Due to the development of information technology, Convergence and Creative Economy became hot issues. For example, products become more intelligent and services are likely to be connected and integrated around core services or provided as bundle solution. Meanwhile products and services are integrated in the context of mutual supplementation, which leads to Servitization of Products and Productization of Services in many industries. Previous studies have addressed Convergence with different terms and definitions such as Convergent, Multicategory Multifunctional Product, Clouding Service, Bundle and so on from one perspective such as consumers, suppliers or technology according to a wide range of academic approaches. Thus, this study attempted to suggest the most typical convergence products released in the convergence environment and categorize those products. Furthermore, this study has pointed out the problems in the New Product Development Framework discussed in the studies on marketing by taking the situation of the public sector into account and then suggested "New Service Development Framework in the Public Sector" that are different from traditional e-Gov. approach basically and will enable the government to create public information service and provide them to enterprises or citizens. It also emphasized the importance of Business Conceptualization Stage in the framework; argued that there is a necessity of an integrative study from the perspective of technology on the basis of the approach from the perspective of marketing and Policy such as a study of consumer behaviors, design and marketing channel and Policy Integration for the development and dissipation; and furthermore suggested the cases-the development/Diffusion of Transportation Card Service in Seoul and CFC (Call for Collaboration) in Singapore-in order to verify the framework. There is a need to supplement New Service Development Framework so it is able to reflect the distinct characteristics of the public sector from the academic perspective and be used as practical guidelines for SI (System Integration) business to shift into IT Service business. Last but not the least, this study has suggested the limitations and the directions for the future studies.

In this paper, we designed a new type of X-internet framework by using Flash component and server service API and analyzed its performance. Proposed X-internet framework uses Flash MX Professional 2004, Java, and software which opened middleware and database. Since proposed framework use the server service API that we developed in this paper and Flash player, this framework does not need server module. Proposed framework enables to obtain design with dynamic user interface compare to Web application and enables to reduce development time. In analytical results, it has been shown that proposed x-internet framework have efficient characteristics such as network traffic, low development cost and dynamic user interface implementation. Since proposed X-internet framework can operate in environment of current developer friendly, it is useful for development of various new application programs and we confirm it through Flash web mail implementation by using proposed x-internet framework.

유비쿼터스 시대가 도래함에 따라 서비스 지향 적응형 시스템의 중요성이 커지고 있다. 서비스 지향 적응형 시스템의 개발 단계에 있어, 개발자들은 상황이나 서비스 탐색과 관련한 문제들에 부딪히게 된다. 지금까지 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위한 연구들이 개별적으로 수행되어 왔지만, SOA를 적응형 시스템에 도입하여 통합적으로 문제를 해결하는 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구는 서비스 지향 적응형 시스템 개발에 관련된 문제들을 해결하는 통합 프레임워크를 제안한다. 먼저 프레임워크의 프로세스를 정의하고 각 프로세스 요소 별로 지원 방법과 산출물을 설명한다. 그리고 시스템의 개발 단계에서 구체적인 서비스의 사례를 통해 본 프레임워크의 프로세스가 어떻게 적용될 수 있는지 살펴본다.

본 논문은 클라우드 컴퓨팅 환경에서 개발 재사용성을 향상시켜줄 수 있는 PaaS 기반의 클라우드 서비스를 제공하는 것이다. PaaS 기반의 클라우드 서비스는 개발 측면에서 제공될 수 있는 플랫폼 클라우드 서비스로서 기존의 개발 도구나 관리 도구 서비스의 수준을 넘어서 재사용 프레임워크 서비스를 제공한다. 이러한 재사용 프레임워크 서비스는 다양하게 분산되어 있는 서비스를 활용하여 개발의 재사용성을 향상시켜 줄 수 있을 것이다.

Digital technology has been changing everyday life of ordinary people let alone the structure of world industry. The elderly care service is also going through changes influenced by the unavoidable impact from torrents of digital technologies. There are numerous reports and news about the digital technologies increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of care service yet lacking systematic understanding of the sources of such improvement. This study aims to present a new classification framework for digital elderly care service innovation to fully utilize the power of digital technologies drawing on insights from innovation studies and service studies. First, 4 features of digital technologies are identified as sources of new value in service innovation. The co-creation of value by users and producers in service and technology development is discussed to illuminate users' contributions to service innovation. Communication of needs and ideas with producers and application of new technologies into everyday practice of life are identified as the source of new value which can be attributed to the elderly. Customization along with efficiency gains is the key to digital elderly care service innovation. The classification framework, thus, incorporates the needs of the elderly as one axis of criteria in the conventional technology-centered framework. The new classification framework would help give due weight to user-driven or demand-driven innovation in the elderly care service R&D activities.

