Development of Intelligent Systems involves effective integration of large-scaled knowledge processing and understanding, human-machine interaction, and intelligent services. Especially, in our project for development of a self-growing knowledge-based system with inference methodologies utilizing the big data technology, we are building a platform called WiseKB as the central knowledge base for storing massive amount of knowledge and enabling question-answering by inferences. WiseKB thus requires an effective methodology to analyze diverse requirements convoluted with the integration of various components of knowledge representation, resource management, knowledge storing, complex hybrid inference, and knowledge learning, In this paper, we propose an integrated requirement analysis method that blends the traditional sequential method and the iterative-incremental method to achieve an efficient requirement analysis for large-scale systems.

Modeling of fighter pilots, which is a fundamental technology for war games using defense M&S (Modeling & Simulation) becomes one of the prominent research issues as the importance of defense M&S increases. Especially, the recent accumulation of combat logs makes it possible to adopt statistical learning methods to pilot modeling, and an HMM (Hidden Markov Model) which is able to utilize the sequential characteristic of combat logs is suitable for the modeling. However, since an HMM works only by using one type of features, discrete or continuous, to apply an HMM to heterogeneous features, type integration is required. Therefore, we propose a dPCA-HMM method, where dPCA (Discrete Principal Component Analysis) is combined with an HMM for the type integration. From experiments conducted on combat logs acquired from a simulator furnished by agency for defense development, the performance of the proposed model is evaluated and was satisfactory.
In a most recent object tracking research work, applying Convolutional Neural Network and Recurrent Neural Network-based strategies become relevant for resolving the noticeable challenges in it, like, occlusion, motion, object, and camera viewpoint variations, changing several targets, lighting variations. In this paper, the LSTM Network-based Tracking association method has proposed where the technique capable of real-time multi-object tracking by creating one of the useful LSTM networks that associated with tracking, which supports the long term tracking along with solving challenges. The LSTM network is a different neural network defined in Keras as a sequence of layers, where the Sequential classes would be a container for these layers. This purposing network structure builds with the integration of tracking association on Keras neural-network library. The tracking process has been associated with the LSTM Network feature learning output and obtained outstanding real-time detection and tracking performance. In this work, the main focus was learning trackable objects locations, appearance, and motion details, then predicting the feature location of objects on boxes according to their initial position. The performance of the joint object tracking system has shown that the LSTM network is more powerful and capable of working on a real-time multi-object tracking process.

An injection mold cooling circuit for an automotive front bumper was optimally designed in order to simultaneously minimize the average of the standard deviations of the temperature and the difference in mean temperatures of the upper and lower molds for uniform cooling. The temperature distribution for a specified design was evaluated by Moldflow Insight 2010, a commercial injection molding analysis tool. For efficient design, PIAnO (Process Integration, Automation and Optimization), a commercial PIDO tool, was used to integrate and automate injection molding analysis procedure. The weighted-sum method was used to handle the multi-objective optimization problem and PQRSM, a function-based sequential approximate optimizer equipped in PIAnO, to handle numerically noisy responses with respect to the variation of design variables. The optimal average of the standard deviations and difference in mean temperatures were found to be reduced by 9.2% and 56.52%, respectively, compared to the initial ones.
SMIL supports synchronization and nice screen form environments among various multimedia data. Thus it is utilized widely in the fields of internet virtual lecture, internet broadcasting, and so on. Those kinds of system which can be applied flexibly in spite of the change of environments are required continuously with important issue, and depending upon the trends the function of SMIL is upgraded step by step. In this paper main function of SMIL is analyzed and modeled depending upon object oriented methodology. Also I propose some class model which is inspired iron service combinator. Suggested class model can be tuned by user easily if he wants to optimize system environments.

Tubular steel sections are widespread all over the world because of their strength and aesthetic appearance. Tubular steel members may exhibit local buckling such as elephant foot or overall buckling under extreme compression load. Recently, external bonding of fiber reinforced polymers (FRP) sheets for strengthening these members has been explored through experimental research. This paper presents three-dimensional nonlinear finite element analysis (FEA) to investigate the structural behavior of strengthening tubular steel members with FRP against local and overall buckling phenomena. Out-of-roundness and out-of-straightness imperfections were introduced to the numerical models to simulate the elephant foot and overall buckling, respectively. The nonlinear analysis preferences such as the integration scheme of the shell elements, the algorithm for solution of nonlinear equations, the loading procedure, the bisection limits for the load increments, and the convergence criteria were set, appropriately enough, to successfully track the sophisticated buckling deformations. The agreement between the results of both the presented FEA and the experimental research was evident. The FEA results demonstrated the power of the presented rigorous FEA in monitoring the plastic strain distribution and the buckling phenomena (initiation and propagation). Consequently, the buckling process was interpreted for each mode (elephant foot and overall) into three sequential stages. Furthermore, the influence of FRP layers on the nonlinear analysis preferences and the results was presented.
Purpose The purpose of this study is to investigate to investigate the effects of cloud system on the efficiency improvement and cost-saving of production processes. It also tries to provide small- and medium-sized companies and IT practitioners with a practical guideline for a successful implementation of could systems. Design/methodology/approach This study was conducted by observing and analyzing a case of implementing a cloud system at a small-sized company having multiple job sites in terms of the improvement in data-sharing efficiency and cost-saving of production processes. Findings This study found that cloud system was an effective way of sharing data between and among production processes of geographically scattered job sites and thus, helped the company to remedy problems of work schedule and load-balance along sequential production processes. Cloud system also allowed the company to reduce the number of visits made by 3-inspectors to four job sites by 75% and the personnel cost related to inspectors' site visit.
The world largest 21.3" LTPS LCD has been successfully developed using SLS crystallization technology. Successful integration of gate circuit, transmission gate and level shifter was performed in a large area uniformly. Uniformity and high performance from high quality grains of SLS technology make it possible to come true a uniform large size LTPS TFT-LCD with half number of data driver IC's used in typical a-Si LCD. High aperture ratio of 65% was obtained using an organic inter insulating method, which lead a high brightness of 500cd/cm2.

In this paper, the equations of motions for planar multibody dynamics are established for considering the parallel programming based on GPU. Cartesian coordinates are used to formulate the equations of motion and implicit integration method called HHT-alpha is employed. Open chain multibody system is considered for computer simulation. CUDA toolkit is employed for establishing the GPU parallel programming. The exactness of the analysis is verified from the comparison with ADAMS. The results from parallel computing based on GPU are compared with the results from the sequential programming based on CPU in terms of calculation time. The multiple pendulum with bodies and joints is employed for the computer simulation. In the pendulum system that has 290 bodies, the parallel program indicates an improved efficiency of about 25.5 second(15.5% improvement). It is noted that the larger the size of system is, the time efficiency is better.
