The number of small businesses being founded nationally is constantly increasing and various kinds of aggressive efforts are being made to remain competitive. As such, political support by the government for small businesses that have great productivity and competitiveness must increase. The founding of small businesses is being promoted by the government in order to boost the economy, and interest in founding new businesses is high amongst not only college students, but even general workers. Thus, the purpose of this study is to examine problems regarding the founding of small businesses, and to give new businesses a competitive edge by presenting political answers to these problems. After analyzing the status of current issues concerning the foundation of small businesses, this paper suggests some positive policy alternatives. Existing studies on small businesses were focused on the promotion of small and medium distributors, and studies on policy alternatives aimed directly at promoting the businesses are, so far, insufficient. Further studies are required to examine political alternatives from the perspective of the roles of non-profit organizations, which the Government is responsible for, in supporting small business.

Five lignan glycosides, seven megastigmane glycosides, and seven phenolic compounds were isolated by repeated column chromatography from the MeOH extract of Salsola komarovii. Their structures were determined to be lariciresinol-9-O-${\beta}$-$\small{D}$-glucopyranoside (1), alangilignoside C (2), conicaoside (3), (+)-lyoniresinol 9'-O-${\beta}$-$\small{D}$-glucopyranoside (4), (8S,8'R,7'R)-9'-[(${\beta}$-glucopyranosyl)oxy]lyoniresinol (5), blumenyl B ${\beta}$-$\small{D}$-glucopyranoside (6), blumenyl A ${\beta}$-$\small{D}$-glucopyranoside (7), staphylionoside D (8), icariside $B_2$ (9), (6R,9S)-3-oxo-${\alpha}$-ionol ${\beta}$-$\small{D}$-glucopyranoside (10), 3-oxo-${\alpha}$-ionol 9-O-${\beta}$-$\small{D}$-apiofuranosyl-($1{\rightarrow}6$)-${\beta}$-$\small{D}$-glucopyranoside (11), blumenol B 9-O-${\beta}$-$\small{D}$-apiofuranosyl-($1{\rightarrow}6$)-${\beta}$-$\small{D}$-glucopyranoside (12), benzyl 6-O-${\beta}$-$\small{D}$-apiofuranosyl-${\beta}$-$\small{D}$-glucopyranoside (13), canthoside C (14), tachioside (15), isotachioside (16), biophenol 2 (17), 2-(3,4-dihydroxy)-phenyl-ethyl-${\beta}$-$\small{D}$-glucopyranoside (18), and cuneataside C (19) by spectroscopic methods. All the isolated compounds 1 - 19 were reported from this source for the first time. Compounds 2, 3 and 6 upregulated NGF secretion to $118.8{\pm}3.6%$, $128.2{\pm}9.3%$ and $111.1{\pm}7.1%$ without significant cell toxicity.
The effects of raw and processed small black soybean powders on dietary fiber content and gastrointestinal function in rats were investigated. The crude oil, protein, and ash contents of raw small black soybean powder were not significantly different from those of processed small black soybean powders. The germination process increased soluble and insoluble dietary fiber contents significantly, as compared to raw small black soybean powder. The germinated small black soybean powder diet led to a significantly different food intake than the basal diet in both normal and loperamide-induced constipated rats. The body weight gains of the experimental groups, however, were not significantly different from that of the basal diet groups for both the normal and loperamide-induced rats. The gastrointestinal transit times and fecal weights for normal and loperamide-induced rats consuming the processed small black soybean powder diet were significantly different from those on a basal diet. These results suggest that the processes of cooking and germinating the small black soybean might contribute to acceleration of fecal excretion in both experimental normal and constipation model rats.

