The aim of this study was to test the different situational characteristics of family restaurant choice. Accordingly, this study measured the important factors influencing family restaurant choice between university student's situational characteristics. In this study, the important factors were food presentation-related, facility-related, food quality & value-related and service-related factors. The findings from this study were as follows. Results of analyzing the validity and the internal consistency of important factors showed that the convergent and discriminant validitys of important factors are supported, and cronbach's alpha showed that the internal consistency of important factors is supported. It was found that groups of different situational characteristics perceived that facility factor was significantly important factor influencing their family restaurant choice. It was found that the important factor was statistically significant with regard to the difference situational characteristics. Finally, the results of the study provide seine insights into the market-oriented types of foodservice marketing strategies or tactics to enable family restaurant to effectively manage and more competitive.

This study examined consumers' regret after purchasing fashion goods. We identified product and situational characteristics that influence regret as well as the relationship between regret and its result variables, dissatisfaction, regret solving effort and repurchase intention. We collected 642 copies of questionnaires, distributed to females in their 20's to 40's online from March $18^{th}$-$25^{th}$, 2010. Data was analyzed using SPSS 14.0 and LISREL 8.50. The major findings of the study were as follows. First, total five factors of product characteristics (called negative evaluation for value price, expectation difference, design/coordination, size/fitness and quality) were identified and three factors of situational characteristics (called sale/inaction, time pressure/shopping companion, and impulsive buying) were investigated. Regret was significantly effected by negative evaluation for value price, design/coordination, size/fitness, quality except negative evaluation for expectation difference in product characteristics and impulsive buying and situational characteristics. The results indicated a significant relationship between regret, dissatisfaction, regret solving effort and repurchase intention. These were the result to implicate that a consideration for the feeling of regret that influenced consumer satisfaction and dissatisfaction should be made from the aspect of marketing strategies.
The purpose of this study was 1) to understand the job transfer in education & training(E&T) programs & organizational situational characteristics, and 2) to analyze the effects of the E&T programs & organizational situational characteristic groups on each of the levels of job transfer. There is intimate relationship between E&T programs characteristics & organizational situational characteristics and job transfer, so we can't think of them separately. With this point of view the most frequently discussed problem is how to apply the theory in actual job, but in reality it's true that the improvement of job transfer can't reach the expectations of the E&T programs. In literature view study, the concepts of job transfer in E&T, the general theory on E&T, and the actual condition and points at issue of the existing E&T practices in the medium and small-sized hospitals were defined. As the results from empirical analysis, we could find followings: First, in evaluation of the job transfer, demographic characteristics (seniority, occupational category, position) variables have a significant different. Second, in degree of the job transfer, E&T programs characteristics(contents of E&T, design of E&T, conditions of E&T, teaching ability of lecturer, methods of E&T) variables have a different influence upon each of the evaluation levels of E&T. Third, support of CEO variables have a different influence on the job transfer according to contents, design, conditions of the E&T programs. Fourth, support of co-works variables have a different influence on the job transfer according to design, conditions, method of the E&T programs. Fifty, support of organizational atmosphere variables have a different influence on the job transfer according to contents, design, conditions of the E&T programs.
Purpose: This study was designed to explore the relationship of situational meaning with maternal self-esteem in mothers with high risk newborn. Method: The subjects of this study were 82 mothers with high risk newborn. Data were collected using a translated Family Meaning Attribution Scale and Maternal Self-Report Inventory. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, Pearson Correlation Coefficients and Stepwise Multiple Regression. Result: The average score of the situational meaning in high risk newborn mothers was 64.0l(possible score is between 0-96) and the average score of each item was 1.98. The average score of the maternal self-esteem in high risk newborn mothers was 81.96(possible score is between 26-104) and the average score of each item was 3.15. No significant differences were found in situational meaning according to general characteristics except whether it was a planned pregnancy or not. No significant differences were found in maternal self-esteem according to general characteristics except disease or admission experience during pregnancy. There was significant positive correlation between situational meaning and maternal self-esteem. Conclusion: It is necessary for nurses to provide high risk newborn mothers with care for improving situational meaning that is attributed to the mothers. It can be helpful to improve maternal self-esteem and in the end it will facilitate the maternal transition in mothers with high risk newborn.

