A single crystal cast blade was manufactured by CMSX 6, one of the first generarion nickel based single crystal superalloys by the selector method in a vacuum furnace. The single crystal has been grown with cooling rate of 2.5 mm/min, after pouring the molten alloy of 163$0^{\circ}C$ to the mold heated to 150$0^{\circ}C$. The cast structure could be classified into matrix (dendrite) and eutectic regions in ${\gamma}$'shape and size. The eutectic region showed higher Ti content. As the additional results of ${\gamma}$'precipitates by EPMA and CBED analysis the ${\gamma}$'size was less than 0.5~0.7$\mu\textrm{m}$, showing the chemical composition close to Ni$_3$Al of Ll$_2$ lattice structure. But ${\gamma}$'size has increased to bigger than 1.0$\mu\textrm{m}$, being near to eutectic region, changing its shape to bar or huge block types. These showed the chemical structure near to Ni$_3$Ti of D $O_{24}$ lattice structure. Therefore, ${\gamma}$'morphology of dendrite and eutectic regions depends absolutely on its chemical composition and lattice structure.
This study was carried out to investigate the effects of addition of pork fat, olive oil and soybean oil on the quality and sensory of ground pork meat. The samples consisted of the ground pork meat containing 20% pork fat (GP-P), 20% olive oil (GP-O), and 20% soybean oil (GP-S). The chemical composition, surface color, fatty acid composition, water hold-ing capacity, pH, VBN content and TBARS value were determined for the ground pork meat as the quality characteristics, and the sensory score were also evaluated. The moisture, crude protein, crude fat and crude ash content were not different among the GP-P, GP-O and GP-S. The $L^{*}$(lighaess), $a^{*}$(redness) and $b^{*}$(yellowness) of /GP-P were higher than those of the GP-O and GP-S (p<0.05). Palmitic acid was the most abundant among saturated fatty acids, and palmitic acid content of GP-P (24.384%)was higher than that of the GP-O (15.611%) and GP-5 (14.423%). In case of unsaturated fatty acids, oleic acid of GP-P (43.773%) and GP-O (65.040%) were the highest, linoleic. acid for GP-5 (40.762) was the highest. The water holding capacity of GP-P was higher than that of the GP-0 and GP-5, the pH of GP-S was higher than that of the GP-P and GP-O, and the VBN content and TBARS value of GP-P was higher than that of the GP-O and GP-5 (p<0.05). The raw color of GP-0 and GP-S were higher than that of the GP-P (p<0.05), however the raw aroma was not different among the samples. In case of roasted ground pork meat, the aroma was not different among the samples, the taste, texture and palatability or GP-S were the highest among the samples, and the juiciness of GP-O and GP-S were higher than that of the GP-P(p<0.05).
This study was conducted to select the indicator species (plant) according to the topographical characteristics in the Picea jezoensis forests, endangered subalpine coniferous trees. In South Korea and China (close to Baekdusan), the southern tree line limit of Picea jezoensis has meaningful geographical and latitudinal values for analyzing the ecological characteristics of P. jezoensis forests. Latitude greatly affects the geographical values of plant ecology, and the difference in latitude and habitat affects the change in species composition in forests. With prolonged environmental change, the habitat of subalpine plants will become smaller, and the plants may become extinct. As the P. jezoensis forests of South Korea and China, in particular, are in danger of disappearing without protection, it is important to monitor the population and develop a conservation strategy. Eighty-seven circular plots were established in P. jezoensis forests in South Korea and China. Through processes such as MRPP-test and NMS ordination, indicator species were selected based on this, and basic data for biodiversity assessment were presented. As a result of the Indicator Species Analysis (ISA), 5 taxa were selected from the upperstory vegetation and 18 taxa from the understory vegetation at the altitude(p<0.05). Indicator species by aspect were analyzed as 3 taxa for upperstory vegetation and 16 taxa for understory vegetation (p<0.05). In the case of indicator species according to the slope, 6 taxa for upper vegetation and 24 taxa for understory vegetation were selected(p<0.05). As for the indicator species according to their habitat, 8 taxa in upper vegetation and 65 taxa on understory vegetation were selected. As a result of MRPP-test, it was analyzed that the species composition was heterogeneous in the group of understory vegetation than that of upperstory vegetation. As a result of NMS ordination, the correlation with environmental factors of indicator species was analyzed by rock exposure for upperstory vegetation and latitude for understory vegetation (cut off level=0.3).

