바다양체 위상 표현을 바탕으로 한 박판 형상 모델링 및 솔리드로의 변환 (Sheet Modeling and Transformation of Sheet into Solid Based on Non-manifold Topological Representation)

  • In order to create a solid model more efficiently for a plastic or sheet metal product with a thin and constant thickness, various methods have been proposed up to now. One of the most typical approaches is to create a sheet model initially and then transform it into a solid model automatically for a given thickness. The sheet model as well as the transitive model in sheet modeling procedure is a non-manifold model. However, the previous methods adopted the boundary representations for a solid model as their topological framework. Thus, it is difficult to represent the exact adjacency relationship between topological entities and to implement the topological operations for sheet modeling and the transformation procedure of a sheet into a solid. In this paper, we proposed a sheet modeling system based on a non-manifold topological representation which can represent solids, sheets, wireframes, and their mixture. A set of generalized Euler operators for non-manifold topology as well as the sheet modeling capabilities including adding, bending, and punching functions are provided for easy modeling of sheet objects, and they are perfomed interactively with a two dimensional curve editor. Once a sheet model is completed, it can be transformed into a solid automatically. The transformation procedure is composed of the offset functions and the Boolean operations of sheet models, and it is even more comprehensive and easier to be implemented than the precious methods.

단열양생시트 종류 변화에 따른 한중콘크리트의 온도이력 (Temperature History of Concrete at Cold Weather Depending on the Kinds of Insulating Sheet)

  • This paper is to investigate temperature history of cold weather concrete depending on insulation curing sheet kinds. Insulating effect according to curing sheet is shown in order of 5 layer bubble sheet, combination of PE form and 3 layer bubble sheet and 3 layer bubble sheet. It maintained above $10^{\circ}C$ of minimum temperature until the completion of initial curing period when bubble curing sheet was supplied regardless of curing sheet kinds. Five layer bubble curing sheet secure higher curing temperature than any other curing sheet applied in this experiment by as much as $2{\sim}3^{\circ}C$, which performed remarkable insulation effect. Concrete applied with curing sheet secured above $65^{\circ}D{\cdot}D$ of maturity, at which concrete had 5MPa of compressive strength at 3 days.

저속 충돌제트에 의해 형성되는 액막의 속도 분포에 관한 연구 (A study on the Velocity Distribution of the Liquid Sheet Formed by Two Impinging Jets at Low Velocities)

  • In this research, the velocity distribution of the liquid sheet formed by two impinging jets at low velocities are measured using LDV. The spatial distribution of the sheet velocity as well as the effects of impinging anlge and jet velocity on the sheet velocity are examined. The sheet velocity is highest along the sheet axis and it decreases with the increase of the azimuthal angle. With the increase of the impinging angle, the average sheet velocity is decreased due to the increased impact momentum. The average sheet velocity is proportional to the jet velocity but it is always higher than the jet velocity. This result is against the fact that the sheet velocity can be assumed to be equal to the jet velocity in the previous researches.

H-pile로 보강된 Sheet pile 흙막이 벽체의 적용을 위한 수치해석 (Numerical Study for Application of Sheet Pile Retaining Wall Reinforced with H-pile)

  • 본 연구는 차수가 요구되는 현장에 Sheet Pile을 적용하려고 하나 풍화암 등의 지반조건으로 인해 항타관입성의 제한이 있을 때 H-Pile로 보강된 Sheet Pile 흙막이 벽체를 적용하기 위한 수치해석 연구이다. Sheet Pile을 H-Pile로 보강한 S/H 복합파일의 거동을 규명하기 위하여 Sheet Pile의 규격 2종류와 H-Pile 3종류의 부재조건 변화, Sheet Pile과 H-Pile의 설치 근입심도 변화, H-Pile의 설치간격, 굴착조건 등을 변화시킨 101개의 경우에 대해 광범위한 수치해석을 실시하였다. 수치해석 결과, Sheet Pile SP-IIIA와 H-Pile H250, Sheet Pile SP-IV와 H-Pile H350의 조합에서 두 부재가 동시에 허용응력에 도달하거나 같은 응력비를 갖는 것으로 나타나 이 기성제품 조합이 효율적임을 알 수 있었으며, S/H 복합파일의 강성이 증가할수록 벽체의 수평변위가 감소하였고 S/H 복합파일 중 Sheet Pile의 근입심도가 안정성에 미치는 영향은 작은 것으로 나타나 Sheet Pile은 지지층 내 관입이 가능한 위치까지만 설치하여도 차수 및 벽체강성 증가의 목적을 달성할 수 있을 것으로 분석되었다.

