필름 및 tissue equivalent 팬톰을 이용한 NEC LINAC 6 MVX 소조사면에 대한 선량분포 측정 (Measurement of Dose Distribution in Small Fields of NEC LINAC 6 MVX Using Films and Tissue Equivalent Phantoms)

  • 본 논문의 목적의 NEC LINAC 6 MVX 선의 소조사면에 대한 선량분포를 복잡한 물팬톰 및 ion chamber대신 film 및 고체 물팬톰을 이용하여 간단히 측정하고 분석하는 시스템을 개발하는 데 있다. 단일 선속측정을 위하여 필름과 고체 물팬톰이 이용되었으며, 측정된 데이타는 percent depth dose (PDD), off-axis ratio (OAR) 등을 포함하며, 한변이 1, 2, 3cm의 정사각형 소조사면에 대하여 측정이 이루어 졌다. 또한 Output factor측정은 ion chamber로 측정되었으며, 필름에 의하여 측정된 PDD, OAR 등은 ion chamber측정기로 측정된 값과 비교 검토되었다. 필름으로 부터 측정된 PDD값으로 부터 환산식을 이용하여 tissue maximum ratio (TMR) 값을 얻었으며, 본 실험에서 얻어진 TMR, OAR 값들은 같은 에너지를 나타내는 Philips LINAC의 선량 데이타와 유사한 결과를 보여주었다. 고체 물팬톰 및 필름을 이용한 소조사면 측정은 간편하고도 유용한 방법이었으며, 특히, 자체 개발된 필름팬톰은 뇌정위적 방사선 수술을 위한 OAR 선량을 측정하는 데 유용하였다.

열전모듈을 이용한 에어컨의 방열부 냉각특성에 대한 연구 (Cooling Characteristics at Hot Side of the Thermoelectric Module for an Air Conditioner)

  • A small air conditioner using thermoelectric module has been designed and built. Three types of cooling methods, such as air cooling, closed-loop water cooling, and evaporative cooling, for hot side of thermoelectric module have been investigated. Among three types of cooling method, the evaporative cooling method is seen to be the most effective to achieve the steady state operation of a thermoelectric air conditioner The system performance with evaporative cooling method are also studied in detail for several oprating parameters, such as input power to the thermoelectric module, water or air flow rate at the hot side, and air flow rate at the cold side. The results obtained indicate that the cooling capacity of a system is increased with an increase in the input power to the thermoelectric module while the system COP is decreased. It is also found that the optimal air flow rate as well as water flow rate at the hot side is needed for the best system performance at a liven operating condition. Both the system COP and cooling capacity are increased as the air flow rate at cold side is increased.

  • 레이더 리프렉터를 소형어선, 어망 부이, 어업용 바지선 등에 장착할 경우 최적설치 위치를 결정하기 위한 최적화 시스템의 개발이 필요하다. 최적화 시스템을 개발하기 위한 기본 단계로써 소형어선, 어망 부이, 어업용 바지선 등이 파랑에 의하여 어떠한 응답 특성을 나타내는지 정확하게 파악해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 먼저 해양 부유체식 어업용 바지선 구조물을 대상으로 파랑에 의한 거동을 해석하고자 한다. 어업용 바지선 구조물의 파랑 중 응답특성을 파악하기 위하여 각종 영향인자, 즉 파의 길이, 수심, 입사하는 파의 방향 등이 바지선의 응답에 미치는 영향에 대하여 검토한다. 이러한 응답 특성을 토대로 어업용 레이더 리프렉터를 바지선이나 소형 선박에 설치하였을 경우 파랑에 의한 영향이 레이더 반사 면적에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 파악하는 기초자료로 사용하고자 한다.

소하천수계의 단위유량도 유도 및 비교에 관한 수문학적 고찰 (Hydrological Studies on the Comparison and the Derivation of Unit Hydrography in the small River Systems.)