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of long-term aerobic dancing exercise on body composition, physical fitness and mental function in older women over 70 years old. All subjects were limited to older women aged 70 to under 85. The experimental group performed aerobic exercise of 2-3 times a week for 9.2 ± 4.6 yrs, and the control group did not perform any regular exercise and spent 3-4 times a week mainly in the relaxing facility for older. As a results in this study, the weight, muscle mass and body fat percentage of the aerobic group were not significantly different from those of the control group, but there were significantly positive effects of aerobic group in visceral fat mass, abdominal obesity rate(%), body water content and systolic blood pressure(p < .05). In terms of physical fitness, Sit & reach, one-legged stand (right) and TUG of the aerobic group were significantly higher than those of the control group(p < .05), but there were no significant differences between two groups in the shoulder flexibilities and grip strength. MMSE as a cognitive function was not significantly different between the two groups, but GDS was significantly lower in the aerobic group than in the control group(p < .05). According to the correlation analysis between all variables and MMSE and GDS, MMSE was significantly inversely correlated with height (r = -0.425)(p < .05), and no correlation was detected with other variables. However, GDS have signitively negative correlations with resting heart rate(r = -0.464), sit & reach(r = -0.525) left(r = -0.491) and right grip strengths(r = -0.635) as well as positive correlation systolic blood pressure(r = 0.482) and TUG (r = 0.479), respectively(p < .05). In conclusion, long-term aerobic exercise of elderly women over 70 older had positive effects on variables related to metabolic disease (visceral fat and resting heart rate), silver fitness variables related to falls, and depression level in the elderly.

We have studied characteristics of community structure on the benthic macro-invertebrates at twelve selected sites in upstream, midstream and downstream of Paemsagol, Piagol, Chilseongol and Daeseonggol, major streams of Jirisan Mountain, for three years from April 2008 to September 2010. As a result, 2 phyla, 3 classes, 11 orders, 41 families, 119 species and 4,449 individuals of benthic macro-invertebrates have been collected and classified in this study. Among them EPT group (Ephemeroptera, Plecoptera, Trichoptera), commonly appearing taxa in clean stream ecosystem, was found most frequently. The highest species number of benthic macro-invertebrates were collected in 2008, the year with lower climatic influence including heavy rain. In almost all of survey sites 80% or over of EPT group were counted, and St. 1 scored highest rate of EPT group at 92.59%. Most dominant species was Ecdyonurus kibumensis at 12.83% of dominance index, and subdominant species was Goerodes KUb at 6.81% of dominance index. The investigation of the feeding function group indicated that gathering-collectors were dominant with 26 species and 1,334 individuals, while the number of filtering-collectors was lowest with 11 species and 230 individuals. This result represents that the feeding function group of Jirisan Mountain is mountainous stream-specific one. Both diversity index and richness index were lowest at the midstream of Chilseongol (St. 5), while the midstreams of Daeseonggol (St. 11) and Piagol (St. 8) were highest in diversity and richness indices respectively. The analyses of linear regression and correlation were performed in order to investigate and to predict the appearance aspect of EPT group by altitude. The results showed that the ratio of Plecopteran species number has increased by the elevation of the altitude at 0.05 significance level. Cluster analysis was also carried out for evaluating environmental similarities among survey sites. As a result, upper regions of Paemsagol (St. 1) and Piagol have clustered as most similar sites each other, while the midstream of Piagol (St. 8) has separated with lower similarity value than other sites in species composition.
Safety is not a service provided selectively by the country, and it is a basic right that human beings should enjoy. However, as the recent expansion of outsourcing due to the efficient corporate management, fatal accidents such as the Taean Power Plant where subcontractors are pinched on conveyors continued to occur. In addition, public safety concerns have been widespread as there are constant safety-related accidents in public institutions such as KTX trains derailing. As public institutions require safety as a top priority for management rather than profit, the government needs a leading role to enhance the level of private safety activities. The government announced the "Measures to strengthen the workplace safety of public institutions" and is promoting measures to protect the lives and safety of the people. The purpose of this study was to in-depth analysis of the accident and death situation in public institutions in the last 5 years from 2014 to 2018. A recognition survey was also conducted and the results were analyzed. As a result of the analysis of industrial accident death, it showed that the number of industrial accident deaths in public institutions was about 50 people per year, and it occupied about 6.1% of all industrial accidents. Following the government's public policy measures, positive changes as a result of the survey on awareness were detected in the order of rising safety awareness and participation of management (56.9%), safety and health organization and personnel composition (37.9%), and increasing safety awareness and participation of members (18.9%). However, the obstacles to the implementation of government measures were followings; 1) consciousness and lack of participation (42.1%), 2) indifference from other departments (35.1%), 3) absence, or lack of competency of safety manager (33.3%). In addition, safety investments and safety management of contractors and ordering works were analyzed to have remained largely unchanged even after the implementation of safety measures. Through this study, it is intended to provide basic data for strengthening the level and activities of safety in public institutions.
