This study analyzed the changes in climate elements that affects the opening and closing dates of the ski resorts, and the snowmaking. Climatology data from the weather stations adjacent to the ski resorts in the central region of Korea were analysed to understand the snowmakig status. The fan type snowmaker has been used in the capital region (over 94% of the whole snowmaking), while the gun type snowmaker has been used in Yongpyong. There has been obviously an increased trend of the daily minimum temperature in November in Daegwallyeong and a little decreased trend in Icheon after 1980s. That caused the effect on the opening dates of the ski resort in the capital region of Korea during 2000s. Closing dates of ski resorts were earlier in the capital region (with $2{\sim}4^{\circ}C$ of daily maximum temperature in mid-February) than in Yongpyong. The obviously increasing rate of the snowmelting day in Icheon also hardened the management and maintenance of the ski resorts in the capital region of Korea.

SKI-II has been reported as an inhibitor of sphingosine kinase 1 and has been extensively used to prove the involvement of sphingosine kinase and sphingosine-1-phosphate (Sphk1) in cellular processes. In the current study, we investigated the effects of SKI-II and its potential mechanisms in human gastric cancer SGC7901 cells. After treatment with SKI-II, cell growth, cell cycle distribution, apoptosis, expression of Sphk1, NF-${\kappa}B$, Bcl-2, Bax and p27 were assessed by MTT assay, flow cytometry, electron microscopy, immunocytochemistry and Western-blot assay, respectively. Our results showed that SKI-II markedly inhibited SGC7901 cell survival in a dose-dependent manner, reduced cell proliferation with accumulation of cells in the G0/G1 phase and induced apoptosis in the tumor cells. Furthermore, Western blotting and immunocytochemistry showed that the expression of p27 and Bax was increased significantly, but the expression of NF-${\kappa}B$, Bcl-2 and Sphk1 decreased by different degrees. These results indicate that SKI-II induced cell growth arrest and apoptosis. The increased apoptotic sensitivity of SGC7901 was correlated with NF-${\kappa}B$ or Bcl-2/Bax activation.

The general pharmacological profiles of SKI 2053R were investigeted on the central nervous system, autonomic nervous system, respiratory-cardiovascular system, digestive system and other systems. SKI 2053R had no significant pharmacological effects. Pharmacokinetic studies on time-course of blood levels, tissue distribution and excretion of SKI 20S3R were performed in rats and beagle dogs after intravenous administration of $^{14}$ C-labeled SKI 2053R. The blood level of radioactivity decreased in bi-or tri-exponential manners: rapidly decreased at $\alpha$-phase but slowly decreased at $\beta$-or ${\gamma}$-phase. $^{14}$ C SKI 2053R was well distributed to all tissues except central nervous system. Tissue concentration profiles of radioactivity were almost consistent wi th those of blood, but higher than those of plasma from 1 to 168 hrs after administration. Also, these results were consistent wi th those of whole body ARG study. The urinary and fecal excretions of radioactivity within 168 hr after administration were 84-87 and 9-11 ％ of total radioactivity of $^{14}$ C-SKI 2053R administered. In lactating rats, the levels of radioactivity in the milk were significantly lower than that in the blood, but slightly higher than that in the plasma. The disapperance of the radioactivity from the milk was similar as that in the plasma.

This study examines the relationship between sport confidence, exercise passion and re-participation intention of collegiate students participating in snow-ski class. The subjects for this study were 416 collegiate students who signed up for snow-ski class as a university curriculum. The reliability and validity test of the questionnaire were conducted by using SPSS & AMOS Window 18.0 program; the results of descriptive analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis, structural equation model are as follows; First, sport confidence of collegiate students in ski-class affects their exercise passion. Second, sport confidence of collegiate students in ski-class has influence on their re-participation intention. Third, collegiate students' exercise passion in ski-class affects their re-participation intention. Lastly there is a causal relationship between sport confidence, exercise passion and re-participation intention of collegiate students in the snow-ski class.

The mono-ski for the paraplegia designed to skiing is formed as seat bucket on the sled. The impact force transferred by snow surface during skiing is absorbed by the leg joints of normal human, but it is transferred to the human body on the seat when using mono-ski. Most of commercially available mono-ski have absorbing device and link mechanism between seat and ski mount in order to complement it. In this study we developed the comfort evaluation model that could provide skiing simulation of mono-ski with hydraulic damper and analyzed vibrational acceleration occurred during skiing uneven surface. The evaluation method used in this study is the international standard BS6841. We evaluated comfort performance of mono-ski in accordance with nozzle adjustment of hydraulic damper.

