  • In general, estimates of average service lives and of mortality functions are less well-based than most types of economic statistics published by statistical offices. Therefore, hypotheses about service lives of tangible assets and their distribution are most difficult aspects to tackle. In this paper, estimates of service lives based on directly observed data on domestic industrial property and retirement rates are presented.

  • Intelligent Network offers network operators significant opportunities to provide new services such as Freephone service and Credit Calling service. To realize the IN capabilities it is required to introduce several new components into the existing telecommunication network. Among them Service Control Point is regarded as a keystone node of Intelligent Network. This paper discusses the architecture design and implementation of NICS(Network Information Control System), which is a combined system of SCP and SMS. Service processing aspects are discussed in detail among the functions of NICS, and service management and test environment of service logic are presented also. The field trial of NICS which has been developed to provide Freephone Service and Credit Calling Service is scheduled at the end of 1993.

  • The appearance and evolution of cloud service is potentially one of the major advances in information and communication technology. However, it is necessary to identify and understand the various issues of cloud service, both from the perspectives of the providers and the consumers of it. While a lot of studies such as cloud business model, profit model and technology itself are currently taking place in cloud service considering provider's aspects, there are a few researches dealing with cloud service user's aspects. This paper presents the user behavior analysis focused on SaaS users and discusses the development strategy of SaaS service based on the results of user behavior analysis. In order to analyze the user behavior, we surveyed SaaS users divided into two groups such as present and future user groups. Eventually, we proposed the SaaS prospects, development strategy and policy issues based on user behavior analysis.

  • This study analyzed relative importance among business model factors for improving business performance of Knowledge Service Enterprises using the Business Model methodology. It also compares and analyzes the relative importance of manufacturing enterprises by using the previous research conclusion. This study finds Product & Service factor(0.361) is the most important among Marketing(0.251), Financial aspects(0.234), and Infrastructure(0.154) are follows. For the sub factors, Value Proposition(0.254) is the most importance factors and Revenue Streams(0.154), and Key Activities(0.107), and Key Resources(0.100), and Channels(0.086) are follows. Also, The Marketing has higher relative importance for Manufacturing enterprises, whereas the Product&Service has higher relative importance for Knowledge Service Enterprises. It proves that there is a difference in the relative importance between Manufacturing Enterprises and Knowledge Service Enterprises. This study concludes the importance of business model factor is different for each respective industry. Therefore, it suggests to consider different industrial aspects when build the business model for each industry.

  • This paper provides a model which is used for SOA based system's quality evaluation. This model make evaluation with "Reliability, Usability, Efficiency, Usability and Maintainability", these five aspects which were reference from ISO/IEC 9126. A systems based on SOA was tested by this model in these five aspects. As the results of the evaluation this system satisfied 61.45% users including Service Requester and Service Registry.

  • In this paper we review the papers related to statistical consulting. The three main objectives of the statistical consulting are education, service, and research. It is noticed that not only the statistical aspects but the nonstatistical aspects should be emphasized for the successful statistical consulting. It is concluded that a seperately funded consulting center operated as a division of a department of statistics is the most appropriate way to provide and to quality of education, service, research in the universities.

  • Railway in Japan has been changed every apr. 20 years as follows, since the war ended in 1945. Shinkansen which was the first high speed train in the world began to revenue service in 1964, and a national railway authority was privatized segmentally in 1987, and after 20 years later from then, the ticketing service using IC card was accomplished. In this research, we review these changes in Japan in the administrative aspects on railway technology, and R & D aspects of the Railway Technical Research Institute, JR East and JR West which are railway corporations. Also we introduce the present status and future of railway technologies in Japan which railway experts diagnosed. In the twenty-first century, the needs of the times for railway have been enormously changed due to a low birth-rate, an aging society, environmental pollution and energy problems and etc. Because we have very similar problems to them like Japan, we could get lessons from Japanese cases in setting the direction for the development of railway technologies.

  • The main purpose of the study is to analyze the main aspects of personnel security in the context of the public administration system. Today the civil service is the central link in increasing the efficiency of the public administration system. One of the most important directions of reforming the civil service is strengthening personnel security, since the level of formation and implementation of managerial decisions depends on the staff of professional employees with the necessary qualities, competencies and competencies.   • The main purpose of the article is to analyze the system of digital management of labor resources in the context of ensuring personnel security and economic development. In the context of the digital transformation of the economy, much attention is paid to the creation of an innovative personnel management system, as the competition between organizations is intensifying, the victory in which guarantees greater economic benefits. Based on the results of the study, the features and key aspects of the digital management system of the enterprise's labor resources were characterized in the context of ensuring personnel security and economic development. Further research will include consideration of the practical aspects of the digital management system of the enterprise's labor resources.

  • Service-Learning pedagogy includes community service and reflection as main components. Students can learn integration and application of knowledge beyond specific fields through experiences and reflection. The purpose of family and Consumer Sciences Education is related to connect theory and practice to improve individual, family, and community life. The curriculum focuses not only on content mastery in subjects, but also application of that knowledge to the real lives of students. Considering the purpose of service-learning as integration and application of knowledge, service- learning pedagogy can contribute to rethink family and Consumer Sciences Education. Reflection as a key component is examined for service-learning pedagogy. Exploring a deeper meaning of reflection in aspects of community connection, critical thinking, and transformative learning would extend the value of it and provide implications for implementing reflection in service-learning pedagogy in Family and Consumer Sciences Education.
