최신 문화 예술공연 정보 제공 어플리케이션 연구 (A Study of Information About Culture And Art Based On Application)

  • 본 연구는 안드로이드 스마트폰에서 최신 문화 관람 및 정보를 제공하는 App을 개발하여 사용자가 문화생활을 즐기고자 할 때 이 DB를 사용하여 각 뮤지컬, 연극, 영화 별로 사용자가 원하는 정보를 검색하여 열람할 수 있고 또한 리뷰 등록 및 열람이 가능하다. 또한 관리자는 관리자(Administrator)모드로 로그인하여 문화 정보를 관리하고 사용자들의 정보를 확인할 수 있게 함으로써 시스템 관리를 원활이 이루어지게 한다. 또한 사용자는 사용자(User)모드로 로그인을 하여 문화 정보를 열람할 수 있고, 감상평을 기록하고 친구그룹의 추천기능을 통해 신뢰할만한 공연정보를 확인하여 여가생활을 문화 활동으로 즐길 수 있도록 한다.

Feature Selection to Mine Joint Features from High-dimension Space for Android Malware Detection

  • Android is now the most popular smartphone platform and remains rapid growth. There are huge number of sensitive privacy information stored in Android devices. Kinds of methods have been proposed to detect Android malicious applications and protect the privacy information. In this work, we focus on extracting the fine-grained features to maximize the information of Android malware detection, and selecting the least joint features to minimize the number of features. Firstly, permissions and APIs, not only from Android permissions and SDK APIs but also from the developer-defined permissions and third-party library APIs, are extracted as features from the decompiled source codes. Secondly, feature selection methods, including information gain (IG), regularization and particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithms, are used to analyze and utilize the correlation between the features to eliminate the redundant data, reduce the feature dimension and mine the useful joint features. Furthermore, regularization and PSO are integrated to create a new joint feature mining method. Experiment results show that the joint feature mining method can utilize the advantages of regularization and PSO, and ensure good performance and efficiency for Android malware detection.

Kano 모델을 이용한 수정된 중요도-만족도 분석 (A modified Importance-Satisfaction analysis using Kano's model)

  • Importance-Performance Analysis(IPA) is a well-known methodology to find the area for improvement. However, the IPA uses different strategies depending on an attribute falls in either 'Concentrate', 'Keep up', 'Possible overkill', or Low priority' quadrant. Problems can occur when attributes locate near the demarcation lines. To solve this problem of IPA, I suggest a modified importance-satisfaction analysis which integrates the Slack(1994)'s diagonal approach and Kano's ASC(Jang et al., 2012) into Yang(2003)'s Importance-Satisfaction model. For this, I investigated 21 smartphone's quality attributes, which adopted from Song and Park(2012)'s study, and conducted a survey of 280 university students for the results of Kano' model and the importance and satisfaction of the quality attributes. The results show that the proposed model enables the business managers to prioritize the quality attributes for improvement through the interpretation on the continuous diagonal line using the Kano's questionnaire only, without acquiring any additional survey for importance of attributes. Accordingly, it is expected that the newly proposed method will diminish the limitation of the existing IPA. In addition, to test the validity of the ASC, this study conducts a comparative analysis between the Kano's ASC and Tontini(2007)'s method to determine the relative importance of quality attributes.

Comparison between Overview Menu and Text Menu in Smartphone

  • Objective: This study determines which of two types of 2D menu is better on iPhone. Background: Menu systems have been important components in modern graphical user interfaces. Review of menu design studies for human-computer interaction suggests that menu design guidelines for smartphones need to be reappraised. Method: A nested factorial design was used. Twenty-four participants were divided into two groups. The subjects were nested within the menu type. Two types of menus are an overview menu and a text menu. Two different breadth levels are 16 and 64. The participants performed five tasks in each breadth level. A task is defined as locating a product or product class on the deepest level of the hierarchy. An Apple iPhone 2G was used. Results: The results for ANOVA indicated a lack of a significant difference for time to respond between the two types of 2D menus. The overview menu showed the better satisfaction score between the two menu types. Conclusion: Even though the differences were not significant, an overview menu tended to show better performance and preference scores than a text menu that required scrolling. Application: This study can provide menu design guidelines when 2D menus are considered for small displays in a high breadth level.

Hadoop Based Wavelet Histogram for Big Data in Cloud

  • Recently, the importance of big data has been emphasized with the development of smartphone, web/SNS. As a result, MapReduce, which can efficiently process big data, is receiving worldwide attention because of its excellent scalability and stability. Since big data has a large amount, fast creation speed, and various properties, it is more efficient to process big data summary information than big data itself. Wavelet histogram, which is a typical data summary information generation technique, can generate optimal data summary information that does not cause loss of information of original data. Therefore, a system applying a wavelet histogram generation technique based on MapReduce has been actively studied. However, existing research has a disadvantage in that the generation speed is slow because the wavelet histogram is generated through one or more MapReduce Jobs. And there is a high possibility that the error of the data restored by the wavelet histogram becomes large. However, since the wavelet histogram generation system based on the MapReduce developed in this paper generates the wavelet histogram through one MapReduce Job, the generation speed can be greatly increased. In addition, since the wavelet histogram is generated by adjusting the error boundary specified by the user, the error of the restored data can be adjusted from the wavelet histogram. Finally, we verified the efficiency of the wavelet histogram generation system developed in this paper through performance evaluation.

