  • This paper proposes a new technque of the camera calibration to be computed a homography between the planar patterns taken by a single image to be located at the three planar patterns from uncalibrated images. It is essential to calibrate a camera for 3-dimensional reconstruction from uncalibrated image. Since the proposed method should be computed from the homography among the three planar patterns from a single image, it is implemented to more easily and simply to recover 3D reconstruction of an object than the conventional. Experimental results show the performances of the proposed method are the better than the conventional. We demonstrate examples of recovering 3D reconstruction using the proposed algorithm from uncalibrated images.

  • Recently, 3D integral imaging system, which is well known as an auto-stereoscopic 3D display method, has been gaining great attention amongst researchers. The integral imaging is a promising 3D display technology since it is able to deliver continuous viewing points, full parallax, and full color view to the observers in space. In this paper, we propose a novel interactive 3D integral imaging system using a single camera. The user interface is implemented by adding a camera in the conventional integral imaging system. To show the possibility of the proposed system, we implement the optical setup and present the preliminary results. To our best knowledge, this is the first time to study an interactive 3D integral imaging.

  • To achieve fully autonomous driving, the perceptual skills of the surrounding environment must be superior to those of humans. The $60^{\circ}$ angle, $120^{\circ}$ wide angle cameras, which are used primarily in autonomous driving, have their disadvantages depending on the viewing angle. This paper uses a multi-angle object recognition system to overcome each of the disadvantages of wide and narrow-angle cameras. Also, the aspect ratio of data acquired with wide and narrow-angle cameras was analyzed to modify the SSD(Single Shot Detector) algorithm, and the acquired data was learned to achieve higher performance than when using only monocular cameras.

  • This paper presents a single vision-based sel(-localization method in an corridor environment. We use the Hough transform for finding parallel lines and vertical lines. And we use these cross points as feature points and it is calculated relative distance from mobile robot to these points. For matching environment map to feature points, searching window is defined and self-localization is performed by matching procedure. The result shows the suitability of this method by experiment.

  • In this paper, we proposed Single Tone Detection Algorithm for prevent decoloration and color distortion of single tone image in auto white balance of mobile phone camera. Conventional auto white balance which accomplish very well using complex color images, but there are some problems if input images are single tone image or included large part of single tone. If input images are singlet one, or included large part of single tone, which cause decoloration or distorted color in output images. In this paper, we proposed single tone detection algorithm using color histogram data for solve decoloration or distorted color problems. If this algorithm is applied to auto white balance, it will be improvement in auto white balance.

  • To make 3D camera system, we check the possibility of advanced range camera module based on measuring the time delay of modulated infrared light, using a single detector chip fabricated on standard CMOS process. To depth information, electronic shutter and interlaced scanning method of 2D sensor is needed. Especially, we design "lens system, illumination unit" and review simulation result.

  • We propose an improved stereovision scheme using a composite lens array and single camera. The use of a composite lens array makes it possible to construct a compact stereovision system and to improve the quality of the results by adopting image processing method. The principle of the proposed system is explained and the simulation and the experimental results are also presented.

  • A new approach to the three-dimensional measurement of the object surface and moving particles is introduced. A single TV camera with an apparatus to add the circular bias to the image enables us to record the three-dimensional information of measuring points as streaks on a single image. Every shaped of the streak on the image plane is related to the position of the measuring point. the information is extracted form the image using an image processign technique.

  • A high resolution picosecond absorption kinetic spectrometer utilizing dye emission and a streak camera is presented and compared with other methods of picosecond transient absorption measurements. Typical transient absorption and bleach recovery kinetics measured with this spectrometer are shown. Single wavelength transient absorption or ground state bleach recovery kinetics are determined on the basis of a single laser shot, so that the samples are relatively free frm decomposition by irradiation. Excellent kinetics may be obtained from the near UV to the near IR and are not subject to interference from luminescence of samples. The sensitivity of this spectrometer is very high and it is reasonably easy and convenient to set up and use.