During global recessions, such as the 2008 financial crisis, Korean shipping companies have been undergoing a liquidity crisis that is comparably worse than other shipping companies worldwide. One of the reasons behind this repetitive vicious cycle can be the lack of ability to foresee the future by analyzing and understanding the volatile shipping market. Traditionally, in order to assimilate the shipping market, larger Korean shipping companies have been purchasing market reports published by Europe-based research companies and shipping brokers, leading to a digital divide by company size. To resolve this issue, the Maritime Exchange Information Center (MEIC) has been publishing shipping market reports that include essential shipping information such as freight rates by different routes; commodity trends for iron ore, grain, and coal; ship-building trends for new-building, second-hand, and demolition markets; as well as bunker price and port congestion. This research was conducted to analyze the effectiveness of four variables-information usefulness, market reflection, information composition, and latest information-on information satisfaction. If the information satisfaction was found to be adequate, the analysis of actual proof was used to determine if the customers would be willing to purchase MEIC's report when it is chargeable. All the four variables were found to have positive effects on information satisfaction. In particular, latest information was found to directly affect the intention to purchase. Furthermore, high information satisfaction was related to the intention to purchase.
Gochujang sauces were prepared with 5, 10, 15, and 20% concentrated pomegranate juice(CPGJ) and analyzed with the control for quality characteristics such as proximate composition, viscosity, pH, acidity, $^{\circ}Brix$, $^{\circ}Brix$/acidity ratio, color, and sensory qualities in order to determine the optimal ratio of CPGJ in the formulation. Moisture content, crude ash, viscosity, pH, Brix/acidity decreased, while acidity, Brix increased with increasing CPGJ content. In terms of color, lightness and yellowness decreased as CPGJ content increased however, the control group had significantly(p<0.05) higher redness than the CPGJ samples. For the sensory evaluation, color was not significantly(p>0.05) different among the samples. As the CPGJ content increased, flavor, viscosity, and overall acceptability decreased, whereas sourness, acrid taste, bitterness, astringency, and off-flavor increased. In conclusion, the results indicate that the addition of 10% CPGJ to Gochujang sauce is optimal, and provides good physiological properties as well as reasonably high overall acceptability.
This study was conducted to assess macro- and micronutrient compositions in school lunch menus based on the 'Dietary Guideline' for School Lunches. Ninety-five dieticians in elementary school in Chungbuk were asked to complete a questionnaire on characteristics of the school lunch program(such as type of foodservice, food production system), the information about dietitians(such as age, education, and job history), and the extent of the use of processed foods and frozen foods. Dey were asked to return the questionnaire with the menus including the name and the quantity of every food ingredient offered during a week. A total of 554 lunch menus provided for a week of June 2004 were analyzed. Average nutrient content per meal was as follows; 660kcal, energy; 92.9g, carbohydrate; 26.7g, protein; 21.1g, fat; 287 ${\mu}gRE$, vitamin A: 0.5mg, thiamin; 0.5mg, riboflavin; 29.3mg, vitamin C: 338.2mg, calcium; 3.9mg, iron; and 97mg, cholesterol. Average percentages of energy from carbohydrate, protein and fat was 56.2%, 16.2%, and 29.0%, respectively. The mean nutrient content per meal was higher in rural-type than in urban-type schools. The weekly menu of 40% of the schools provided <55% of energy from carbohydrate, and 39% of the schools offered lunch that provided ${\geq}30%$ of energy from fat. The micronutrient content was generally high when the percent energy from fat was less than 25%. Our results showed that only 52.6% of the schools provided lunches with the energy composition as in the 'Dietary Guideline' of School Lunches. Whole Milk was the major contributor to fat, saturated fatty acid and cholesterol. We suggest that school foodservices start to provide low fat milk instead of whole milk to reduce fat, saturated fatty acid and cholesterol. If low fat milk is served instead of whole milk, percentage of energy from fat and saturated fat can be reduced from 29% to 25%, and ken 10.2% to 9.1%, respectively, and cholesterol could be reduced from 97mg to 79mg. Efforts to meet 'Dietary Guideline' for School Lunches should be made, especially to reduce fat intake, while maintaining essential nutrient intake at sufficient levels for childen.
The standard method for somatic cell counts in goat milk is the direct microscopic method after a pyronin Y-methyl stain. It has been reported, however, that are found to differ by measuring methods, but. A total of forty eight goat milk samples from eight farms were compared by pyronin Y-methyl stain, ADAM-SCC in National Institute of Animal Science, and Somacount 500 in Chungbuk Veterinary Service. The average SCC of the samples was $7.3{\times}10^5$ cells/mL by pyronin Y-methyl stain, $4.9{\times}10^5$ cells/mL by ADAM-SCC, and $11.6{\times}10^5$ cells/mL by Somacount 500. The correlations between the methods were not significant. SCC measuring equipment should be developed for reducing the SCC in goat milk, and pyronin Y-methyl green stain for estimating SCC in goat milk should be included in NVRQS Notice for livestock products processing and composition standards.