  • This studies were conducted to derive synthetic unitgraphs and triangular unitgraphs correlated with watershed characteristics which can be used to the estimation and control of flood for the rational development of Agricultural water resources. Derived Synthetic unitgraphs and Triangular unitgraphs can be applied to the ungaged watersheds were compared with average unitgraphs by observed data. Seven small watersheds were selected as studying basins Han, Geum, Nakdong, Yeongsan and Inchon river system. The results summarized for these studies are as follows: 1. Average unitgraphs by observed data and dimensionless unitgraphs for synthesis were derived for all river systems. 2. Peak discharge per unit area of the unitgraph, qp, was derived as qp=10-0.389-0.0424Lg with a high significance. 3. Formulas for the base width of unitgraph of 50 and 75 percent for peak flow for each water systems was adopted as Table 5. 4. The base length of the unitgraph, Tb, in hours in connection with time to peak, Tp, in hours was expressed as Tb =4.3Tp. 5. Peak discharge, Qp, were obtained as Table 6 by the Triangular form to all subwatersheds. 6. Relative errors in the peak discharge of the synthetic unitgraphs showed to be 7.3 percent to the peak of observed average unitgraphs except errors of peak discharge for Yeongsan river system. This indicates that Synthetic unitgraphs for the small watersheds of Han, Geum, Nakdong and Inchon river systems can be applied to the ungaged watersheds. On the other hand, It was confirmed that the accuracy of Instantaneous Unit Hydrograph with only 1.6 percent as relative errors was approaching more closely to the observed average unitgraph than that of synthetic unitgraph with relative errors. 23.9 percent for Yeongsan river system. 7. Errors in the peak discharge of the triangular unitgraph to the observed average unitgraph showed to be 0.6 percent to 7.5 percent which can be regarded as a high precision within the range of 200 to 500$\textrm{km}^2$ in area. On the contrary, application of triangular unitgraph within the range of 200$\textrm{km}^2$ in area has defined as a unsuitable method because of high relative errors, 26.4 percent to 61.6 percent.

실시간 수문관측자료에 의한 돌발 홍수예경보 시스템 -중랑천 유역을 중심으로- (Flood Forecasting and Warning System using Real-Time Hydrologic Observed Data from the Jungnang Stream Basin)

  • 본 연구에서는 도달시간이 짧은 중소하천유역에서 돌발홍수 발생시 강우에 따른 하천의 수위변화를 신속하고 간편하게 예측하는 홍수예경보 모형을 제시하고 그 적정성을 중랑천 유역에 대해서 검토하였다. 이를 위하여 먼저, 제방안전도 평가와 침수위험구역 조사를 통해 홍수방어목표지점으로 선정하였다. 강우량 및 관측지점수위와 홍수방어 목표지점 수위와의 상관성 분석을 하였으며, 이로부터 홍수방어목표(예보지점)지점의 수위변화를 예측할 수 있는 회귀모형을 산정하였다. 이 때 기초자료로서의 실제강우 조건에 따른 실측 수위자료는 그 범위와 조건의 수가 너무 작음으로, 이를 대신하여 다양한 강우시나리오별 유출분석을 통하여 홍수위들을 산정하고 이를 상관성 분석의 모집단 자료로 사용하였다. 산정된 회귀모형으로부터 적정 선행예보시간에 대한 수위를 산정하고 기상보정계수를 고려하여 예측수위를 보정 결정하는 방안을 제시하였다. 예측수위가 주위보수위(Flood watching level; 계획홍수량의 50 %의 수위)를 초과하는 경우에 예경보를 수행할 수 있는 시스템을 구성하였으며, 실제 호우사항에 대하여 그 적용성을 검토하였다.

  • 선박의 다양화와 부두의 제한성으로 인하여 수심이 얕은 수역이나 협소한 부두에 접안 시 소형계류시설 및 부유체를 이용하여 해상 공간을 활용하고 있다. 이를 통하여 다양한 장소에서 접안이 가능하며 나아가 상당한 비용절감 효과를 가질 수 있다. 그러나 소형계류 및 부유체를 활용한 선박의 접안 시 파랑에 의해 부유체와 선박간 충격이 발생할 수 있고 이러한 충격이 대형사고로 발생할 수 있는 위험이 상존함에 따라 계류재 및 부유체의 파랑에 의한 움직임 예측과 분석이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 계류재 및 부유체 운동해석을 위한 3차원 운동 정보와 가속도를 측정함으로써 거동 특성에 대한 기초 자료를 제공하는 계측시스템을 개발하였고, 이 시스템의 구성 및 원리 등에 대하여 소개하고자 한다.

