  • 쌀바구미좀벌은 쌀바구미의 3영유충과 4영유충에 생난, 기생하였으며, 4영유충에 대해 현저한 선호성을 보였다. 기주가 4영유충일 때의 성비가 3영유충일 때에 비해 유의하게 높아서 생난시 암컷에 의해 인식되는 기주의 크기에 따라 좀벌의 성비가 조걸됨을 암시하였다.

아동의 성 도식과 성관련 과제의 기억 및 선호 (The Influence of Gender Schema on Children's Memory and Preference for Gender Related Tasks)

  • The primary purpose of this study was to investigate the validity of a component model of gender role and differences in children's gender concepts with age and sex. The secondary purpose was to investigate the relationship between children's gender schema and memory as well as preference for gender related task. 181 children were interviewed about gender concepts and gender related tasks. Results indicated that three dimensions of the component model (i. e., gender label-component links, within-component links, between-component links) were significantly related to each other. The mean scores of gender role knowledge and attitude were different with age but not with sex. The results of the regression analysis showed that children's age, sex, and gender role attitude explained both memory and preference for gender related tasks. The component model had better explanatory power than the simple model. The findings of the present study suggest that children's gender concepts are better described in terms of the component model than the simple model and may contribute to a theoretical rationale for gender schema theory.

  • The Purpose of this study was to investigate the preference of fashion style, the clothing attitude and the preferred fashion style based on sex-role attitude. Sample.; in this study were 305 white collar adult male in Seoul, Korea. The stimuli consisted of 16 color photographs made by identical manipulations of 4 independent variables (jacket, pants, vest, neck-tie) consisting of two levels each (classic and fashion style). For analyzing data, frequency analysis, percent, mean, standard deviation, ANOVA, $X^2$ test, Duncan test, and Cronbach's u were used The results are as follows. 1. According to the preference analysis of the fashion style, white collar adult male prefer to wear clothing style than fashion in all clothing style, except for rolled-up pants. 2. According to the fashion interest (I) based on the preference analysis of the fashion style, the fashion oriented group had high fashion interest (I) in jacket, pants, and neck-tie. 3. According to the clothing attitude based on the preference analysis of the fashion style; for jacket, the fashion oriented group had high fashion interest, but had no relation with status symbols consciousness, clothing conformity, individuality; for vest, the fashion oriented group had high fashion interest (II) and individuality, but had no relation with status symbols 4. According to the clothing attitude based on the sex-role attitude, the group of masculine and feminine had high score in fashion interest (II), status symbols consciousness, and individuality

  • This study examined the awareness of Chinese in their 20s in regards to Korean fashion brands and brand personality; in addition, it analyzed the effect of brand personality on brand preference and purchase intention. This study investigated the differences of the brand personality effect on brand preference and purchase intention according to brand, sex, and age. The results were as follows: 1) The three highly recognized fashion brands were Teenie Weenie, E-land, and The Basic House. 2) Brand personality was comprised of factors for competence, vitality, innovation, and emotion. 3) Brand preference was affected by vitality, competence, and innovation. Purchase intention was directly affected by brand preference and brand personality factors such as vitality, competence, and innovation. 4) The effect of brand personality on brand preference and purchase intention were different according to brand, sex, and age. These results can be used as basic data or information to help fashion companies develop marketing strategies for young Chinese people.

지역.연령.성별에 따른 식품선호도에 관한 연구 -서울.전남 일부 지역을 중심으로- (The Analysis of Food Preference According to Region, Age, Sex)

  • This study was surveyed the preference for the regional food and food choices according to Region, Age, Sex. The subjects were 943 residing in Seoul and Cheon Nam region. The summarized result are as follows; The survey about the preference for the regional food showed that subjects in Cheon Nam has higher preference for the Cheon Nam food and subjects in Seoul for the Seoul food respectively. The most subjects marked very high preference scores about familiar food. The preference for the regional food and food choices were effected by main growth region. Subjects brought up in Cheon Nam like Cheon Nam food especially fresh raw fishes(WHOI) and fermented fishes(CHOT GAL) more than those brought up in Seoul, although both of them reside in Seoul now. But they were brought up in Cheon Nam, subjects residing in Cheon Nam or Seoul now showed no difference in preference for Cheon Nam food. Subjects in Cheon Nam showed higher preperence for fresh raw fishes(WHOI), fermented fishes(CHOT GAL), especially in older men.

