  • 기존의 표준적인 비구면 방정식보다 고도의 비구면을 훨씬 더 효과적으로 생성해 낼 수 있는 Forbes 비구면 방정식을 활용하여 F/1.8의 스마트폰용 카메라렌즈를 설계하였고 설계목표를 달성하기 위한 설계의 주요 방법론과 설계의 절차적인 과정에 대해서도 설명하였다.

카메라기반의 왜곡이 보정된 흑백 문서 영상 생성 (Distortion Corrected Black and White Document Image Generation Based on Camera)

  • 스캐너 대신 카메라를 이용하여 문서의 사본 영상을 촬영하면 촬영 각도에 따라 기하학적 왜곡이 발생하거나 그림자가 생길 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 카메라로 촬영한 문서 영상으로부터 왜곡을 보정하고 그림자 영향을 제거한 흑백 문서 영상 생성 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 카메라 렌즈의 방사 왜곡으로 인해 휘어진 테두리를 펴거나 촬영 각도에 따라 유입된 문서 외부 영역을 제거하기 위한 기하학적 보정을 위해 2차 미분 필터 기반의 문서 테두리 검출 방안을 마련하였다. 그리고 적응적 이진화 방법으로 그림자를 제거한 흑백 문서 영상을 생성하였다. 제안한 왜곡 보정 흑백 문서 영상 생성 알고리즘을 스마트 폰 카메라로 촬영한 문서 영상들을 대상으로 실험한 결과 우수한 처리 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

Comparison the Mapping Accuracy of Construction Sites Using UAVs with Low-Cost Cameras

  • The advent of a fourth industrial revolution, built on advances in digital technology, has coincided with studies using various unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) being performed worldwide. However, the accuracy of different sensors and their suitability for particular research studies are factors that need to be carefully evaluated. In this study, we evaluated UAV photogrammetry using smart technology. To assess the performance of digital photogrammetry, the accuracy of common procedures for generating orthomosaic images and digital surface models (DSMs) using terrestrial laser scanning (TLS) techniques was measured. Two different type of non-surveying camera(Smartphone camera, fisheye camera) were attached to UAV platform. For fisheye camera, lens distortion was corrected by considering characteristics of lens. Accuracy of orthoimage and DSM generated were comparatively analyzed using aerial and TLS data. Accuracy comparison analysis proceeded as follows. First, we used Ortho mosaic image to compare the check point with a certain area. In addition, vertical errors of camera DSM were compared and analyzed based on TLS. In this study, we propose and evaluate the feasibility of UAV photogrammetry which can acquire 3 - D spatial information at low cost in a construction site.

RFID와 스마트 폰을 이용한 출결관리 시스템 구현 (Implementation of Attendance Management Sysem Utilizing RFID and Smart Phone)

  • This paper implements an effective attendance management and monitoring system utilizing the RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) and Smart phone for student. In this paper, RFID system use 13.56MHz to control the attendance, and we can show that information of RFID and dynamic image through IP camera in Smart phone. We also make up the contents and database utilizing the labview program in computer. Especially, proposed technique can obtain dynamic image by server implementation at real time basis so that it is possible to use simultaneously several Smart phone. From the various and practical experiment, it is confirm that proposed system is useful for attendance management and remotely monitoring.

  • 사회 안전망 제공을 위한 실시간 영상 기반의 협동적 스마트 카메라 네트워크에서는 상황인지 추론 및 처리를 위하여, 스마트 카메라 간에 상황 인지 및 대응을 위한 데이터를 저장 및 전달한다. 특정 이벤트에 대해 카메라가 측정한 값을 다른 상황 데이터 및 추론 결과와 함께 RDB(Relational Data Base)에 저장하고, 해당 정보가 필요한 주변 카메라에 전달한다. 일부 RDB를 온톨로지 RDF(Resource Description Framework) 파일로 변환해 그 결과를 상황인지 추론에 이용한다. 스마트 카메라 간 연동은 ONVIF(Open Network Video Interface Forum) 표준을 따르며, 협동적인 지능형 관제시스템을 이룬다. 데이터 저장 및 전달에 있어서 기밀성과 무결성을 보장하기 위하여 정보보호 기술을 도입하며, 이를 적용한 프로토타입 시스템을 구현하여 오버헤드에 대한 분석을 수행하였다.

