The Nelder-Mead simplex algorithm has been one of the most widely used methods for the nonlinear unconstrained optimization, since 1965. Recently, the new algorithm, (so-called the Fuzzy Simplex Algorithm), with fuzzy logic controllers for the expansion, reflection and contraction process of this algorithm has been proposed. In this paper, this new algorithm is developed. And, the formulation for the optimum design of the power screw's efficiency is made. And then, the developed fuzzy simplex algorithm as well as the original one is applied to this optimum design problem. The Fuzzy simplex algorithm results in a faster convergence in this problem, as reported in other study, too.

The purpose of this paper is to develope efficient techniques for implementing the dual simplex method. In this paper we proposed one artificial row technique to get an initial dual feasible basic solution, a dual steepest-edge method coupled with a dropping row selection rule, and an anti-degeneracy technique which resembles the EXPAND procedure for the primal simplex method. The efficiency of the above techniques is shown by experiments. Finally, the dual simplex method is shown to be superior to the primal simplex method when it is used in the integer programming.

Anisakis simplex sensu stricto와 A. pegreffii의 3기 유충과 4기 유충에서 얻은 excretory-secretory (ES) products 및 somatic extracts의 가수분해효소 활성을 API ZYM kit를 이용하여 비교하였다. Esterase 그룹의 가수분해효소 중 acid phosphatase는 A. simplex (s.s.)와 A. pegreffii 모두에서 높은 활성을 나타냈으며, esterase (C 4)의 경우 somatic extracts에서만 가수분해효소 활성이 나타났는데 A. simplex (s.s.)가 A. pegreffii와 비교하여 3기와 4기 유충 모두에서 2배 가량 높은 활성을 나타냈다. alkaline phosphatase, acid phosphatase 그리고 naphthol-AS-BI-phosphohydrolase의 경우 A. simplex (s.s.)와 A. pegreffii 모두 3기 유충보다 4기 유충에서 더 높은 가수분해효소 활성이 확인되었다. Aminopeptidase 그룹의 가수분해효소 활성은 leucine arylamidase에서 관찰되었는데, somatic extracts의 경우 A. pegreffii 보다 A. simplex (s.s.)에서 가수분해 효소 활성이 두 배 가량 높게 확인되었으며, 대부분의 다른 효소들에서는 활성이 거의 나타나지 않았다. Glycosidase 그룹의 가수분해효소 활성은 N-acetyl-${\beta}$-glucosaminidase, ${\alpha}$-mannosidase 그리고 ${\alpha}$-fucosidase에서 확인되었는데, A. simplex (s.s.) 보다 A. pegreffii에서 높은 가수분해효소 활성을 확인할 수 있었으며, 대부분 4기 유충보다 3기 유충에서 더 높은 가수분해효소 활성이 확인되었다. 이러한 아니사키스속 선충의 종과 유충단계에 따른 가수분해 효소의 활성 차이는 선충의 성장, 탈피, 소화, 섭이 등의 대사과정의 차이에 기인한 것으로 생각된다.

I. galbana, P. lutheri 및 C. simplex 3종을 먹이로 공급하며, 미세조류 종류에 따른 피조개 유생과 부착치패의 성장과 생존율 등을 비교하였다. 서로 다른 미세조류 3종을 단일 또는 혼합하여 먹이로 공급한 피조개 유생의 성장은 혼합 공급구에서 가장 빠르게 나타내었고, 단일 공급구 중에서 C. simplex 공급구에서 가장 높은 성장을 보였다. 또 유생의 생존율은 혼합 공급구에서 $27.4{\pm}5.3%$로 가장 높게 나타내었고, 단일 공급구 중에서 C. simplex 공급구에서 $14.5{\pm}2.3%$로 가장 높았다. I. galbana, P. lutheri, C. simplex 3종을 단일 또는 동일비율로 혼합한 미세조류의 지방산 조성은 EPA의 경우 C. simplex에서만 $25.9{\pm}0.64%$로 나타났고, 다불포화지방산(PUFA)과 n-3 HUFA 함량은 C. simplex에서 가장 높게 나타났다. 또 이들 미세조류를 먹이로 공급한 피조개 부착치패의 경우 C. simplex 공급구에서 포화지방산과 AA 함량이 유의하게 높았다. 이와 같은 C. simplex의 지방산 조성이 피조개 유생과 부착치패의 성장과 생존율의 원인으로 판단된다. 따라서 단일종으로는 C. simplex가 가장 적합하나 3종을 혼합하여 공급하는 것이 더 좋은 먹이효율을 유도할 수 있다.