최근 서비스 기반의 소프트웨어 개발이 사용자의 다양한 요구를 충족시킬 수 있는 하나의 솔루션으로 부각되면서, 안정적인 서비스의 조합을 통하여 보다 큰 서비스를 제공하려는 시도가 증가하고 있다. 그러나 조합된 서비스의 개발시 고려되어야 하는 사항중의 하나는 사용자의 입장에서 서비스의 정확성과 함께 신속성을 제공해야 한다는 것이다. 왜냐하면 사용자가 서비스의 요청 과정에서 늦은 응답으로 인하여 실행 버튼을 중복적으로 클릭하는 행동을 보이기 때문이다. 본 논문에서는 조합된 서비스의 성능을 측정하기 위한 테스팅 프레임워크를 제시한다. 즉, 조합된 서비스의 실행 시간을 측정함으로써, 개발자에게 서비스의 성능을 분석할 수 있는 도구를 제공한다. 이러한 실행시간 측정을 위하여 본 연구에서는 Aspect 컴포넌트를 이용하는 타이머 서비스를 개발하여 기존 웹 서비스들과 연동할 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 몇 실험을 통하여 조합된 서비스의 성능 테스트가 가능함을 확인하였다. 제시한 프레임워크는 조합된 서비스를 구성하는 단위 서비스 중에서 가장 많은 시간이 소요되는 서비스를 식별하고 필요에 따라 다른 서비스로 대체할 수 있는 서비스 개발을 가능하게 한다.

The competitiveness of the service sector is driven by its productivity. Services innovation is essential to enhancing service productivity. This paper first presents a framework for services innovation. The framework consists of three main phases of a service lifecycle (namely, service development, service operation, and service improvement), which are supported by IT infrastructure and service R&D management functions. This paper then identifies major research issues that should be investigated in the near future. The current issues of three representative service industries (namely, healthcare service, telecommunications service, and financial service) are also discussed.

It is expected that the next generation mobile communication system will be a service-driven developed system capable to realize the human-centric mobile convergence services. and it is different from the technology-driven development approach of the second and the third generation mobile communication systems. As a preliminary research work on such service-driven system development approach for the next generation mobile communication system. we developed the scenario based service analysis process (2SAP) framework to derive core service technologies and functionalities. In this paper. we propose the next generation mobile convergence service business model creation methodology based on research results of the 2SAP framework. To achieve this goal, we first establish a service model contains several components such as infrastructures. operations. and provision of services that are indispensible for providing next generation mobile services. Then, the next generation mobile services and its corresponding business models can be created by adding service and value flows to the developed service model after defining necessary components of business model including actors, their relationships, and roles.

기후 온난화에 의한 한반도의 아열대화된 기후는 국지성 폭우가 내는 경향을 높이고 있으며 이로 인해 돌발홍수등의 피해가 증가하고 있다. 국지성 폭우의 피해를 피하기 위해 대규모의 클라이언트들에게 국지성 폭우 예보 서비스가 필요하지만 이러한 서비스를 가능하게 하는 무선 데이터 방송 기반의 서비스 프레임워크 개발이 보고된 것이 없다. 본 논문에서는 대규모 클라이언트들에게 정보 서비스를 가능하게 하는 무선데이터 방송 기법을 이용하여 국지성 폭우 예보 서비스를 가능하게 하는 프레임워크를 설계하고 구현한다. 개발된 서비스 프레임워크는 다양한 데이터 스케줄링 기법과 인덱싱 기법을 적용할 수 있는 확장성을 가진다. 시뮬레이션을 통해 성능을 평가하여 개발된 프레임워크가 효율적으로 국지성 폭우 예보 서비스를 제공함을 보였다.

Today, many companies realize that the effort to develop new products / services faster that customers want and continue to purchase is crucial for their survival. As the service sector is rapidly growing, one of the challenges faced by the service industries is the lack of effective methodologies for new service development. This paper proposes a systematic framework for developing new service concepts, with an emphasis on generating innovative, convergence-type service concepts from the customer‘s perspective. The framework consists of three phases-identification of customer needs (Phase I), extraction of new service opportunities (Phase II), and generation of new service concepts (Phase III). The proposed framework is demonstrated through a case study in the telecommunications industry. In the case study, a survey was conducted on ten customers to identify the latent customer needs; 61 new service opportunities were extracted; and 129 new service concepts were generated.
