본 논문에서는 독립된 DC 입력전원을 요구하는 Cascaded H-bridge 멀티레벨 인버터를 단일 입력전원으로 구동시키기 위한 회로 구조를 제안한다. 변압기 포화를 방지하기 위해 채용되는 리센 권선을 가지는 포워드 컨버터의 구조를 변경한 것으로 리셋 권선에 의해 전원으로 회생되는 에너지가 출력단으로 전달되도록 변경된다. 제안된 회로 구조의 입출력전압과 스위치의 도통비와의 관계를 이론적으로 분석하고 시뮬레이션을 통해 타당성을 검증한다.

To make 3D camera system, we check the possibility of advanced range camera module based on measuring the time delay of modulated infrared light, using a single detector chip fabricated on standard CMOS process. To depth information, electronic shutter and interlaced scanning method of 2D sensor is needed. Especially, we design "lens system, illumination unit" and review simulation result.

In the near future, drive-by-wire systems will replace mechanical systems of vehicles. Since there would be no mechanical redundancy in the x-by-wire subsystem, it needs to improve the reliability of the system using fault diagnosis of sensors and actuators. This paper proposes a Kalman filter based fault diagnosis method for the vehicle with the drive-by-wire system, which includes steer-by-wire, brake-by-wire and throttle-by-wire systems. We will show that the proposed method is successful in fault detection and isolation for single sensor/actuator faults of the vehicle system.

Phase intergrowth in BSCCO thin films has been Investigated. It turfed out from XRD analyses of these phases that molar fraction of each constituent phase in the intergrowth thin film can be exhibited as a function of substrate temperature and ozone pressure. Super- conducting behavior of the intergrowth thin aim Is also discussed.

The sorption behavior of Cs(I), Sr(II), and U(VI) on representative single minerals(oxide and clay) and rocks were comparatively studied by using batch type sorption experiment. The effects of pH, ionic strength and the sorption mechanism were also discussed. It was found that mineral structure played as a main factor governing the sorption characteristics of Cs(I), Sr(II). The sorption of Cs(I) and Sr(II) on minerals showed ionic strength-dependency, which is a indirect sign of weak binding between metal cation and mineral surfaces. However, the sorption behavior of U(VI) was quite different compared with that of Cs(I), and Sr(II). Fe-oxide minerals showed strong tendency for U(VI) sorption, dominating the sorption in the composite/mixture systems. The surface characteristics which arise from mineral structure, and the affinity of metal ions to the sorption sites of minerals are the key to understand the role of minerals in the radionuclide sorption.

A Single-Stage Single-Switch power-factor- correction(PFC) AC/DC Converter with universal input is presented in this paper. The PFC Converter can be achieved based upon the continuous current mode(CCM). The switch has less current and voltage stresses over a wide range of load variation so that a low voltage rating device can be used. The presented converter features high power factor high efficiency, and low cost. An 90W prototype was implemented to show that it has 70% efficiency with low voltage stress over universal line input.

Shortest path problem belongs to the combinatorial optimization problem and plays an important role in the field of computer aided design. It can either be directly applied as in the case of routing or serves as a important subroutine in more complex problems. In this paper, a systolic array for the SSSP(single-source shortest path problem) was derived. The array was modeled and simulated in RTL level using VHDL, then synthesized to a schematic and finally implemented to a layout using the cell library based on 0.35 $\mu\textrm{m}$ CMOS 1-poly 4-metal CMOS technology.

A new silkworm variety, Chunsujam, for spring rearing season is F$_1$ hybrid between Japanese race Jam145 bred by 8459/8711 and Chinese race Jam146 by 8544/M8626. Jam145, Japanese parent of the Chunsujam, showed high GCA in pupation rate and Jam146, Chinese parent, showed high GCA in pupation rate and single cocoon weight. In the local adaptability test performed at 8 local areas in spring of 1999, Chunsujam was 5% higher in larval weight, 3% in single cocoon weight, and 4% in cocoon yield from 10,000 of the 3rd molted larvae, respectively, than the check variety Baegokjam.