A Marriage Problem Using Threshold Algorithm

  • This paper deals with a newly proposed algorithm for stable marriage problem, which I coin threshold algorithm. The proposed algorithm firstly constructs an $n{\times}n$ matrix of the sum of each sex's preference over the members of the opposite sex. It then selects the minimum value from each row and column to designate the maximum value of the selected as the sum threshold $p^*_{ij}$. It subsequently deletes the maximum preference $_{mzx}p_{ij}$ from a matrix derived from deleting $p_{ij}$ > $p^*_{ij}$, until ${\mid}c_i{\mid}=1$ or ${\mid}c_j{\mid}=1$. Finally, it undergoes an optimization process in which the sum preference is minimized. When tested on 7 stable marriage problems, the proposed algorithm has proved to improve on the existing solutions.

  • The purpose of this study is to search 1) Favorite color preference for clothing 2) Concept development for respective color preference concerned with sex, and 3) concept development for clothing clolr and clothing design. The results are as follows. 1. Liked-color preference for clothing color; female children liked pink, and male children liked blue. 2. Disliked-color preference for colthing female children and male children disliked black color. 3. Boyish color; White, Green, Blue, Black. 4. Girlish color; Yellow red, Pink, Red, Pruple, Yellow. 5. Concept development for clothing color and clothing design; Children aknowledged more the colthing color than the colthing design.

농촌 청소년의 식품 기호도와 영양 섭취 실태와의 관계 (Food Preference and Nutrient Intake Status of High School Students in Rural Area of Korea)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the mutual relationship between food preference and nutrient intake status of high school students, based on the their personal characters which are sex, age, family type, number of family, mother's age, occupation, and school career. 439 students were selected with random stratified cluster sampling method. The study used a self-administrated questionnaire and 24-hour recall method for 5 days as instrument tools. Statistical methods applied to analyze the data were frequency, percent, Willcoxon Rank-sum test, Kruskal-Wallis test, ${x^2}-test$ by contingence table, and Spearman's correlation coefficient in non parametric statistical methods. Some of interesting results are as follows : 1. The correlation between sex and the set of characters of mother's age, school career and income is highly significant. However there is no any significant difference on the kinds of job and the types of family. 2. The relation between the preference of main dishes and the nutrient intake show a significant difference except to the noodles. This marks that preference of main dishes shows a direct proportion with the nutrient intakes except for the fat, vitamin A, vitamin C. 3. The preference of animal food marks a direct proportion with the nutrients such as energy, protein, fat, fiber, phosphorus, iron, vitamin $B_{1}$, vitamin $B_{2}$, and niacin 4. The preference of vegetable food gives some influence on the nutrient intake but the preference of soup is insignificant, the preference of Kimchi is in reverse proportion, and the preference of vegetable marks a direct proportion with the nutrient intake. 5. The preference of snacks marks a direct proportion with all kinds of nutrients intake except for the vitamin A, and vitamin C.

중학생의 의복관여도에 따른 교복의 만족도와 선호도에 관한 연구 (School Uniform Satisfaction and Preference According to Level of Clothing Involvement)

  • The study was initiated to research on the school uniform preference, satisfaction according to demographic factors and clothing involvement. Data were administered to 513 adolescence in middle school student living in Sunchon. For analysis of the data, frequencies, percentage, means, standard deviation, ${\chi}^2$-test, one-way anova, and duncan's multiple range test were employed. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. 1) school uniform satisfaction were shown to have the significant differences according to sex, father's occupation and education, income, the type of school. 2) school uniform preference were shown to have the significant differences according to sex, parent's education, father's occupation, income, social stratification, the type of school. 3) clothing involvement were shown to have the significant differences according to mother's education, income, social stratification. 4) school uniform preference were shown to have the significant differences according to level of clothing involvement. The higher was clothing involvement, the higher was preference to 'no static electricity', 'fashionable one' and 'one with fine air permeability and water absorbency' of school uniform.

한국의 남아선호관 변화추세 (Prevalence and Strength of Son Preference in Korea)

  • Focusing on the strength of son preference obtained from two surveys of the same area, an attempt has been made to measure the change on the IS value scale that many have occurred over the last seven-year period, the underlying assumption here being that the strength of son preference wanes in inverse proportion to the level of society's socio-economic development. Various methodological approaches have been put to test to weigh the importance of the sex preference as a dependent variable, as an independent variable, and as an intermediate variable. A few methodological issues are suggested.
