소집단활동(小集團活動)의 활성화(活性化)에 관한 실증적(實證的) 연구(硏究) (An Empirical Study on the Activation of Small Group Activities)

  • Small group activity in Korea was introduced from the United States as QC circle, ZD group movements and the like, but it has developed into a Korean style from so-called factory saemaul panel activities contributing much to the management of enterprises. Based on human motivation theory, the principles to activate small group activity is suggested on which a new diagnosis of small group activity is proposed here. It is consisted of checklist and radarchart. The factor to activate small group activity have been obtained in terms of multivariate analysis for data from the new diagnosis.

  • The first national QC Circle Convention sponsored by Industry Advancement Administration in 1975 was the beginning of employees group activity from a national point view. Subsequently some events such as the first nationwide Factory Seamaul activity small Group Convention, which was supervised by the ministry of Trading and Industry and Factory Seamanulundong promotion Center, paved the way for proliferation of the group activity through all kinds of manufacturing. Although since November 1982 these two conventions has been united, many problem have been disclosed that are against the basic principle more or less. Worker's small group activity is, essentially, a trouble shooting oriented voluntary small group within their working place to improve the surroundings creatively. In practice, however, many groups are so typical and so impetuous of the material effect that it is worried to be inclined to outform rather than contents. Effective small group activities are presumed to he successful only with labor management cooperation on the basis of human-oriented management philosophy. The small group activities are also prevalent in service sector. More derivative methods have been developed and more members are willingly participating in training programs. The small group which is basically a horizontal organization unit, promotes communication within the whole organization. In consideration of the social circumstances and traditions, the flexible model of the small group activities suitable to the corporate environment, will contribute to industrial development.

  • This paper proposes performance measurement method of quality small-group activity in business. This paper collects and analyzes quality circle activities data respect to tangible and intangible effect in national quality circles competitions festival. This paper proposes QPI (quality-circle performance index) based on Balanced Scorecard for quality small-group activity in quality improvement area. QPI is to measure the performance of quality improvement activities in the business firms. QPI is able to use widely in industries to provide a performance measure of quality small-group activity. In this paper, we propose the application method of QPl.

과학 영재들의 학습양식에 따른 소집단 구성이 언어적 상호작용에 미치는 영향 탐색 (Exploring the Effects of Grouping by Learning Style of Gifted-Student in Science on the Verbal Interaction)

  • 최근 소통과 협업을 통해 문제를 탐구할 수 있는 인재 양성에 대한 요구가 증가함에 따라 과학 영재교육에서 소집단 활동에 대한 중요성이 강조되고 있다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 효과적인 소집단 구성 방안을 모색하기 위하여, 과학 영재들의 학습양식에 따른 언어적 상호작용의 특징을 분석하고, 학습양식에 기반한 소집단 구성이 소집단 활동의 상호작용에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 조사하였다. 이를 위하여 경쟁형, 협동형, 의존형 학습양식과 협동형, 협동형, 의존형 학습양식을 지닌 6명의 과학 고등학교 학생들을 각각 소집단 1과 소집단 2로 구성하였다. 연구 결과, 소집단 1의 경우 상호작용의 질적 수준이 낮은 비대칭적 형태의 상호작용이 나타난 반면, 소집단 2에서는 상호작용의 질적 수준이 높은 대칭적 형태의 상호작용이 나타났다. 즉, 소집단 1보다 소집단 2에서 심층적 상호작용의 빈도가 높았고, 학생들이 소집단 활동에 동등하게 참여하는 모습을 나타냈다. 이와 같은 결과는 학생들의 학습양식을 고려한 소집단 구성 방법이 소집단 활동의 참여 여부나 상호작용의 질적 수준 등에 중요한 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 의미한다. 이에 대한 교육적 함의를 논의하였다.

  • Rarely can it be anticipated that such a quality system as "Small group activity" of Japanese companies can be infused and placed as it is into Korean companies without any modification or troubles, as above two nations have developed and furnished their own social and cultural backgrounds. 소집단 논의활동을 강조한 과학실험수업이 과학성취도 및 과학적 태도에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Scientific Experimental Classes Emphasized Small Group Argument Activities on Science Achievement and Scientific Attitudes)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine what effects the experiment class to stress discussion of small groups in scientific experiment class of the elementary school has on scientific achievement and attitude on the science of the students comparing to the usual scientific experiment class. For that purpose, this study has divided 49 students at the 6th grade of the M elementary school in P City into test groups of 24 students and control groups of 25 students. Classes have been progressed by giving sufficient time to the test groups for discussion by each small groups after experiment while by allowing the control groups to finish the experiment with arrangement of the experiment results. Conclusions of this study include: First, the more familiar the experiment materials are and the easier the experiment procedures are to be operated by the students, the more actively the small group discussion activities have been deployed. It shows that the students need a certain level of background knowledge before experiment for vital discussing activities. Second, it is appeared that the test groups given the scientific experiment class stressing small group discussing activity have significantly high scores comparing to the control groups given the existing scientific experiment class. It shows that the small group discussing activities have effects on promoting understanding of the students on the scientific achievement for the scientific experiment class. Third, it is appeared that the test groups given the scientific experiment class stressing small group discussing activity significantly high scores on attitude about the science comparing to the control groups given the existing scientific experiment class. It is considered that the students could have opportunities to compare their own thoughts with others and to have reflective thought to change their thoughts through the small group discussing activity. As shown above, it shows that the experiment class to stress discussing activities is more effective to increase scientific achievement and attitude about the science than the scientific experiment class to get and arrange the experiment results from the existing experiment classes.

소집단 활동체계와 초등영재의 소수와 합성수 개념 형성 사이의 관계 분석 (Activity-Theoretical Analysis on the Relation of Small Group Activity on Gifted Elementary Student's Concept Formation of Prime and Composite Numbers)

  • 본 연구는 초등학교 5학년 수학영재 학생들의 소수와 합성수에 대한 개념형성의 과정을 활동이론의 틀로 분석한 것으로 계산기 환경의 소집단 활동체계가 개인이 개념 형성하는데 어떤 영향을 주는지 살펴보았다. 자료 분석은 학생 활동지, 관찰 기록, 동영상과 인터뷰의 녹취록을 활용하였다. Vygotsky, Tall & Vinner의 개념 형성 과정을 적용하여 학생들의 수학적 개념 형성의 수준을 파악하였고, 활동이론에 기초한 교실 전체 집단 활동체계와 소집단 활동체계를 분석하여 학생의 개념 형성 단계를 도식화하였다. 본 연구 결과에 따르면 서로 다른 소집단에 속하는 구성원은 소집단 활동을 하고 난 후 한 학생은 의사개념 단계로 발전하였지만 다른 한 학생은 복합적 사고 단계를 벗어나지 못하여 소집단의 활동체계의 활동요소간의 상호작용이 활동 주체인 각 학생의 수학적 개념 형성 과정에 영향을 주었다.
