Single and Two-Week Repeated] Oral Dose Toxicity Study of DHP2, a Hydrophobic Drug Delivery Vehicle in Mice

  • The present study was conducted to investigate the single and 2-week repeated dose toxicity of DHP2, a hydrophobic drug delivery vehicle, in ICR mice. The test article was administered orally to mice at the dose levels of 2.5, 12.5 and 37.5 g/kg for single dose toxicity study and at the dose levels of 0, 2.5, 5, and 10 g/kg for repeated dose toxicity study. In both studies, there were no treatment-related effects on mortality, clinical signs, food and water consumption, ophthalmoscopy, urinalysis, hematology, serum biochemistry, necropsy findings and organ weights of all animals treated DHP2. Based on these results, it was concluded that the 2-week repeated oral dose of DHP2 may have no toxic effect in mice at a dose level of 10 g/kg. In the condition of this study, the no-observed-adverse-effect level (NOAEL) was considered to be 10 g/kg/day for both sexes.

  • The main purposes of this article are to introduce the theoretical backgrounds and empirical application methods of two different Models for the function of expenditure, and to compare the goodness-o(-fit of the two models: a single-equation model and a complete-system-of-demand-equation model. For the empirical analysis of the single-equation model, a linear formula and a double-leg formula were employed. In order to test the complete-system-of-demand-equation model empirically, the \"Linear Approximation/Almost Ideal Demand System (LA/AIDS)" was used. The independent variables were the total living expense and expenditure categories Price index. The data used in this study were obtained from the quarterly statistics of "The Annual Report on the Urban Family Income and Expenditure Survey (Dosigagyeyonbo)" and "The Annual Report on the Consumer Price Index (Sobijamulgajaryo)," for the years 1994 to 1997. The goodness-of-fit (R-square) was higher with the complete-system-of-demand-equation model than with the single-equation model for the budget share on food (excluding eating-out expenses) and for the share on cultural and recreational activities. However, there was no difference between the two models in terms of the proportion of the expenditure on automobile fuel.fuel.

뇌성마비 아동을 위한 작업치료 중재에 대한 체계적 고찰: 국내 단일대상연구를 중심으로 (A Systematic Review of Occupational Therapy Interventions for Children With Cerebral Palsy: Focus on Single-Subject Research Design)

  • 목적 : 본 연구에서는 뇌성마비 아동을 대상으로 작업치료 중재를 시행한 국내 단일대상연구들의 연구 특성을 종합적으로 분석하고 방법론적 질적 수준을 확인하여 근거 기반을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 본 연구는 2022년 5월 20일부터 29일까지 Research Information Sharing Service (RISS), National Digital Science Library (NDSL), Koreanstudies Information Service System (KISS), E-article에 게재된 문헌들을 대상으로 하였다. 검색어는'뇌성마비' AND '단일대상연구' OR '개별대상연구'였다. 11편의 논문을 최종 선택하여 일반적 특성과 방법론적 질적 수준을 분석하였다. 결과 : 11편의 분석 논문에서 방법론적 질적 수준은 중간 수준인 연구가 가장 많았다. 대상자는 학령전기 아동과 경직성 편마비 아동이 가장 많았고, 실험설계는 단일대상연구 설계에서 중재 제거 설계가 가장 많았으며 그 중에서 ABA 설계가 가장 많았다. 중재의 종류는 보조기기, 강제유도치료, 신경발달치료 접근, 감각통합치료가 각각 2편이었고, 상지운동훈련, 상호작용 메트로놈, 인지 기반 작업수행이 각각 1편이었다. 측정 도구는 최소 2개에서 최대 4개를 사용하여 종속변인을 측정하였고, 자세조절능력, 보행 및 균형, 손기능, 상지기능 등에서 긍정적인 효과 및 유의한 향상이 나타났다. 결론 : 본 연구는 작업치료 중재를 적용한 뇌성마비 대상자의 특성과 중재 회기 및 시간, 중재효과, 측정도구와 방법론적 질적 수준을 제시함으로써 뇌성마비를 대상으로 작업치료 중재를 적용할 때 도움이 될 것으로 확인된다.

  • In this article modification of wool fibers and fabrics by pulse corona discharge and enzymes, in particular purified keratinase with a single component has been carried out to improve their surface properties. The shrinkproofing, tensile strength, weight loss, and the primary hand values calculated from the mechanical properties of the dual treated wool fabrics were investigated. In addition, the surface morphology of wool fiber was observed under the dry and wet conditions using an environmental SEM, ESEM.

These papers, however. do not carefully address the role of warehouse planning/control systems nor do they recognize how to integrate the management planning/control systems, and automated warehouse system. This article addresses such issues and shows how a business computer system can be used to integrate and unify the warehouse planning/control systems and the automated warehouse system into it single and highly productive operating system.

  • Tabu search (TS) has been successfully applied for solving many complex combinatorial optimization problems in the areas of operations research and production control. However, TS is for single-objective problems in its present form. In this article, a TS-based heuristic is developed to determine Pareto-efficient solutions to a multi-objective combinatorial optimization problem. The developed algorithm is then applied to the discrete optimal design problem in statistics to demonstrate its usefulness.

SOME STRONGLY NIL CLEAN MATRICES OVER LOCAL RINGS

  • An element of a ring is called strongly nil clean provided that it can be written as the sum of an idempotent and a nilpotent element that commute. A ring is strongly nil clean in case each of its elements is strongly nil clean. We investigate, in this article, the strongly nil cleanness of 2${\times}$2 matrices over local rings. For commutative local rings, we characterize strongly nil cleanness in terms of solvability of quadratic equations. The strongly nil cleanness of a single triangular matrix is studied as well.