수리계산 적용을 위한 스프링클러설비의 화재안전기준 개선방안 연구 (An Improvement Study on National Fire Safety Code of Sprinkler System for Hydraulic Calculation Application)

  • There are two kinds of design process for sprinkler system. one is pipe schedule system and the other is hydraulically designed system. We have inefficient results when we design by hydraulically designed system because the design process for sprinkler system is restricted by domestic fire code. Therefore, it is essential to do an introduction of hydraulically designed system which is based on engineering for enhancing reliability and efficiency of sprinkler system. This study presents points at issue by comparing and studying design standards of sprinkler system from Korea, Japan and NFPA, and presents improvement plans of national fire safety code of sprinkler system by processing, comparing and analyzing designs according to piping schedule and hydraulically designed system about domestic objects. Installation standards of sprinkler system have to be applied not by object buildings but by hazard classification. It is hard to design an efficient sprinkler system for fire control when water supply requirement of sprinkler systems allocated according to a size of a building because the same purpose but other buildings may request more water requirement or less. We should sublate the pipe schedule system from national fire safety code and need to introduce the hydraulically designed system. The pipe schedule system presents easy access because it is based on the forecasted engineering calculations but it is applied to only small buildings like NFPA due to its low reliability.

Development of a Wave Absorbing System Using a Liquefied Sandbed

  • A new wave-absorbing system, called the liquefied sandbed wave barrier (LSWB) system, is currently under development at the Port and Airport Research Institute (PARI) of Japan. The wave damping effect by the LSWB system is substantial, as confirmed by small-scale experiments and FEM numerical calculations, i.e., the wave transmission coefficient of the system is less than 0.2. Here, the results of large-scale experiments arediscussed in view of practical application. Although the LSWB system provides high wave damping, nearly equal to theoretical values, difficulty exists in obtaining a homogeneously liquefied sandbed, due to the occurrence of liquefied sandbed compaction by cyclic wave loading, which in turn, reduces excess pare pressure and the wave damping effect. These two phenomena primarily occur when the sandbed is composed of fine sand with small permeability. Based on experimental results, we propose a design method that includes countermeasures against such problems, and a prototype LSWB system is constructed in a very large wave flume at PARI. Wave damping by the prototype LSWB system is confirmed to be quite stable and high, as predicted by theoretical calculations.

MBR과 IPNR을 이용한 소규모 하수처리 시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on a Small-scale Wastewater Treatment System Using MBR and IPNR)

  • In the purpose of this study, we investigate the characteristics of the pilot-scale wastewater treatment system applied to BAF, MBR and IPNR as examining the removal efficiency of organic pollutants and operating factors in small decentralized wastewater treatment systems, and operating factors. For long-term operation period of more than nine months, pilot-scale plant operating results appeared very stable. This results were the removal efficiency of BOD was 80.3% above and removal efficiency of COD with an average of about 91.0%, satisfied the final effluent water quality standards. TN in the final effluents was the average concentration of 7.9 mg/L, was satisfactory water quality standards 10 mg/L of TN.

정류기형 다이오드를 이용한 반도체 방사선 검출 장치의 제작과 그 응용에 관한 연구 (The Construction of Solid State Detector System Using Commercially Available Diode and Its Application)

  • The solid state detector system was constructed using commercially available rectifier diode for the assessment of quality assurance in radiotherapy. Dosimetry system which consists of the electrometer and the water phanton was used for measuring small field size scanning. The measured results, which had linearity in accordance with variation of radiation dose for gamma-ray of Co- 60 and 6 and 10MV photons of linear accelerator, showed quite linear characteristics within 1% error. The percent depth dose of 10MV photon of Mevatron KD linear accelerator was measured in small field size using diode, and the results were compared with that of using ion chambers. The results show that the difference of percent depth dose between the value of diode and that of ion chamber was negligible in large field size. However, in small size less than 4$\times$4cm, the difference of percent depth dose estimated by diode and ion chamber was 4.7% by extrapolation to 0$\times$0cm. Considering the smaller volume of diode than that of ion chamber, it might be more reliable to use diode for estimating percent depth dose. Above results suggest that diode can be used for routine check such as beam profile, flatness, symmetry and energy