According to the literatures of marketing, psychology, and other related areas, the situational influences on consumers' decision-making process have been significant, thus increased explanatory power of consume behavior when introduced in a research as one of the independent variables. Considering the characteristics of clothing as a consumer goods, situational influences on clothing purchase behavior were expected to be significant. As the theoretical backgrounds of situational influences on clothing purchase behavior, this study was to propose the definition of sitution in Clothing & Textiles department, and to suggest the types of situational variables affecting clothing purchase process in consideration of the results of consumer behavior research and the research related to clothing. The results of this study suggested that the definition of situation, subjective situation or objective situation, should be adjusted to the purpose of research, and that the types of situations affecting clothing purchase process might be defined into three types; wearing situation, communication situation, and purchasing situation. It was also suggested that the empirical studies would be necessary to verify the results, and the conceptual framework for the types of situations and the personality characteristics related to the clothing purchase situation should be identified.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of situational involvement on impulse buying of clothing products in cable TV home shopping. Data were obtained from 235 women aged between 20 and 50 living in Seoul metropolitan area who have bought apparel products on impulse through cable TV. The data were analyzed using factor analysis, cluster analysis, MANOVA, and Chi-square analysis. By factor analysis, two factors of situational involvement factors were identified: Emotional Involvement and Cognitive Involvement. Based on situational involvement, consumers were classified into four groups; High Involvement, Low Involvement, Cognitive Involvement, and Emotional Involvement groups. These groups showed different decision making styles. The situational involvement groups were also different in terms of demographic characteristics, purchase behaviors, types of impulse purchase products, and responses to marketing stimuli. The findings of this study provide useful information for retails of Cable TV home shopping. Retailers may need to make useful marketing efforts for each types of situational involvement.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the casual relationships of situational variables and consumer characteristics on apparel buying behavior. data were collected via a questionnaire developed on the previous studies from 534 housewives living at Seoul and Pusan, and analyzed by Path analysis. Results indicated that consumers were affected directly by the buying situation and the usage situation, and indirectly by the communication situation and the consumer characteristics on apparel buying behavior. The buying situation was a variable that most affected consumers'apparel buying behavior. Apparel consumers showed the common situational effects on apparel buying behavior as did on consumer behavior of the other consumer goods. The casual relationships of apparel buying behavior were significantly different on the types of usage situations.
Purpose: This paper is to determine whether automatic defibrillators (AEDs) deployed across communities make a contribution to prevent death in patients with acute cardiac arrest out-of-hospital. Methods: A total of 30,179 cases of cardiac arrest investigation data from the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention was matched to those on emergency medical statistics drawn from annual report for the 2018 Central Emergency Medical Center, and statistics from the National Statistical Office in 2018. Results: Multiple logistic regression analyses revealed that availability of emergency medical resources across associated with different survival rates at emergency room after taking variability of the patient's personal characteristics and episodic situational characteristics held constant. The survival rate was 1.71 times higher for patients living in communities with more than 105 AEDs avaiable per 100,000 inhabitants than for those living in communities with less than 55 AEDs. Conclusion: The survival-related factors of patients with acute cardiac arrest that occurred out-of-hospital were found to be associated with patients' and episodic situational characteristics. The hospital stage were found to be associated with patients characteristics and episodic situational characteristics, The variability of AED available in a community has an impact on survival rate after emergency room treatment.
Although many studies have been conducted to find solutions to deal with human errors effectively, violations have been rarely studied in depth. The violation is a type of human error when an employee takes an action with intention but does not intend harmful outcomes. Violations have characteristics similar to other types of human errors but it is difficult to understand the intention of an employee from accident reports. The objective of this study is to develop a conceptual model of violation errors for preventing accidents/failures in a nuclear power plant from violation errors. Based on the previous studies, the characteristics of violations were collected in 9 categories and 136 items. They were classified into three-kinds of characteristics (human-related, task-related, organization-related characteristics) to construct conceptual models of routine/situational violations. The representative cases of accidents/failures in a nuclear power plant were analyzed to derive the specific types of routine/situational violation occurrence. Three types of conceptual model for each violation were derived according to whether the basic, human-related, and task-related characteristics are included or not. The conceptual models can be utilized to develop guidelines to support employees preventing routine/situational violations and to develop supportive system in nuclear power plant.
The purpose of this study was to identify the factors affecting family functioning of stroke patients. A descriptive survey research was conducted in which 65 stroke patients and their primary caregivers were conveniently sampled. Data were collected from July to September, 1998 through interviewing using a structured questionnare. The measuring instruments used were Barthel Index by Mahoney and Barthel(15 items), Quality of Relationship Scale by Archbold and Stewart(15 Items), Role Stress of Caregiver Scale by Yang(14 items), Situational Definition Scale by Lee(9 items), Family Hardiness Index by McCubbin, McCubbin. and Thompson(20 items), and Family Adaptability Cohesion Evaluation Scale(FACES-III) by Olson, Portner, and Lavee(20 items). The obtained data were analyzed using percentage, t-test, ANOVA, Duncan test, and Pearson coefficients correlation by SAS/PC program. The results were as follows; 1. Role Stress of Caregiver was not severe and Quality of Relationship was moderate. The level of Situational Definition of primary caregivers was not high but Family Hardiness and Family Functioning were rather high. 2. The following relationships between research variables and demographic characteristics of the primary caregivers of stroke patients were significantly different; occupation of caregiver between Quality of Relationship, occupation of caregiver between Situational Definition, family type between Role Stress, caregiving duration between Family Hardiness, caregiving duration between Family Functioning, and hospitalization days between Family Functioning. 3. The correlations between research variables were as follows; There was positively correlated between patient's ADL and Quality of Relationship. The relationship of the patient's ADL between Role Stress was negatively correlated. Quality of Relationship between Situational Definition, Family Hardiness, and Family Functioning were significantly correlated. The correlation of Situational Definition between Family Hardiness, and Situational Definition between Family Functioning were very high. As a result of these findings, Quality of Relationship, Role Stress, Situational Definition. and Family Hardiness were useful variables for identifying Family Functioning of stroke patients. It is important for the rehabilitation nurse to be knowledgeable about family functioning of stroke patients to promote rehabilitation process.