The study is devoted to substantiation of directions of intensification of development of small innovative enterprise, which has a significant impact on the overall innovation activity of the country and promotes innovative development, transition to more advanced technological systems. The outlined role of small business in innovative development in the direction of intensifying innovation in the economy, improving organization and production, as well as in the form of direct participation in the innovation process, production of science-intensive products, stimulating demand for innovation. A group of factors hindering the development of small innovative entrepreneurship was identified, including: financial aspects of the activity, shortcomings of organizational and communicative nature, underdeveloped technology market, information plan problems, internal production problems of small business, market problems. The directions of intensification of the development of small innovative entrepreneurship are substantiated, namely: financial and credit support of small innovative entrepreneurship; introduction of tax incentives; material and technical support; nationwide intensification of innovation activity; information support; development of innovation infrastructure. The involvement of the outlined directions of intensification of small innovative entrepreneurship will help to obtain a synergistic effect of innovative development of both small innovative business structures and the economy as a whole.
Small cell carcinoma of the lung is characterized by cells with finely stippled chromatin and scanty cytoplasm as well as a particularly aggressive clinical course and favorable response to the chemotherapy. Recently percutaneous fine needle aspiration (FNA) biopsy has become both widely established and highly respected for the diagnosis of lung cancer. However metastatic small cell carcinoma of lymph node should be cytologically differentiated from the small round cell tumor of particular sites, especially malignant lymphoma, because small ceil carcinoma of classic oat cell type nay simulate small cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. We report five cases of metastatic small cell carcinoma of in-termediate cell type diagnosed by FNA of the enlarged lymph nodes of the neck and axilla. The cytologic smears contained diffuse small neoplastic cells larger than lymphocytes with dense, pyknotic nuclei and extremely scanty cytoplasm. Apparently viable large tumor cells have vesicular nuclei with granular, sometimes very coarse chromatin. The characteristic cytologic features of small cell carcinoma as compared to malignant lymphoma were as follows.: 1) small cells with dense pyknotic nuclei are evenly distributed in the background of apparently viable larger tumor cells, admixed with mature lymphocytes and phagocytic macrophages. 2) small loose aggregates of cells with nuclear melding are indicative of small cell carcinoma rather than non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. 3) the cytoplasmic and nuclear fragments of tumor necrosis are more dominant in the smears of small cell carcinoma. 4) nuclear membrane and nucleoli are generally indistinct in small cell carcinoma due to condensation of chromatin.
In Long Term Evolution (LTE) cellular networks, the transmit power control (TPC) mechanism consists of two parts: the open loop (OL) and closed loop. Most cellular networks consider OL/TPC because of its simple implementation and low operation cost. The analysis of OL/TPC parameters is essential for efficient resource management from the cellular operator's viewpoint. In this work, the impact of the OL/TPC parameters is investigated for homogeneous small cells and heterogeneous small-cell/macrocell network environments. A mathematical model is derived to compute the transmit power at the user equipment, the received power at the eNodeB, the interference in the network, and the received signal-to-interference ratio. Using the analytical platform, the effects of the OL/TPC parameters on the system performance in LTE networks are investigated. Numerical results show that, in order to achieve the best performance, it is appropriate to choose ${\alpha}_{small}=1$ and $P_{o-small}=-100dBm$ in a homogenous small-cell network. Further, the selections of ${\alpha}_{small}=1$ and $P_{o-small}=-100dBm$ in the small cells and ${\alpha}_{macro}=0.8$ and $P_{o-macro}=-100dBm$ in the macrocells seem to be suitable for heterogeneous network deployment.
Modular multilevel converter (MMC)-based high-voltage direct current (HVDC) presents attractive technical advantages and contributes to enhanced system operation and reduced oscillation damping in dynamic MMC-HVDC systems. We propose an advanced small-signal multi-terminal MMC-HVDC based on dynamic phasors and state space for power system stability analysis to enhance computational accuracy and reduce simulation time. In accordance with active and passive network control strategies for multi-terminal MMC-HVDC, the matchable small-signal stability models containing high harmonics and dynamics of internal variables are conducted, and a related theoretical derivation is carried out. The proposed advanced small-signal model is then compared with electromagnetic-transient and traditional small-signal state-space models by adopting a typical multi-terminal MMC-HVDC network with offshore wind generation. Simulation indicates that the advanced small-signal model can successfully follow the electromechanical transient response with small errors and can predict the damped oscillations. The validity and applicability of the proposed model are effectively confirmed.

To retain valuable resources, organisms adopt several strategies including coprophagy. Cells covering the outer skin and internal digestive lumen are actively recycled to maintain their integrity. In present study, we suggested that the small intestine can consume dead cells in a manner similar to how it consumes protein from the diet. We examined the eluates from five segments of the mouse small intestine and cecum and 2 segments of the large intestine and small intestine tissue, and detected immunoreactivity with eukaryotic caveolin-1 and β-actin antibodies only in the cecum and 2 segments from the large intestine. Bacterial agitation of the mouse intestine with Shigella disrupted the architecture and absorptive function of the small intestine. Small intestine eluates were immunoreactive with murine caveolin-1 and contained heme as determined by dot blot analysis. We concluded that the body conserves resources in the small intestine by disposing of and recycling shedded cells.
Households of today tend to gradually change from a large household to a small one. The tendency starts from urban concentration of population with modern industrial society. Small-sized households have rapidly increased with the following three reasons: (i) one-person households with aging society, (ii) individualistic pursuit of happiness, and (iii) emergence of single households due to high prices and a decline in the quality of life. With these social changes, various products for small-sized households have been created and there have also been changes in dwelling patterns with small-size housing and one rooms increasing. Current small-sized living space has combined space of a living room, a bedroom and a kitchen, which makes a house compositive space. A bathroom, however, requires a differentiated suggestion from existing one since it is special space where water is used. Based on this issue, this study intends to present bathrooms in small-sized living space.
