A Comparison on Clothing Appearance of 2D Flat Sketch, 3D Virtual Clothing and Real Clothing -Based on the Evaluation of Chinese in Their 20s and 30s- (의복의 2D 도식화, 3D 가상착의, 실제착의 외관 평가 비교 -20~30대 중국인 평가를 중심으로-)

  • This study investigated similarities and differences between 2D flat sketch, 3D virtual clothing and real clothing images. Flat sketch, 3D virtual clothing, and real clothing images of T-shirts and dresses were made. Questionnaires were prepared for fit evaluation, sensory evaluation, and location evaluation. A survey of 440 questionnaires was collected from Chinese women in their 20s and 30s. As results of the sensibility evaluation, 3D virtual clothing expressed real clothing images slightly more similar than a 2D flat sketch. As results of the fit evaluation of the dresses, 2D flat sketch and 3D virtual clothing were rated as slightly longer/wider, and real clothing images were rated as slightly shorter/narrower. The results suggested that presenting 3D images with avatars as 3D virtual clothing images will provide more accurate fit evaluation results. This study presented possibilities and methods for apparel companies to utilize 3D system as an effective apparel production tool.

  • 본 연구에서는 폭력영상 시청 시 개인의 공격성향에 따른 생체신호(ECG, GSR)의 변화를 분석하였다. 남자 23 명(21.4 세, ${\pm}1.8$ 세)의 피험자의 공격성을 설문지로 측정하였다. 실험은 Rest(15 분), 안정영상 시청(2 분 14 초), 폭력영상 시청(50 초), 안정영상 시청(2 분 14 초)으로 구성되어 있다. 폭력영상은 패싸움·마루타 실험장면을 보여주었으며, 안정영상은 바다·산·계곡 등의 영상을 보여주었다. 폭력영상 시청 시 개인의 공격성향과 ECG 신호 사이의 상관관계는 관찰 할 수 없었으나, GSR 신호와는 음의 상관관계를 관찰 할 수 있었다. 이 결과는 공격성이 높은 사람일수록 폭력영상 시청 시 생체신호 변화가 작을 수 있음을 시사한다.

  • Random and/or periodic defects occur in all spun yarns. These irregularities can often lead to defects in finished fabric. Yarn evenness tests are used to obtain statistical data about yarn properties, such as CV%, which is useful in comparing several sets of similar data that differ in mean value but may have some commonality in relative variation. Although this statistical data is helpful in determining relative yarn Quality, accurate predictions of how the yarn will appear in fabric form are still difficult to obtain. As an promising alterative, wavelet analysis has been employed to localize yam defect so as to predict the visual qualifies of the fabrics.

  • Form-ratio means the ratio of Height/Width/Depth in 3-dimensions. The golden ratio or golden section is included as one of the form-ratio. Kansei Engineering System has some basic design databases. Form-ratio and color are basic design elements and they are very important for designing various products in viewpoint of Kansei Engineering. The subjects evaluate the form-ratios of 3-dimensional cubes and virtual products (refrigerator) with SD-scale kansei words(feelings and images). The golden ration was evaluated as "not beautiful" in refrigerator. We compared with the kansei of cube model and virtual product, and obtained databases of the relationship between the form-ratio and kansei.

We conducted two kinds of kansei experiments of cubic model and refrigerator varied from 1:1:1 to 1:1:3.66 on the scale of x:y:z. The subjects evaluate the form-ratios of 3-dimensional cubes and virtual products with SD-scale Kansei words(feelings and images). We applied the factor analysis to identify semantic space in cube model and virtual products. Finally, we compared with kansei structure of cube model and virtual product.

  • An apparel products retrieval system was proposed in which users can refer to products using Kansei evaluation values. The system adopts relevance feedback using history of the retrieval to learn the tendency of user evaluation. The system is based on a vector space retrieval model using products images expression as semantic scales. The system makes a query from user inputting information and retrieves closest products from the database. Revising algorithms of the difference method. linear multiple regression performed to investigate the effectiveness and criteria of the search. As a result of evaluation of the accuracy, it was found that the linear multiple regression and the neural network models are effective for the retrieval considering the individual Kansei.

  • The present study attempted to observe what changes the supply of highly concentrated(30%) oxygen cause to people's ability and cerebrum lateralization of verbal cognition, compared to air of normal oxygen concentration(21%). The experiment consisted of two runs, one for verbal cognition test with normal air(21% of oxygen) and for verbal cognition test with more oxygen in the air(30% of oxygen). Functional brain images were taken form 3T MRI using the single-shot EPI method. There were more activations observed at the occipital, parietal, temporal, and frontal lobes, but there were no changes in cerebrum lateralization with 30% oxygen administration. The result of task performance showed the accuracy increased at 30%'s concentration of oxygen rather than 21%'s. It is concluded that the positive effect on the verbal cognitive performance level by the highly concentrated oxygen administration was due to changeless increase of left and right cerebrum activation.

  • With lots of portable convergence mobile device coming out into the market, companies are now facing to take up consumers' needs. The products are popularized by 'skin function' in the field of hardware, whereas software wise, it's still a long way to follow up the needs. It's been hypothetically known that the Image of Sensitivity Adjective chosen by the users can increase the brand image and value creating capabilities through visualization. We collect the 'adjective' of images of recent products first and on that base, we sort out the most popular 'adjective' through grouping, then we actualize the image with that sample collective body. Then through analyses of the image, we find how they are correlated and what their elements are with the result.

  • 본 연구에서는 피륙의 물리화학적 특성에 의해 결정되는 촉감, 태 이외에도 색채, 무의 등 여러 요소들의 영향을 받아 복합적으로 표현되는 의류소재의 총체적인 개념인 의류소재 이미지는 어떤 것들이 있으며 이러한 이미지들은 어떻게 분류될 수 있는지를 알아보기 위하여 의류소재 이미지의 평가를 위한 축을 개발해 보았다. 1995년부터 2000년까지의 Texjournal과 인터패션플래닝에서 발간되는 98/99FW부터 0255까지 트렌드 북에서 소재를 설명하는 형용사를 조사하여 유사한 형용사를 통합 처리하여 87개의 형용사를 최종 추출하여 형용사쌍을 만들고 소재 자극 없이 형용사쌍이 주는 소재이미지만을 가지고 쌍비교법을 통해 유사성을 7점 척도로 표시하도록 하였다. 얻어진 결과를 다차원척도법을 이용하여 분석하여 87개의 형용사의 평가차원을 살펴보았다. 의류소재 이미지를 평가하는 축을 다차원 척도법을 이용하여 개발한 결과 '남성적-여성적', '새로운-낡은 듯한', '캐주얼-클래식', '모호한-정돈된'의 4가지 차원의 8개축이 개발되었다.
