Further education for teachers is required for reforms of elementary education curricula and their career development. Principles of relevance, selectivity and hierarchy should be followed in the construction of further education curricula system for math teachers of senior high school. The following curricula should be included in the system: A. moral elevation and idea renewal curricula; B. theoretic curricula on math education; C. curricula on math education design; D. curricula on math education research; E. curricula on modern educational technology; F. curricula on knowledge renewal and extension.

After reviewing China's appearance and research on the Math open-ended problems, together with the application of those problems in mathematics test of Shanghai Senior Middle School Entrance Exams (SSMSEE) since 1999, this paper points out the difficulty in establishing an evaluation system for such problem. Through comparative study, the paper gives an operational definition of open-ended problem, and it attempts to establish an evaluation system and non-systematic competence targets that are appropriate to Math open-ended problems. Meanwhile, it describes the performance feature of those targets. By applying the standard international grading system of difficulty, it discusses the elements of difficulty in Math open-ended problems, and puts forward an evaluation as well as a level-of-difficulty forecasting system that is appropriate to the Middle School Entrance Exam.

본 고는 노인학습자 대상의 사용자 중심 설계에 바탕을 둔 앱 개발 연구의 일환으로, 시니어 수학 앱 개발 연구이다. 시니어 수학 앱에서 제공된 수학 콘텐츠는 '수리문해(Numeracy)'에 초점을 두었으며 노인 세대에 친숙한 소재와 활동적 요소를 도입하여 구성하였다. 수학 앱 개발을 위한 수학 콘텐츠와 사용자 인터페이스를 확정하기 위하여 9명의 노인학습자를 대상으로 교수 실험을 실시하였다. 또한 교수 실험 결과를 모니터링하기 위하여 CIPP 프로그램 평가모형을 활용하였다. 이에 따라 '교육목표', '요구분석', '교육환경', '커리큘럼', '학습내용', '학습 소재', '상호작용', '프로그램 관리', '지원환경', '만족도', '학습 결과', '학습의 지속가능성' 등의 요인을 점검하고 이에 대한 피드백에 따라 시니어 수학 앱을 개발하였다.

Through this study, we aimed to capture the nature of a mathematics method course, called "the Curriculum Development and Teaching Methods in Mathematics Education" which is a pedagogy course for teaching for secondary school mathematics taught at a university located in a south eastern part of South Korea. The research participants include three junior students who took the methods course and a local high school math teacher with two professors. The research has three parts. First, we designed a method course to prepare the junior or senior students for a teaching practicum. The individual students gave a mini lecture about a secondary mathematical topic as a course requirement. Second, the three students watched a classroom video-clip of the high school teacher and analyzed his instruction before the actual classroom visits. Furthermore, by "Let's Learn" program for students, the course was associated with a local community through the students and so that they could visit the teacher's classroom three times to observe his math classroom teaching. The students discussed the difference between their own mini lectures and the actual math classroom teaching to develop an understanding of what it entails to teach an actual math class. Third, the first author supervised the students' activities in the program including their report for it to bring out their findings to the class of the method course. We found out this method course provided the students with the experience of various aspects of actual math lesson as well as learning theories about the pedagogy for teaching for secondary school mathematics. We conclude that this course gives a model for the method course in mathematics education for secondary school mathematics.

본 연구는 노인 학습자를 대상으로 스마트 기기를 활용하여 수학학습 활동을 할 수 있는 수학 앱 구현의 일환으로 진행되었다. 실버 세대와 같이 아직은 스마트 기기에 익숙하지 않은 사람들에게는 학습을 위한 적합한 행동유발의 기능이 무엇보다 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 스마트 기기를 활용한 수학학습의 자료에서 교육의 목적을 달성하면서도 사용자의 편의성을 증진시키기 위하여 노인 학습자의 특성을 고려한 어포던스 설계를 구축하고자 하였다. 이러한 설계 가이드라인 제시를 위하여 시니어 스마트 교육 시스템의 어포던스를 증진시킬 수 있는 인지적, 물리적, 감각적, 어포던스의 특징 및 요소를 제시하였다.

교육과학기술부는 2012년 1월에 '수학교육 선진화 교육'을 발표하며 주요방향 및 과제로 '생각하는 힘을 키우는 수학', '쉽게 이해하고 재미있게 배우는 수학', '더불어 함께하는 수학'을 제시하며 '쉽게 이해하고 재미있게 배우는 수학'에 해당되는 내용으로 스토리텔링 기법을 적용한 교과서를 제시하였다. 본고에서는 2009 개정 교육과정에 따른 고등학교 1학년 수학I 교과서에 스토리텔링 기법을 어떻게 적용하였는지 분석해 보고, 고등학교 1학년 교사와 학생들의 스토리텔링에 대한 이해와 활용실태를 조사하고자 하였다.
