The influence of magnetic field on propane and acetylene diffusion flames have been experimentally investigated using an electromagnetic system. Periodically induced magnetic field having various frequencies and duty ratios was established in square wave form. The maximum intensity and gradient of magnetic field were 1.3 T and 0.27 T/mm, respectively. The width of a propane flame was reduced up to 4.5% and the brightness was enhanced up to 25% when the magnetic field was induced. The soot emission from an acetylene flame was ceased when magnetic field was induced. The alteration of flow field, which is due to the paramagnetic characteristics of oxygen molecule, is most likely to be responsible for the change in flame size and brightness. The effect of magnetic field on diffusion flames, which competes with the gravitational effect, was more apparent from a smaller size flame. The magnetic field effect, therefore, could be important under microgravity conditions. Since the time required to alter the flow field must be finite, the magnetic field effect is likely to be less significant for a periodically oscillating magnetic field at a high frequency or having a small duty ratio.

High-Tc superconducting magnet properties were dependent upon design conditions such as its radius, length, critical current and notch size. In order to study, design and the simulation for small size magnet were implemented. We know that intensity of magnetic fields controled by critical current and factor ${\alpha}$( R$_2$/R$_1$) and uniformity controled by notch size. The optimal condition of intensity and uniformity magnetic field in this experiments are R$_1$=3[cm], R$_2$=12[cm], Z=10[cm], ${\alpha}$=4, notch=6[cm], critical current=12[A].

In this paper, mixed mode magneto-rheological (MR) damper, which is applicable for vibration control of a small scale multi-story structure, is devised. First, the schematic configurations of the shear, flow, and mixed mode MR dampers are described with design constraints and then the analytical models to predict the field-dependent damping forces are derived for each type. Second, an appropriate size of the mixed mode MR damper is manufactured and its field-dependent damping characteristics are evaluated in time domain. Finally, the performance of the manufactured MR damper which is semi-actively applied to a small scale building excited by earthquake load, is numerically evaluated.
It is demonstrated by using a highly positive uranium ion as a test case that the exact relation between the small and the large components of a Dirac spinor in relativistic self-consistent-field (RSCF) calculations is not fully satisfied by the kinetic balance condition only even for two electron systems. For a fixed number of large component basis functions, total energies are sensitive to the change of the size of the small component basis sets even after the kinetic balance condition is fully satisfied. However, the kinetic balance condition appears to be a reasonable guideline in generating reliable and practical basis sets for most applications of RSCF calculations. With a complete small component basis set, energies from RSCF calculations exhibit a variational behavior, implying the stability of the present RSCF procedure.
As the informationized society develops, for companies to be industrially competitive in global competition, innovation of business administration through informationization is a nation-wide task that must be driven. Small-to-mid size companies also tend to recognize the need for informationization and build the information systems, improving their informationization levels. To reduce errors in bringing in and running the information systems and increase efficiency In using them, the need for the standard and guide for informationization in small-to-mid size companies has increased. Accordingly, the national office of small and medium business administration has developed the informationized management system (IMS) certification standard in order to provide a national motive to secure the means for management innovation of small-to-mid size companies and have them recognize informationization as a business strategy. Now, there arises the need for the IMS certification standard, which was developed in early 2000, due to changes in environments of small-and-medium businesses and problems that have been revealed in field applications. In this research, we have examined the current situations of informationization in small-and-medium businesses that were revealed by the 2005 survey on the levels of informationization in small and medium business, have drawn the problems that have occurred in the process of applying the IMS in many small-to-mid size companies, have devised the measures against those problems, and have proposed a new IMS certification standard that reflects those measures. This research has proposed only the direction for development of the IMS certification standard. Future researches should deal with detailed items and criteria for evaluation and continuous improvement of them.

We analyze the global market for flexible electronic circuits, technical considerations, and analyze the market for application areas and regions. In the market analysis of the application field, the display field has the greatest influence in terms of market size and annual growth rate, and the OLE D lighting market size is expected to grow by nearly 50% in 2026. The multilayer flexible electronics, which dependently requires the semiconductor technology, has a larger market size than other structures and its growth rate is relatively large, leading the market and will be further analyzed in depth. The market size of multilayer flexible electronics applied to display field is expected to show an annual growth rate of 21.1% from $2.7 billion in 2017 to $9.8 billion in 2026, and the OLED market is expected to grow by 75.2% during the same periods. Recently, as electronic products have been miniaturized and advanced, and robust installation in a small space is required, companies that preoccupy multilayer structure or rigid flexible electronic circuit technology have an advantage in competitiveness, so many companies are trying to obtain this technology. These efforts are systematically supported by many countries because they can achieve mutual growth by strengthening the competitiveness of the application field and the same industry. In the case of Korea, a support system is established, but it is required to expand and activate it, and to localize manufacturing equipment and materials.

We evaluated the performance of various detectors for small-field dosimetry with field sizes defined by a high-definition (HD) multileaf collimator (MLC) system. For small-field dosimetry, diodes referred to as "RAZOR detectors," MOSFET detectors, and Gafchromic EBT3 films were used in this study. For field sizes less than $1{\times}1cm^2$, percent depth doses (PDDs) and lateral profiles were measured by diodes, MOSFET detectors, and films, and absolute dosimetry measurements were conducted with MOSFET detectors. For comparison purposes, the same measurements were carried out with a field size of $10{\times}10cm^2$. The dose distributions were calculated by the treatment planning system Eclipse. A comparison of the measurements with calculations yielded the percentage differences. With field sizes less than $1{\times}1cm^2$, it was shown that most of the percentage difference values were within 5% for 6-MV and 15-MV photon beams with the use of diodes. The measured lateral profiles were well matched with those calculated by Eclipse as the field sizes increased. Except for the depths of 0.5 cm and 20 cm, there was agreement in terms of the absolute dosimetry within 10% when MOSFET detectors were used. There was good agreement between the calculations and measurements conducted using diodes and EBT films. Both diode detectors and EBT3 films were found to be appropriate options for relative measurements of PDDs and for lateral profiles.
Most important study on development of high-Tc superconducting magnet is magnetic properties with design conditions To study optimal design condition of high-Tc superconducting magnet, small size solenoid magnet was designed and simulated. Design conditions are radius of bobbin, radius of magnet, length of magnet, critical cur-rent and notch size. We know that intensity of magnetic fields was controled by critical current and uniformity of magnetic fields was controled by notch size. The optimal design conditions to get the high intensity and uniformity of magnetic field in this experiments were radius of bobbin=3[cm], radius of magnetic=12[cm], length of Z=10[cm], notch size=6[cm] and critical current=12[A].
Since the MgB2 superconductor is simply composed of two constituents of Mg and B, its performance can be monitored easily with the change of one ingredient compared to the other. With the powder size of B less than 100 nm, two different sizes of Mg powders are used to investigate the reaction temperature dependence of MgB2 bulk samples. In the range of 630-700℃ for the duration of 30 min., the un-reacted Mg is seen only at 630℃ with Mg powder size of <5 ㎛, whereas Mg traces are detected at all the temperature range with Mg powder size of <45 ㎛. The reaction temperature dependence of MgB2 superconducting transition temperature, Tc, shows little difference whether Mg powder size is large or small in this range except for the 630℃. It is worthy of notice that the critical current densities of MgB2 show higher performance with the small size of Mg compared to the large one at all field ranges. With the Mg powder size of <45 ㎛, flux pinning is enhanced with decreasing the reaction temperature, whereas flux pinning properties is quite similar in the Mg powder size of <5 ㎛ except for the 630℃, where Mg is left behind after the reaction.
