Recently, robot technology is actively going on progress to the field of various services such as home care, medical care, entertainment, and etc. Because these service robots are in use nearby person, they need to be operated safely even though hardware and software faults occur. This paper proposes a Fault-Tolerant middleware for a robot system, which has following two characteristics: supporting of heterogeneous network interface and processing of software components and network faults. The Fault-Tolerant middleware consists of a Service Layer(SL), a Network Adaptation Layer(NAL), a Network Interface Layer(NIL), a Operating System ion Layer(OSAL), and a Fault-Tolerant Manager(FTM). Especially, the Fault-Tolerant Manager consists of 4 components: Monitor, Fault Detector, Fault Notifier, and Fault Recover to detect and recover the faults effectively. This paper implements and tests the proposed middleware. Some experiment results show that the proposed Fault-Tolerant middleware is working well.

Cloud computing-related security incidents have occurred recently are beyond the scope of a enterprise's security incident is expanded to the entire range of customers who use the cloud computing environment. The control technology for the overall integrated security of the cloud data center is required for this purpose. This study research integrated and additional security elements for the cloud data center control to understand the existing control technology. It is a better understanding of the IaaS cloud environment to build the IaaS cloud environment by CloudStack. SW-IaaS cloud structure by combining CloudStack and IaaS cloud model presented by NIST is proposed in this study. This paper derive a security framework to consider in each layer of The SW-IaaS cloud components, which are composed of the Cloud Manager, Cluster Manager, and Computer Manager.

MPEG-4 provides high compression rate and uses object-oriented method to describe components of its structure, which has currently risen as the core technique in multimedia service fields. Our research objective is to provide object manager to MPEG-4 system in order that effective multimedia service could be available by supporting powerful interaction and adapting to various networks and terminals. Through the object manger, priorities are given to objects of a scene tree and the objects having higher priorities are first rendered according to the terminal capability. It also manages synchronization and update of the scene tree and object informations caused by user interactions.

This study aims to establish a research model to analyze the structural relationship between the working environment of the elderly medical welfare facility workers, the trust of the manager, and the quality of service. As a result, first, it was found that there was a significant causal relationship among service quality in the working environment of the elderly medical welfare facility workers. Second, it was found that there was a significant causal relationship between the working environment and the trust of managers of the elderly medical welfare facility workers. Therefore, in order to achieve the goal of the elderly medical welfare facility and improve the quality of service, it is necessary to create a working environment and establish a trust relationship among members. In addition, in order to cultivate competency and provide high-quality services for the elderly medical welfare facility workers, managers need to understand the individual characteristics of members, and to assign duties according to roles, accurate division of duties and personnel management are required.

In this paper, we suggest the GUI Management Tool, named K-Manager, for management and service of science and technology information that stored in distributed retrieval databases. Generally, it must be adapted retrieval database system for web based S&T contents service. But, It is inconvenient contents manager or the system administrator controls information easily, because it does not support the S&T information management process like TOAD, which can use for the relation database, in information retrieval database system. Using K-Manager, content manager can process the S&T content and system manager can manage the databases easily. The proposed tool active controls information effectively which is stored in the distributed retrieval database which guarantee the safety management of the contents stored in database and operate retrieval with efficient performances. Our tool consists of two sub systems, one is content manager, the other is database manager for YESKISTI based on KRISTAL-IRMS.

We must solve problems caused by mobile computing environments for supporting efficient mobile computing services. The problem is the use of wireless medium having high error rates and low bandwidth, and the sudden network disconnection to reduce the power consumption of a mobile host and the cost of the network connection. For these problems, we proposed the architecture of the partial connection manager and designed and implemented that in this paper. In particular, The partial connection manager creates the limited number of mobile agents according to priority and sends them in parallel to server systems and combines results of them process rapidly the user request. By applying the proposed partial connection manager to the mobile computing services called cybermarket, we knew that the mobile agent technique could be suited to the mobile computing environment and overcome the partial connection problem caused by eh mobile computing environment.

While many of company try to increase customer satisfaction by empowerment, there are need to figure out which can increase employee's problem solving ability in company side. It is related to Innovative Activity that can create new idea to fix job process. In this study, researcher institute a factor that 'Manager's Job Competency' which can increase member's Innovative Activity. And try to figuring out it has what kind of effect on innovative activity and management performance through empirical method. For the empirical study, researcher get 119 samples from service industry, and result of study show us manager's job competency has positive effect on member's innovative activity and management performance. Base on this result, researcher provide a manageric implication and limitaions of study.

This study was performed to review applying the case management to the occupational health nursing as a cost-effective way for injured workers. The case management for injured workers is a comprehensive management system, which is composed of planning and implementing in cooperation with employee, employee' family, medical service provider team, employer and case manager, to provide high quality health services to employee and their family. The case management process for injured workers is similar to the nursing process. It thus appears that the occupational health nurse is best personnel to perform the role of case manager for injured workers in workplace. As a case manager in workplace. the occupational health nurse would be expected to get both knowledge and experiences, to get trusted from the employee and employer, and to expand professional domain in changing health care environment.

In order to meet the different requirements of a wide variety of user applications, the network should support the different quality of service requirements for different applications. While 3GPP has specified a number of QoS profiles for a 3G-GPRS (or UMTS), the implementation of QoS management is an issue. This paper presents the QoS management functions in the 3G-GPRS. The QoS management involves service manager, translation function, admission/capability control, and subscription control of users, and mapping function, classification function, resource manager, and traffic conditioner of user traffic. It also describes the QoS Management procedure during the session management when setting up the bearers.
