Radiofrequency(RF) signal is a key medium to the most of the present wireless communication devices including RF identification devices(RFID) and smart sensors. However, the most critical barrier to overcome in RFID application is in the failure rate in detection. The most notable improvement in the detection was from the introduction of EPC Class1 Gen2 protocol, but the fundamental problems in the physical properties of the RF signal drew less attention. In this work, we focused on the physical properties of the RF signal in order to understand the failure rate by noting the existence of the ground planes and noise sources in the real environment. By using the mathematical computation software, Maple, we simulated the distribution of the electromagnetic field from a dipole antenna when ground planes exist. Calculations showed that the dark area can be formed by interference. We also constructed a test system to measure the failure rate in the detection of a RFID transponder. The test system was composed of a fixed RFID reader and an EPC Class1 Gen2 transponder which was attached to a scanner to sweep in the x-y plane. Labview software was used to control the x-y scanner and to acquire data. Tests in the laboratory environment showed that the dark area can be as much as 43 %. One who wants to use RFID and smart sensors should carefully consider the extent of the dark area.

This study investigates the interactivity of smart LMS. To this end, smart LMS was used for one semester in the English course for economics majors and the surveys about its interactivity were conducted. The findings show that smart LMS enhanced the interaction between instructors and students, between students and students, and between students and learning contents. Especially in the classroom, the activity bulletin made possible the instructor's immediate feedback about team-based activity outcomes. Also, outside the classroom, Wiki made it convenient for students to collaborate with each other. In addition, activity outcomes in the activity bulletin and course materials uploaded on smart LMS contributed to the interactivity. However, what is recommended to do to increase the interactivity are to prepare instructional strategies for students to get used to using smart LMS and smartphones as their learning tool, to test the target systems of smart LMS in advance, and to take proper actions to solve the problems of smartphone's data and battery.

Recently, Korea has been attracting the attention of smart city as a solution to urban problems along with the era of Forth Industrial Revolution. However, tourism, industry, and specific high-class residential complexes are being formed, and the disabled with information such as the elderly and disabled who can actually get help are not experienced. This study establishes the concept of smart city suitable for domestic and derives the priority of physical and non-physical elements of smart city considering information weakness. Smart City considering disabled with information has concluded that not only physical elements but also non-physical components are important, and derive the differences between the experts and the priorities of actual information weak people. We will propose a smart city development direction that takes into account information weak people that can be developed and advanced in response to the needs of information weak people.

In recent years, smart devices have changed the paradigm of education. However, the educational environment and teaching methods could not catch up with this fast improvement and an utmost need for development of educational methods has been realized. In this paper, the general usage of smart devices by elementary school teachers is analyzed and the methods through which smart devices are utilizing smart learning is discussed in the result. A survey of 221 elementary school teachers in Gangwon Province showed that 87.7% of them are currently using smart devices. In addition, teachers were using smart devices with not much difference from ordinary people. The three main motives of teachers who were already using smart devices and those who were planning to take advantage of smart devices were innovativeness, usability and easiness. The reason of need to apply smart devices in education is because of its functionality in various learning types, courses and teaching-learning process methods. Although smart devices have a high efficacy in education but they are not widely utilized yet. In order to solve these problems and be able to take more advantage of smart devices in education, teachers should learn how to use smart devices and a strong sense of willingness is required to make changes in the educational methods. The results of this research on elementary school teachers can be further developed for a greater smart device based smart learning.

This study is for using applications on smart devices at school class which designed by professor himself due to nonexistent of applications which related to textbook or course work even though fast developing smart devices and plenty of educational applications are in rapid ubiquitous environment. That is reason to make a learning environments of study course work anywhere at anytime and also make smooth communication between professor and learner with the smart devices advantages of being free of location and time. Also develop the application with the tools which the computer beginner can handle easily and quickly without contracting the work to commercial firms, it will lead to save money and time, be easily updated and modified from place of study, and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of study.

The Integration technique of combining the measurement method with the fine precision of the sensor collecting the satellite-based information to determine the displacement space is available to a variety of diagnostic information. The measurement method by a GNSS with the sensors is needed since there will always be occasional occurrence of natural disasters caused by various environmental factors and the surroundings. Such attempts carried out nationally by distributed torsional displacement of the terrain and facilities. The combination of the various positioning analysis of mm-class for the facility of main area observed is required constantly in real time information of the USN/IoT Smart sensors and should be able to utilize such information as a precisely fine positioning information for the precisely fine displacement of the semi-permanent main facilities. In this study, for the installation of the receiving system, the USN/IoT base line positioning are easily accessible for the target bridges. Transmitting hourly from the received data is also executed in real time using the wireless Wi-Fi/Bluetooth bridges and related facilities to automatically process a fine position displacement. The results obtained from this method can be analyzed by real-time monitoring for a large structure or facilities for disaster prevention.

With the development of AI, multimedia tools in education offer personalized learning environments, which foster individual competencies. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of smart education as perceived by learners through a case study of university writing classes utilizing multimedia learning tools, and to explore potential applications. To achieve this, a writing course incorporating various multimedia tools to promote interaction was designed and implemented over the course of one semester, targeting 42 university students. Through the semester, student reactions and survey results were analyzed to investigate the effects and satisfaction levels regarding the use of multimedia learning tools in writing instruction as perceived by students. The analysis revealed that multimedia-assisted writing classes effectively fostered learners' autonomy by focusing on individual needs, while also promoting interaction and encouraging spontaneous participation. Students reported recognizing the presence of diverse perspectives by comparing and communicating about each other's writing, leading to an expansion of their own thinking. In using ChatGPT, it was found that students attempted to refine their questions until they obtained the desired answers. They reported that this process deepened their understanding of the essence of the questions. These benefits led to results of high levels of students' active class engagement and satisfaction. This study contributes foundational and empirical data regarding the effectiveness and potential applications of learner-centered smart education as part of fourth industrial revolution integration research.

The purpose of this study is to examine the perceptions and attitudes of pre-service early childhood education teachers about the introduction and utilization of smart education. We selected 262 pre-service early childhood education teachers. The Focus Group Interview and questionnaire were used to measure the perceptions and attitudes about the introduction and utilization of smart education. As a result, most of pre-service early childhood education teachers use smart phones and they use extra two more hours except phone calls. The most frequent usage is text. It is affected to device utilization experience in class, impact on childhood development. FGI results of pre-service early childhood education teachers for the introduction and utilization of smart education were analyzed by 2 subjects, 4 categories, 18 items.