이 연구의 목적은 예비중등교사들의 실제적인 수학화 능력을 신장할 수 있도록 n-단체의 n-부피를 탐구하는 교수단원 를 설계하는 것이다. 이 교수단원에서는 2차원 도형인 삼각형의 넓이와 3차원 도형인 사면체의 부피를 n-단체의 n-부피로 일반화하는 것에 초점을 맞추고 있다. 이 일반화 과정에는 형식불역의 원리와 카발리에리의 원리가 적용된다. n-단체의 n-부피를 구하기 위해 n-직교삼각기둥을 정의하고, 그것의 n-부피를 공리적으로 탐색한다. 그리고 n-단체의 n-부피를 벡터와 행렬식을 이용하여 구한다. 이 교수단원을 통해 예비 중등교사들은 삼각형과 사면체의 일반화된 도형인 n-단체, 그리고 삼각형의 넓이와 사면체의 부피의 일반화된 n-단체의 부피를 이해하고 탐구할 수 있고, 학교수학과 학문수학의 자연스런 연결을 도모할 수 있다.

본 논문에서는 CDMA2000 역방향 링크에서 DS/CDMA 용 rake structure antenna away에 적용되는 새로운 방식의 simplex downhill 최적화 기법 빔포밍 알고리즘을 제안하고 있다. 본 논문에서 제안한 방법은 요구되는 신호(파일럿) 분산 행렬과 간섭 분산 행렬을 사용하고 있으며, 빔포밍 가중치들은 simplex downhill 최적화 알고리즘을 사용하여 최대 SINR 기준에 따라 만들어 졌다. 본 논문에서 제안한 구조는 기존의 적응 빔포밍 알고리즘보다 더 적은 계산량, 개선된 수렴 속도와 성능을 제공한다. Simplex downhill 방법은 최적화되기 위한 결정함수의 값만을 요구하기 때문에 최적화되거나 준최적화된 가중치 벡터를 찾기에 적합한 방식이다. 또한 rake beamformer 성능을 공간 채널모델에서의 여러종류 파라미터 값에 대하여 분석하였으며, 기존 방식의 rake 수신기와 제안된 방식을 동일한 수신 전력에서 비교 분석하였다.

본 논문은 추정회로와 기준 상관수신기를 이용하여 동기 DS/CDMA 시스팀에서 발생하는 다중접속간섭을 제거시키기 위한 시스팀을 제시한다. CDMA 시스템에서, 사용자 신호의 주파수대역을 확산시키기 위한 확산부호로 Simplex 부호 또는 위상 오프셋된 PN부호를 사용한다. Simplex 부호와 PN부호 각각은 유사한 상관특성을 갖는다는 것이 흥미로우며 이러한 부호를 DS/CDMA시스팀에 사용할 수 있다면 수용할 수 있는 사용자의 수를 증가시킬 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구에서는 Simplex 부호와 함께 PN 부호를 확산부호로 사용한 DS/CDMA 시스팀에서 발생하는 다원접속 간섭을 제거할 수 있는 간섭제거모델을 제시한다. AWGN 환경하에서 임의의 사용자에 의해서 발생하는 간섭을 해석하고, 동일 사용자 측면에서 일반 수신기와 성능을 비교한다.

We generate simplex polynomials by using a method, which produces an OPS in (d + 1) variables from an OPS in d variables and the Jacobi polynomials. Also we obtain a partial differential equation of the form $${\Sigma}_{i,j=1}^{d+1}\;A_ij{\frac{{\partial}^2u}{{\partial}x_i{\partial}x_j}}+{\Sigma}_{i=1}^{d+1}\;B_iu\;=\;{\lambda}u$$, which has simplex polynomials as solutions, where ${\lambda}$ is the eigenvalue parameter.

We prove two identities for multivariate Bernstein polynomials on simplex, which are considered on a pointwise. In this paper, we study good approximations of Bernstein polynomials for every continuous functions on simplex and the higher dimensional q-analogues of Bernstein polynomials on simplex.

Preprocessing is the essential technique in the implementation of the simplex method for large scale linear programming problems. In this research, we explained the effect of preprocessing in the simplex method, classified the techniques into four categories, and compared our results with those of HOPDM, CPLEX and Soplex by computational experiments. We also noted some implementing issues of preprocessing for the simplex method and the recovery of the optimal basis of the original problem from that of the preprocessed problem.
