Implementation of SNS based on an Open Wi-Fi & APPosition Information (Open Wi-Fi와 AP 정보를 이용한 소셜네트워크서비스)

  • Smart phones become popular all over the world recently. At the same time, demand of various additional services, such as SNS by utilizing low-cost reliable Wi-Fi network and position information, is expected to keep growing. In this paper, Implementation of SNS based on an Open Wi-Fi & Position Information was proposed. This service is achieved by constructing an Open Wi-Fi network based on a built AP access information database. And in order to provide durable connection in mobile environment, RSS detect AP switching module and mobile IP are utilized in the proposed service. Furthermore, with the utilization of GPS information of AP, AP providers could delivery various information such as advertisements, promotion events. In addition, it is possible for AP users to communicate with each other, thus a position information based SNS was also proposed in this paper.

  • The most of public services that we use these days is distributed and supplied as 'App' service because of wide spread of smat phones. Especially, since the interest of general citizens about usabilitu of public data has been increased, in case of Seoul, people can reach the data through 'Seoul Open Data Plaza' of 25 regions of Seoul. It becomes possible to construct various throughout this system. Ultimately, in case of users, they are provided many services through their electronic media. Looking at the development and research of public data service, they are mostly focusing on service or building up the service, but the research on visualization of contents is insufficient. This study is suggesting the specific plan and directionality of building public service using the public data which studied in the advanced research, "The user interface platform". Finally. this research is for a right usage of public data in the smart urban environment in near future and providing the practical public service.

  • Head-Up Display, an information-providing display, is a device that provides necessary information through a vehicle window for a driver when driving, with which the driver secures the visibility and acquires information necessary for driving. Head-up displays in early days were mostly installed in imported vehicles but increasingly, being installed in medium and large-sized domestic vehicles, they secures convenience of driving and information acquirement. The information display element of each of currently released brand cars not only has limits in consistency and in displaying interface but also reveals the limitation of a way to apply GUI, being applied to dot reflective form in terms of the technology type. Accordingly, this study draws real time information element described as necessary during driving through case survey and analysis, and aims to provide a user with new GUI guideline through transparent display technology recently developed based on results analyzed with priority of POI(Point of Interest) information.

  • This study focuses on the new teaching assistance robot platform and the cloud-based education service model to support the server. In the client area we would like to use the teacher assistant robot in elementary school classrooms to utilize the language education service platform. Emerging IoT technology will be adopted to provide a comfortable classroom environment and various media interfaces. Extensive precedent review and case study have been conducted to identify basic requirements of proposed service platform. Embedded system and technology for image recognition, speech recognition, autonomous movement, display, touch screen, IR sensor, GPS, and temperature-humidity sensor were extensively investigated to complete the service. Key findings of this paper are optimized service platform with cloud server system and possibilities of potential smart classroom with intelligent robot by adopting IoT and BIM technology.

  • As IoT technology has gained the attention all around the world, the development for various services of healthcare, smart city, agriculture, and defense based on IoT is in progress. However, it is likely that healthcare services based on IoT have a problem of being leaked of patients' biological information by a third party and that risks patients' lives. In this paper, an IoT health care service managing model based on location sensor is proposed, which secures the biological information of a patient and simplifies the procedure to process the treatment and administration steps by using the data resources sensed. Even when an emergency occurs, this proposed model can respond quickly using the location information of the patient, which enables the staff in the hospital to locate the patient in real time. In addition, there is an advantage to minimize the time and the process of care, because the location of the equipment for necessary treatment is possible to be instantaneously located with attached sensors.

  • Today, demand for job training of married immigrants is increasing. This research aims to propose developmental Edu-Tech based on the demand for education contents and the characteristics of multicultural family. Based on analysis such as FGI(focus group interview) and expert interview, this paper presents a four methods for development of EduTech for multicultural people, such as language skills, the recommendation technology of customized training contents, contents design based on gamification and user experience design. This research contributes to the direction of the method to use EduTech as a tool for gaps in education and welfare state.

  • This study aimed to compare the systems of ticketing application programs of three major movie theaters, CGV, Megabox, Lotte Cinema, with each other and evaluate the usability, and find problems to figure out user experiences for more convenient mobile ticketing. Experimental subjects with experiences of using apps of the movie theaters were recruited; First, as a primary task, they reserved movie tickets with each of the movie theater apps; Second, they had in-depth interviews with questions based on the model of Creating Pleasurable Interfaces by Stephen Anderson. As a result, users preferred the composition with information in order in overall, in which ticketing process went smoothly. In particular, users were more satisfied with convenient payment applications. Therefore, as an improving way, it is required to design an interface for users to recognize at a glance and a payment system within an app, not to design separate payment system out of the app. I hope this study will help actively conduct researches to maximize the usability in a way to reserve movie tickets through smartphone apps.

  • For the past half century, researches on human psychology have witnessed the flourish of various research tools in this area. Many psychological measures were developed to get objectified data and this trend has lead to the abundance of quantified results. However, considering subjectiveness and refinements of human experience, the research focused on individual's unique perspectives and explanations is needed also. In this vein, this study proposed the usefulness of photography as a research tool for human psychology. With the wide spread of smart phone, taking photo became the everyday activity for modern people and also a part of a public art. If photo could play an efficient and unique role to study human psychology, the depth and width of human understanding might change dramatically in positive way. Two friendship photos were presented to suggest the possibility of photo as a research tool and final considerations of using photo were suggested briefly.

  • This paper focuses on proposing an alternative solution via identifying the problems that domestic popular magazines encounter in the context of the recession crisis faced by printed media in accordance with the advent of the digital media era. Firstly, current-state investigation and in-depth interviews with editorial staff of the major 4 domestic women's magazines were conducted to analyze their brand positioning and change of direction in facing the rise of smart devices. Secondly, domestic women's magazines were compared with international popular magazines that have been successfully undergoing digitalization. Accordingly, domestic women's magazines lack the know-how to digitalize their publication and show limitations in collaboration, openness, trans-media, and cross-media. As most women's magazines are unprofessionally composed of gossip articles having popular appeal rather than practicality, it is an urgent issue for them to differentiate their contents from competitors.

  • The purpose of this study is to deduce a successful business model of fintech and suggest the business model component in fintech on domestics. Business model has suggested on a strategic levels but it is to a value of corporation. From literature research, we find a conceptual character and its component of business model. The results show that we understand the business model of fintech. We suggest business model of component for a successful entry of market. These results suggest business model canvas by Alexander Osterwalder. This business model consist of 9 blocks - customer segmentation, value proposition, customer relationship, key resource, key activity, key partnership, revenue stream, and cost structure. These components need an analytic approach for a successful entry and settlement of market. Also, we analyze and suggest a fintech business model and directivity of its components.
