Due to the many attractive aspects of DG in the future power distribution system, distribution automation will be a center hub of integration of the distribution system and resources to satisfy the various needs of customers in a competitive and deregulated environment. In this paper, operation strategies are presented which use network reconfiguration of the automated distribution systems with DG as a real-time operation tool for loss reduction and service restoration from the view of distribution operation. The algorithms and operation strategies of an automated distribution system with DG are introduced to achieve the positive effects of DG in distribution systems. A simple case study shows the effectiveness of the proposed operation strategies.

In this paper, we first summarize key components of integrated services of telecommunication and broadcasting. Definitions and typology of th e integrated services are organized th rough comprehensive analysis of recent convergence trend of telecommunications and broadcasting. Various issues on regulations, society cultures, and technical aspects of the convergence are identified. Next, we deal with the digital media broadcasting service which is one of the technical culmination of the telecommunication and broadcasting merged services. The focus of the analysis has been made on policy implications and comparative details with other similar services in the same category. Finally, we suggest the perspectives on forthcoming digital media broadcasting service developments, and implications to cope with this emerging technological breakthrough.

The purpose of this study is to seek the revitalization plans of export platform for supporting export enterprise of the domestic public services. To activate the export platform, alternatives to two aspects are required as follows. First of all, a governance plan of export platform should be established. At present, an operation entity of export platform, which is still developing stage, is not yet established. In this situation, even though export platform developed, it will faced with inefficient operation. Therefore, an operation entity and appropriate business model are important to the platform activation. second, to activate platform, it is necessary to support export process of life cycle. In particular, the service, which can support the business strategies setting and project implementation stage, is required. In addition, in order to activate the export platform is need to operate with he government's support program.

Understanding the satisfaction and dissatisfaction of employees has been deemed important for smooth and efficient food service management. The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between the dishwashing employees' job satisfaction and the operational and managerial factors in hospital foodservice systems. A survey of twenty conventional hospital food service systems was undertaken and detailed information was collected from 280 dishwashing employees through mailed questionnaires. Dishwashing employees' satisfaction was evaluated by measuring their job attitudes towards four aspects of their job using the modified Job Description Index (JDI). Descriptive analysis and Pearson product moment correlation analysis were used to analyze the data. The dishwashing workers were found to be more satisfied with their interpersonal relations with co-workers than with work content, pay or promotional opportunities. The demographic variables including education, type of employment and work experience were significantly related to job satisfaction. As the ratio of supervisors to dishwashing workers increased, the degree of satisfaction in dishwashing workers increased significantly.

Germany became a super-aged society which has the number of people aged 65 or older reached 19 percent of population in 1997. Similarly, there is a tendency in Korea to increase the number of older people coupled with an increase in the number of households of the senior citizen who lives alone due to a rapid change of family unit. Research on geriatric in Germany is being carried out in many different ways, like medical, welfare, and social aspects because of the fact that Germany is in the middle of a super-aged society. Therefore, analysis and evaluation of elderly care facilities in Germany will be used as a fundamental resource for overall planning of elderly care and welfare facilities which are expected to grow demand dramatically.

Colloid silica using as abrasive for polishing sapphire has been extensively studied, which mechanism has also been deeply discussed. However, by the requirement of application enlargement and cost reduction, some new problems appear such as silica service life time, particle diameter mixing, etc. In this paper, several influences of colloid silica usage on sapphire CMP are examined. Results show particle diameter and concentration, pH value, service life time, particle diameter mixing heavily influence removal rate. Further analysis discloses there are two main effect aspects which are quantity of hydroxyl group, contact area for abrasive density stacking between abrasive and sapphire. Based on the discussions, a dynamic process of sapphire polishing is proposed.

The purpose of this study is to apply the international quality certification system to service quality evaluation in library and information service centers. The study compared various aspects of their quality certification systems and considered application studies of foreign libraries. The results of this study illustrate that TQM based quality certification systems-Doming Quality Prize, Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Awards. European Quality Awards-reflects a broader, more dynamic and custome-oriented quality concepts. On the contrary, ISO 9000 Standards are based on a narrow, static and in house-oriented quality concepts emphasizing conformance to specifications.

In this paper, we will introduce our approach for composing operation based on user tasks. It is based on Service Component Architecture (SCA). In addition, we developed ontology based on OWL and the MIT process handbook, called u-TO(universal task ontology), which can be used for users describing and specifying semantically their needs. We represent the hierarchy of tasks, and classify tasks according to views in u-TO. It aims at facilitating the modeling of complex demands or systems without regarding details of technical aspects of underlying infrastructure.

The main purpose of the study is to determine the features of state regulation of the hotel and restaurant business in the digital economy. Particularly relevant are the processes of digitalization of the service sector. Trade and transport companies, enterprises in the hotel and restaurant industry, catering got the opportunity to expand the target audience, improve the quality of service, develop at an accelerated pace, take into account that in the global digital economy, victory will go to those whose arsenal will involve a large number of high-quality digital platforms. As a result of the study, key aspects of state regulation of the hotel and restaurant business in the digital economy were identified.
