of administrative agencies of the area concerned.