탄소섬유 쉬트를 활용한 도로 결빙방지 시스템 개발을 위한 기초연구 (Fundamental Study for Development of an Anti-Icing Pavement System Using Carbon-Fiber Sheet)

  • PURPOSES : This paper aims to develop a road pavement de-icing system using carbon sheet to replace the older snow de-icing method. Carbon sheet is a light and high-strength metal. Hence, various bodies of research for its applications in many industries have progressed. METHODS : The experiment was conducted in a laboratory. The carbon sheet supplied voltage through a power supply system, and produced heat transfers to the concrete surface. Various factors, such as pavement material, carbon sheet width, penetration depth, and freezing-thawing resistance, were considered in the conducted experiments to confirm the heating transfer efficiency of the carbon sheet. RESULTS : The carbon sheet used was a conductor. Therefore, it produced heat if voltage was supplied. The exposed carbon sheet on the atmosphere did not affect the carbon sheet width when it provided constant voltage. However, the sheet showed different heating behaviors by width change when the carbon sheet penetrated into the concrete. Moreover, the freezing-thawing resistance was decreased by the carbon sheet with increasing width. CONCLUSIONS : The experiments confirmed the possibility of developing a road snow melting system using a carbon sheet. The antiicing system using the carbon sheet to replace the traditional anti-icing system has disadvantages of environmental pollution risk and electric leakage. The pavement also improved its toughness resistance. The utilization value will be very high in the future if carbon sheet heat loss can be minimized and durability is improved.

알루미나 분말의 첨가에 따른 실리콘고무수지 함침 마이카시트의 특성 (Effects of Alumina Powder on the Properties of Mica Sheet Impregnated with Silicone Rubber Resin)

  • This paper describes electrical resistivity, dielectric strength, thermal conductivity, thermal stability and tensile strength of mica sheet impregnated with silicone rubber resin or silicone rubber resin containing alumina powder. The mica sheet impregnated with silicone rubber resin had higher electrical resistivity, dielectric strength and tensile strength than those of virgin mica sheet. Electrical resistivity of mica sheet impregnated with silicone rubber resin containing alumina increased with increasing the amount of alumina. However, dielectric strength and tensile strength of mica sheet impregnated with silicone rubber resin containing alumina decreased with increasing the amount of alumina. The mica sheet impregnated with silicone rubber resin had lower thermal conductivity than that of virgin mica sheet. However, thermal conductivity of mica sheet impregnated with silicone rubber resin conatining alumina increased with increasing the amount of alumina. In the case of thermal stability, thermal degradation of virgin mica sheet and impregnated mica sheet with silicone rubber resin did not occur up to $1100^{\circ}C$ and $400^{\circ}C$, respectively.

오리엔트 잎담배 부산물(scraps)을 이용한 판상엽 제조 (Manufacture of Sheet Tobacco Using Orient Scraps)

  • This experiment was conducted to reduce the cost of orient leaf using izmir, samsun and basma scraps in cigarettes manufacturing process. We manufactured rolled and paper sheet tobacco using orient scraps and substituted orient leaf in Pine tree to the rolled and paper sheet tobacco using orient scraps. Orient scraps were lower in total sugar, total sugar/nicotine and total nitrogen/nicotine, higher in nicotine and crude ash than those of orient leaves. Izmir and basma scraps were higher of 2-methyl butanoic, 3-methyl butanoic and 3-methyl pentanoic acid, but the chemical contents in samw scraps were lower than those of orient leaves. The specific gravity thickness, flness index, filling value were similar between orient scraps blended sheet tobacco and present sheet tobacco. The physical characteristics of orient scraps blended sheet tobacco were within Present sheet tobacco quality specification. The sheet tobacco using orient scraps was higher 2-metal butanoic, 3-methyl butanoic and 3-methyl pentanoic acid than those of present sheet tobacco. The rolled processed sheet tobacco using orient scraps was higher 2-methyl butanoic, 3-methyl butanoic and 3-methyl Pentanoic acid than those of paper sheet tobacco using orient scraps. The sample cigarettes using orient scraps sheet tobacco were lower 2-methyl butanoic, 3-mettwl butanoic and 3-mettwl Pentanoic acid than those of control cigarettes. The result of sensory test showed no great difference compared with sample of orient scraps and control cigarettes. This result shows that we can possible to substitute orient leaf to orient scraps to reduce the cost of orient leaf.

  • The Clad sheet is made roll-bonding process of the one or more material with the different property. Good formability is an essential property in order to deform a clad metal sheet to a part or component. In this study, the mechanical properties and formability of a Mg-Al-SUS clad sheet are investigated. The clad sheet was deformed at elevated temperatures because of its poor formability at room temperature. Tensile tests of the each material and clad sheet were performed at various temperatures and at various strain rates. The limited draw ration (LDR) was obtained using a deep drawing test to measure the formability of the clad sheet. A finite element (FE) analysis was performed to predict formability of the cup drawing product, one_layer model and three_layer model.

  • This study is performed to investigate shearing characteristics for vibration damping sheet metals which are bonded with dissimilar sheet metals. A shearing tool set is designed and manufactured and shearing tests with the tool set are conducted at varying the magnitude of clearance in order to analyze the shearing characteristics. The shearing characteristics are analyzed for burr height and shape of sheared faces with respect to the magnitude of clearance between the punch and the die. The shearing test results demonstrate that optimum clearance is $8{\sim}12%$ of the sheet thickness at the shearing of the vibration damping sheet metals and the shearing direction has to be controlled deriving occurrence of the burr at the thick sheet of the vibration damping sheet metals.
