The primitive beachflea, Paciforchestia pyatakovi (Derzhavin, 1937) living in gravel beaches was previously reported only from Japan and Russia. This species can be easily distinguished from another species in the same genus, P. klawei (Bousfield, 1961), by the degradation of all plepods and both rami that each consist of single article bearing 2-4 distal plumose setae. Descriptions of the diagnostic characteristics of the species are presented.

The article is devoted to mathematical modeling of prob-lems of stochastic optimization of the plastic metal working. Classifi-cation and mathematical statements of such problems are proposed. Several calculation techniques of the single goal function are pre-sented. The probability theory and the Fuzzy numbers were applied for solution of the problems of stochastic optimization.

In this article, we introduce the concept of ordered dualistic partial metric spaces and establish an order relation on quasi dualistic partial metric spaces. Later on, using this order relation, we prove xed point theorems for single and multivalued mappings. We support our results with some illustrative examples.

The aim of this article is to derive twenty five transformation formulas in the form of a single result for the triple hypergeometric series $X_8$ introduced earlier by Exton. The results are derived with the help of generalized Watson#s theorem obtained earlier by Lavoie et al. An interesting special cases are also pointed out.

Neurocutaneous melanosis associated with Dandy-Walker malformation is a rare dysmorphogenesis that is associated with single or multiple giant pigmented cutaneous nevi and diffuse involvement of the central nervous system. In this article, we present a 2-month-old patient with neurocutaneous melanosis associated with Dandy-Walker malformation. In addition, we reviewed the literature and discussed the pathogenesis based on the preferred hypotheses.

As one of the 31 e-Government project, BPR/ISP on e-Trade has been carried out during December 2003 and June 2004. The purpose of the project was designed to facilitate e-Trade by establishing Single Window for e-Trade. Elimination of legal obstacles is a condition precedent for activation of e-Trade. Thus this article is focused to present the way to revised the laws relating to e-Trade.

This article analyzes a three phase interleaved boost converter for photovoltaic PCS, and compares with a single phase boost converter. The advantage of this approach, such as higher efficiency and reduced input and output ripple, are demonstrated by a three phase boost converter simulation.

In this article we derive some best approximation theorems for multimaps in abstract convex metric spaces. We are based on generalized KKM maps due to Kassay-Kolumbán, Chang-Zhang, and studied by Park, Kim-Park, Park-Lee, and Lee. Our main results are extensions of a recent work of Mitrović-Hussain-Sen-Radenović on G-convex metric spaces to partial KKM metric spaces. We also recall known works related to single-valued maps, and introduce new partial KKM metric spaces which can be applied our new results.

Although surgical resection remains the best option as potentially curative therapy for hepatocellular carcinoma, radiofrequency thermal ablation has begun to receive much attention as an effective minimally invasive technique for the local control of unresectable malignant hepatic tumors. Most recent radiofrequency devices equipped with a powerful generator and larger needle electrode permit larger thermal lesions, up to 5 cm in diameter, with a single ablation. In this article, the author reviews the technical developments and early clinical results obtained with radiofrequency ablation techniques.

Multi layer bellows are being manufactured for commercial vehicle because of the characteristic of high durability compared with single iaγor bellows used to passenger vehicle. Finite Element Method (FEM) study and optimization about single layer bellows are actively progressed, but FEM study about multi layer bellows which have gap between layer is rarely processed. Therefore, this article presents finite element modeling of multi layer bellows for the improvement of simulation reliability. For the shape optimization of multi layer bellows, design of experiment and Taguchi method are used.