Purpose: This is the descriptive research for providing the basic data necessary for the first aid education after understanding the first aid experience, first aid education, first aid knowledge, and educational needs of ski resorts workers. Methods: 323 workers of domestic 9 ski resorts were surveyed for data, which was collected using the systematic questionnaire from Oct. $6^{th}$ to $20^{th}$, 2011. The collected data has been processed using the program of SPSS Win. Version 14.0 and analyzed that according to the purpose of research in terms of real number, percentage, standard deviation, t-test and ANOVA. Results: 1. 58.8%(190) of ski resort workers experienced an emergency on duty and 33.6%(108) carried out the first aid for emergency patients on duty. 2. 65.6%(210) of workers experienced first aid education. 3. The percentage of correct answers of first aid knowledge was average 46.8% and average $9.35{\pm}2.54$ points out of total 20 points. 4. The first aid educational necessity indicated as follows: ski resort workers need first aid education (97.5%, 306); workers want to have the education if they have chance (94.6%, 296 persons); in addition, they need the repeated education of first aid (95.6%, 301). Conclusion: It is understood that as special first aid service can be delayed in ski resorts due to their geographical characteristics, the workers of ski resorts need the continuous and systematic first aid education enabling them to play the first responder in the first aid system when emergency situation occurs.

cis-Malonato[(4R,5R)-4,5-bis(aminomethyl)-2-isopropyl-1,3-dioxolane]platinum(II)(SKI 2053R), an antitumor platinum complex, was selected for clinical evaluation on the basis of its experimental antitumor and toxicologic profiles in preclinical studies. These studies were performed to obtain information on its toxic signs, orgnas which are mainly affected, and to estimate its lethality in mice and rats given SKI 2053R through two routes of administration. In male and female rats given a single intragastrical dose of SKI 2053R, we estimated that $LD_{50}$ values were over 3.00g/kg, respectively. In male and female mice given a signle intragastrical dose of SKI 2053R, we estimated that $LD_{50}$ values were 2.44g/kg and 1.59g/kg, respectively, In a single intraperitoneal dose of SKI 2053R, we determined that $LD_{50}$ values of male and female rats were 227mg/kg and 182mg/kg, and those of male and female mice were 198mg/kg and 207mg/kg, respectively. In gross and histopathological examinations on dead animals, we found that kidney and liver were mainly affected.

The purpose of this study was empirically to reveal the structure relationship between ethical management of ski resort employee, organizational identification and customer orientation. For the research, survey of 200 people working in domestic ski resorts was conducted. The survey was composed of three variables(ethical management, organizational identification and customer orientation). The following results were obtained by confirmatory analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and structural equation model analysis. First, ski resort employee's ethical management had a positive correlation with organizational identification. Second, ski resort employee's ethical management had a positive correlation with customer orientation. Third, ski resort employee's organizational identification had a positive correlation with customer orientation. This study suggested that the ethical management of ski resorts had positive effects on the attitudes and behaviors of the employees who regarded the organization as a common fate and provided high quality service considering the customer's position.

In this paper, we define an alternative q-analogue of the $Ruci{\acute{n}}ski$-Voigt numbers. We obtain fundamental combinatorial properties such as recurrence relations, generating functions and explicit formulas which are shown to be q-deformations of similar properties for the $Ruci{\acute{n}}ski$-Voigt numbers, and are generalizations of the results obtained by other authors. A combinatorial interpretation in the context of A-tableaux is also given where convolution-type identities are consequently obtained. Lastly, we establish the matrix decompositions of the $Ruci{\acute{n}}ski$-Voigt and the q-$Ruci{\acute{n}}ski$-Voigt numbers.

제 3세대 platinum complex인 SKI 2053R에 의한 Salmonella typhimurium의 복귀변이빈도, CHL세포(Chinese Hamster Lung)에 대한 염색체이상 유발율 및 ddY계 마우스에서의 골수분화세포에 대한 염색체이상유발로 기인한 소핵의 빈도수를 관찰하여 SKI 2053R의 유전독성을 평가하였다. Salmonella typhimurium를 이용한 복귀돌연변이시험에서 SKI 2053R은 매우 경미한 정도의 돌연변이 유발성을 가지는 것으로 판단되며, 균주 특이적 돌연변이 유발성으로 보아 염기쌍치환형의 돌연변이를 유발하는 것으로 사료되며 포유류배양세포를 이용한 염색체이상실험에서 대사 활성 부재 및 존재하의 모든 시험 농도에서 10％ 이상의 염색체이상을 가진 세포가 관찰되었으며 염색체 상의 종류로는 염색분체형 교환 (cse)이 가장 많이 관찰되었다. 설치류를 이용한 소헥시험에서는 ddY계 마우스 골수세포의 분화과정에서 염색체이상을 유발하며, 다염성적혈구의 정염성적혈구에 대한 출현비율이 감소하는 결과로 볼때 방추체기능의 저해를 일으키는 것으로 판단된다. 그러므로 본 시험조건데 있어서 SKI 2053R은 소핵을 유발하는 물질로 결론지었다.
