용접 슬래그 배출량에 따른 Electro Gas 용접부의 기계적 특성 변화 (Mechanical properties of electro gas welds with different discharge amount of slag)

  • EGW process has been applied to joining of ship block with vertical-up position at high production rate. The workability of EGW, however, has been interrupted by too much slag production. Two electrodes EGW showed more severe workability than that of one electrode EGW. Therefore, to understand the effect of discharge amount of EGW slag on workability and mechanical properties, two different slag discharge amount have been controlled at the same welding conditions. The results are as follows; 1) Workability has been improved by any additional slag discharge. 2) Mechanical properties have been deteriorated with any additional slag discharge. 3) Chemical compositions of weld metal have been changed by any additional slag discharge.

선박블록 탑재용 러그구조의 설계합리화를 위한 연구 (A Study for Rationalization of Lifting Lug Design of Ship Block)

  • A basic study on the lifting lug design has performed through the rational and systematic process. In order to evaluate the proper design-load distribution around lug eye investigation of contact force between lifting lug and shackle pin is performed using non-linear parametric analysis idealized by gap element models. Gap element modeling and nonlinear analysis procedures are illustrated and discussed based on MSC/NASTRAN. Some analysis and design guides are suggested through the consideration of several important effects such as stress distribution pattern, circumferential contact force distribution along the lug eye face, loading share rate between lug main plate and doubler, effect of loading direction, relation between applied force and deflection and size effect of shackle pin radius. Additionally optimum design studies are performed and general trends according to the variation of design parameters are suggested.

  • Longitudinal shell member that arranged block unit on 3D-curved surface is performed manual working by designer considering spacing of division characteristic, location and twisting at geometrical 3-dimensional form. Shell expansion drawing that drawn by initial design and shell landing work performed by hull production design have overlap of design work in terms of arrangement of shell longitudinal member. In this study, eliminate design overlap on shell member arrangement that is one of ship longitudinal member. Develop shell member optimization and auto arrangement system.

  • The use of thin plate increases due to the need for light weight in large ship. Thin plate is easily distorted and has residual stress by welding heat. Therefore, the thin plates should be carefully joined to minimize the welding deformation. In this study, the welding deformation of PCTC which use a thin plate is investigated by using equivalent load method. The analysis model of 10, 11, 12, upper and garage deck is composed of thin plate of 6mm which is susceptible to welding heat. For two different welding sequences, the welding deformation is calculated and its trend is investigated. The influence of gravity on welding deformation is studied.

  • A fact that limits a company's ability to achieve more of its goal is referred to as a 'constraint' shipbuilding industries need to identify and manage constraints. The theory of constraints is evolved out of the problems of bottleneck formation. This happens and is conserved for the formulation if various real time problems for arriving standard uniquely addressed problems If, for example, the goal of a shipbuilding industry is to make money now and in the future, it is suggested that TOC will enable th mangers of the company to do so. TOC, focuses the organization scare resources on improving the performance of the true constraints, and therefore the bottom line of the organization. An attempt is made for the implantation of the theory into real world shipyard decision support mechanism.

  • 본 연구에서는 조선소 대형 블록 도장시설에서 배출되는 VOCs 가스처리를 위하여, 조선소 도장공정 및 배출가스 특성에 대한 분석 결과를 바탕으로, 이에 적합한 배출가스 저감장치를 구성하여 제안하였다. 본 연구에 제안된 저감장치는 펄스전원장치를 이용한 MSC(Multi Stage Corona)시스템 및 활성탄 흡착 시스템으로, 가스 처리능력이 우수하고, 종전 기술 RTO(Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer)에 비해 더 안전하고, 운전비용 면에서도 우수한 것으로 나타났다.

  • In the case of thin plate blocks, buckling deformation due to longitudinal shrinkage is the most important weld-induced deformation. This paper is concerned with developing the formula to predict the longitudinal shrinkage due to welding, in which mechanical tension effect in welding direction is accounted for. For this purpose, bead on plate welding test has been carried out for the 27 thin plate specimens with varying welding conditions and magnitude of tensile load. Empirical formula of predicting the longitudinal shrinkage has been derived based on the results of welding test, in which effect of mechanical tension is included. The derived formula can be usefully used in predicting the level of tensile load to reduce the longitudinal shrinkage.

  • 서해 연안의 개발은 갯벌의 감소로 해양생태계를 위협하고 있으며 산업화에 따른 대형 매립공사는 주변의 기상변화와 해상변화를 일으켜 해저지형 및 해안선에 많은 변화를 발생시키고 있다. 또한 선박의 안전한 입, 출항을 위한 항로에 영향을 주고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 해도에 나타난 기준선인 최저저조면의 해양 기준면에 근거한 해안선(0 m선), 수심 2 m선. 그리고 지형도에 근거한 해안선(육지부분)으로 나누어 수치화하였으며 수치화 된 도면을 4개의 구역으로 구분하여 분석함으로써 인천국제공항 건설, 신도시 개발, 방조제 공사 등의 서해 연안 개발에 따른 해안과 해저의 변화 정도를 알아보았다.

  • Earlier studies indicated clearly that information obtained from conventional statistics cannot provide guidance on detailed casualty analysis. Much more is needed if casualty statistics are to play a proficient and vigorous role in encouraging safety. Specific difficulties originate from making the causal relationships clear. Fault tree analysis and symbolic modeling of functional block diagram are an efficient aid in safety analysis so that these methods are generally used in other industries. This paper describes the application of these tools in shipping casualties and how to evaluate the relationships between different causes of ship casualties. Thesee methods are proved to be an efficient and useful tools to indicate the relationships between individual physical factors. In addition these models permit easy understanding and recognition of the factors leading to individual casualty

  • 근래에 조선 해양 구조물 분야의 대부분 설계와 공정 계획은 각 회사가 보유한 전용 CAD/CAM 시스템을 통해 수행되고 있다. 이는 설계 형상 및 생산 관련 정보들이 추출되어 시간과 인력이 소비되는 많은 분야에서 해당 정보를 유용하게 사용할 수 있는 프레임워크가 구축되는 초석이 마련되었음을 뜻하며, 가장 전형적인 예로 선박 및 해양 구조물의 생산에 있어서 용접 관련 정보 산출 문제가 있는데 초기 일정 계획에 있어서 사용될 용접물량의 정확한 예측은 구조물 중량 그리고 도장면적 산출과 더불어 생산 과정의 자연스런 흐름을 가능케 하며 예상 소요 인력과 비용을 확보할 수 있는 극히 중요한 과정으로 인식되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 ERP 시스템에서 추출된 구조물의 형상 및 생산정보로부터 정확한 용접장 및 용접물량을 추정할 수 있는 프레임워크를 구축하고 프로그램을 개발하였다. 산출된 용접 정보는 용접 자세, 조립단계, 블록, 베벨 그리고 용접타입에 따라 분류되며, 적절한 Factor를 통해 용접작업에 필요한 시수와 비용을 예측하는데 사용된다.