품질의 이원론을 이용한 개선의 우선순위 결정 (Determination of Priority for Improvement Using the Theory of Two-dimensional Quality)

  • The theory of two-dimensional quality, in particular, the Kano model that is developed by the analogy with the M-H theory, has been applied in various industry fields for more than three decades. Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) assumes that the degree of physical fulfilment of quality attributes and the satisfaction of that attribute is linear, and therefore, it is applicable to the traditional one-dimensional attribute, not other quality types defined in the Kano's model such as attractive or must-be attribute. To solve this problem, the current study suggests a new importance-satisfaction analysis using a modified IPA in accordance with the three quality types and a diagonal method introduced by Slack (1999) to determine improvement priority. For this, I investigated 19 smartphone's quality attributes and conducted a survey of 334 university students for the results of Kano's model, which adopted from Song and Park (2012)'s study, and the importance/satisfaction of the quality attributes and the results of the priority for improvement of the 19 quality attributes. The results show that the proposed I-S priority model is better than the conventional IPA based on the comparison results of determination coefficient from the regression analysis of the two models.

  • 최근 스마트폰 카메라의 성능은 디지털 카메라 못지않게 발전하고 있다. 이에 따라 점점 더 많은 사람들이 사진촬영을 하게 되고, 사진 관련 어플리케이션에 대한 관심은 꾸준히 증가하고 있다. 하지만 현재 나와 있는 사진 합성 프로그램은 여러 장의 사진을 배치하는 방법, 기존 이미지를 플러그인 이미지에 포개는 방법 등으로 단순한 합성 프로그램에 머물러 있는 실정이다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 모델은 얼굴 표정에서 추출한 감정을 기반으로 이에 맞는 배경을 합성하고 효과 필터를 적용하여 기존 사진 합성 프로그램보다 다양한 분야에서 활용할 수 있는 확장성을 가진 기법을 제시하였다.

A Speech Homomorphic Encryption Scheme with Less Data Expansion in Cloud Computing

  • Speech homomorphic encryption has become one of the key components in secure speech storing in the public cloud computing. The major problem of speech homomorphic encryption is the huge data expansion of speech cipher-text. To address the issue, this paper presents a speech homomorphic encryption scheme with less data expansion, which is a probabilistic statistics and addition homomorphic cryptosystem. In the proposed scheme, the original digital speech with some random numbers selected is firstly grouped to form a series of speech matrix. Then, a proposed matrix encryption method is employed to encrypt that speech matrix. After that, mutual information in sample speech cipher-texts is reduced to limit the data expansion. Performance analysis and experimental results show that the proposed scheme is addition homomorphic, and it not only resists statistical analysis attacks but also eliminates some signal characteristics of original speech. In addition, comparing with Paillier homomorphic cryptosystem, the proposed scheme has less data expansion and lower computational complexity. Furthermore, the time consumption of the proposed scheme is almost the same on the smartphone and the PC. Thus, the proposed scheme is extremely suitable for secure speech storing in public cloud computing.

Comparison the Mapping Accuracy of Construction Sites Using UAVs with Low-Cost Cameras

  • The advent of a fourth industrial revolution, built on advances in digital technology, has coincided with studies using various unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) being performed worldwide. However, the accuracy of different sensors and their suitability for particular research studies are factors that need to be carefully evaluated. In this study, we evaluated UAV photogrammetry using smart technology. To assess the performance of digital photogrammetry, the accuracy of common procedures for generating orthomosaic images and digital surface models (DSMs) using terrestrial laser scanning (TLS) techniques was measured. Two different type of non-surveying camera(Smartphone camera, fisheye camera) were attached to UAV platform. For fisheye camera, lens distortion was corrected by considering characteristics of lens. Accuracy of orthoimage and DSM generated were comparatively analyzed using aerial and TLS data. Accuracy comparison analysis proceeded as follows. First, we used Ortho mosaic image to compare the check point with a certain area. In addition, vertical errors of camera DSM were compared and analyzed based on TLS. In this study, we propose and evaluate the feasibility of UAV photogrammetry which can acquire 3 - D spatial information at low cost in a construction site.

Implementation of ML Algorithm for Mung Bean Classification using Smart Phone

  • This work is an extension of my work presented a robust and economically efficient method for the Discrimination of four Mung-Beans [1] varieties based on quantitative parameters. Due to the advancement of technology, users try to find the solutions to their daily life problems using smartphones but still for computing power and memory. Hence, there is a need to find the best classifier to classify the Mung-Beans using already suggested features in previous work with minimum memory requirements and computational power. To achieve this study's goal, we take the experiments on various supervised classifiers with simple architecture and calculations and give the robust performance on the most relevant 10 suggested features selected by Fisher Co-efficient, Probability of Error, Mutual Information, and wavelet features. After the analysis, we replace the Artificial Neural Network and Deep learning with a classifier that gives approximately the same classification results as the above classifier but is efficient in terms of resources and time complexity. This classifier is easily implemented in the smartphone environment.