Implementation on Surveillance Camera Optimum Angle Extraction using Polarizing Filter

  • The surveillance camera market has developed and plays an important role in the field of video surveillance. However, in recent years, the identification of areas requiring surveillance has been limited by reflective light in the surveillance camera market. Cameras using polarization filters are being developed to reduce reflective light and facilitate identification. Programs are required to automatically adjust polarization filters. In this paper, we proposed an optimal angle extraction method from surveillance cameras using polarization filters through histogram analysis. First of all, transformed to grayscale to analyze the specifications of frames in multiple polarized angle images, reducing computational throughput. Then we generated and analyzed a histogram of the corresponding frame to extract the angle when the highlights are the fewest. Experiments with 0˚ and 90˚ showed high performance in extracting optimal angles. At this point, it is hoped this technology would be used for surveillance cameras in place like beach with a lot of reflective light.

저가 카메라를 이용한 스마트 장난감 게임을 위한 모형 자동차 인식 (Recognition of Model Cars Using Low-Cost Camera in Smart Toy Games)

  • Recently, there has been a growing interest in integrating physical toys into video gaming within the game content business. This paper introduces a novel method that leverages low-cost camera as an alternative to using sensor attachments to meet this rising demand. We address the limitations associated with low-cost cameras and propose an optical design tailored to the specific environment of model car recognition. We overcome the inherent limitations of low-cost cameras by proposing an optical design specifically tailored for model car recognition. This approach primarily focuses on recognizing the underside of the car and addresses the challenges associated with this particular perspective. Our method employs a transfer learning model that is specifically trained for this task. We have achieved a 100% recognition rate, highlighting the importance of collecting data under various camera exposures. This paper serves as a valuable case study for incorporating low-cost cameras into vision systems.

Real-time Auto Tracking System using PTZ Camera with DSP

  • In this paper we proposed a PTZ camera system which automatically detect and track moving objects in the image. Once a moving object is detected the PTZ camera traces it in real-time. We proposed the control system which does not depend on camera focusing functionality but uses the object's center, moving direction, distance and speed. We implemented the system with the TI DM6446 DSP chip. The experimental result shows that the system has excellent performance for high speed vehicles.

Indoor Surveillance Camera based Human Centric Lighting Control for Smart Building Lighting Management

  • The human centric lighting (HCL) control is a major focus point of the smart lighting system design to provide energy efficient and people mood rhythmic motivation lighting in smart buildings. This paper proposes the HCL control using indoor surveillance camera to improve the human motivation and well-beings in the indoor environments like residential and industrial buildings. In this proposed approach, the indoor surveillance camera video streams are used to predict the day lights and occupancy, occupancy specific emotional features predictions using the advanced computer vision techniques, and this human centric features are transmitted to the smart building light management system. The smart building light management system connected with internet of things (IoT) featured lighting devices and controls the light illumination of the objective human specific lighting devices. The proposed concept experimental model implemented using RGB LED lighting devices connected with IoT features open-source controller in the network along with networked video surveillance solution. The experiment results are verified with custom made automatic lighting control demon application integrated with OpenCV framework based computer vision methods to predict the human centric features and based on the estimated features the lighting illumination level and colors are controlled automatically. The experiment results received from the demon system are analyzed and used for the real-time development of a lighting system control strategy.

  • 스마트기기 시대가 도래함에 따라, 최근 스마폰과 관련한 많은 응용 서비스들이 개발되고 있으며, LBS(Location Based Service) 기술은 위치 기반 서비스를 제공하기 위해 가장 중요한 기술 중의 하나로 인식되고 있다. 일반적으로 스마트폰의 위치인식은 GPS(Global Positioning System), G-Sensor와 같은 위치 인식 시스템 및 센서를 이용하여 위치 정보를 획득하게 된다. 그러나 실내에서는 위성으로부터의 GPS 신호를 수신하기가 거의 불가능하므로 실내 환경을 위한 새로운 LBS 기술이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 LED 조명과 스마트폰의 카메라 센서를 이용한 위치정보 송수신기를 제안한다. 제안 위치 인식 시스템의 실용성 검증을 위해 실험실 환경에서의 실험을 통해 그 가능성을 입증하였다.
