The purpose of this study is to research the effect of life satisfaction on young people at an early age and the impact of media on behavioral aggressiveness during this process. To this end, a group of primary schools located in Jiangnan and Jiangbei in the Seoul area and the Nanjing Road in the city were selected and 290 early youths from grades 4-6 of elementary school were chosen as specimens of structural equations. The results indicate that firstly, the personal causes of early youth have a positive (+) effect on the self-esteem life satisfaction and negative (-) impact on liquidity aggressiveness. Secondly, depression has a negative impact on life satisfaction, while action aggressiveness has no effect. Thirdly, the mobility aggression of early youth has a negative impact on life satisfaction (-), and there is a partial media relationship between self-esteem and life satisfaction. However, there is no media relationship between depression and life satisfaction. Based on the above research results, the project of improving youth early life satisfaction and reducing mobile aggression was proposed.

We report the operation of a self-adaptive vector phase conjugate laser (VPCL) oscillator which compensates intracavity polarization distortion and wavefront aberration simultaneously. The VPCL in Nd:YAG gain media produce an output with energy of 125mJ in a 20ns single-longitudinal-mode pulse at 10Hz, which is unaffected by intracavity polarization distortion.

This paper describe numerical experiments with solitary beams in a self focusing Kerr medium with fast response. Through formal analogies, it compare this results on the phase sensitivity of beam collision with known predictions about one dimensional soliton interaction. For incoherent oblique beam interaction, there occurs a non-periodic coupled-mode type transfer of energy, resulting in complete transmission each beam through the other one.

Instagram, a photo and image centered social networking service, has received increasing attention these days, from scholars and practitioners. However, little is known about the social and psychological factors that lead consumers to use this service. To provide a baseline understanding on Instagram users, the current study was conducted to discover perfectionistic self-presentation tendency expressed by the Instagram users and explore the relationships between identified perfectionistic self-presentation and intention to use Instagram variables with 250 participants. In addition, this study tried to determine the moderator effect of self-efficacy and self-construal. A comprehensive survey was directed and a total of 380 participants were recruited to verify anticipated hypotheses and research questions. The research results suggest that perfectionistic self-presentation has five sub factors: others conscious self-presentation, subjective self-presentation, environmental adaptation self-presentation, self-expansion self-presentation, and social self-presentation. The implications of this research findings are discussed.

Objective: The adhesion capabilities of different types of self-ligating brackets were measured with respect to Streptococcus mutans and Streptococcus sobrinus. Methods: Five types of self-ligating brackets (Clippy-C; Mini Clippy; Clarity-SL; Speed; Damon 3) were used for the experiment group and composite resin brackets (Spirit-MB), metal brackets (Victory) and polycrystalline alumina brackets (Clarity) were used for the control group. In order to assess adhesion of bacteria to the brackets, the brackets were cultured for 3, 6 and 24 hours in media containing bacteria and 20% sucrose. Results: There was no statistic difference in adhesion amount of Streptococcus mutans and Streptococcus sobrinus according to the types of brackets. A total adhesion amount according to bracket type was different. An extended incubation time increased adhesion amount. Observation under scanning electron microscope showed that Streptococcus sobrinus adhered more to Clippy-C and Victory rather than to Clarity-SL. Conclusions: Clarity-SL, a self-ligating esthetic bracket was confirmed to show lower bacterial adhesion to cariogenic bacteria, Streptococcus mutans and Streptococcus sobrinus group than other self-ligating brackets or conventional brackets, which suggests that proper use of self-ligating esthetic brackets might even be better in preventing tooth surface decalcification.

The purpose of this study is to explore the structural relationship between COVID-19-induced sub-dimensions of Online Self-Regulated Learning (OSRL) and satisfaction in online courses conducted in the 'post-COVID-19 era,' as well as to investigate the moderating effects of situational variables such as 'course planning,' 'device type,' and 'course repetition.' To achieve this, the study constructs a measurement model with sub-dimensions of Environment Structuring, Learning Strategy, Help Seeking, and Self-Evaluation as components of OSRL. Participants in this study were selected from university students who enrolled in online courses offered by the Department of Education at University A in the metropolitan area. The research findings reveal several key insights. First, among the sub-dimensions of Online Self-Regulated Learning, Environment Structuring, Learning Strategy, and Self-Evaluation significantly influence satisfaction with online courses. Second, students' satisfaction with online courses significantly influences their intention to continue participating in such courses. Third, 'course planning' during online course hours and 'course repetition' play a moderating role in the relationship between sub-dimensions of Online Self-Regulated Learning and satisfaction. Based on the discussion of these research results, this study concludes by suggesting some future implications and challenges of online courses.

This study examined the relationship between SNS use and individual psychological well-being on Instagram. In particular, this study sorted three types of perceived social support-informational, companionship, and self-esteem-to investigate how they influenced individual life satisfaction and loneliness. Results from a survey of 174 college students showed that: (1) frequency of Instagram use was a significant predictor of all three types of perceived social support; (2) status updates had positive effects on perceived self-esteem support, while posting photos was a significant predictor of perceived companionship support; (3) browsing others' profiles was a significant negative predictor of perceived self-esteem support and finally (4) perceived companionship social support had a positive effect on life satisfaction, whereas self-esteem social support had a negative effect on loneliness. These findings imply that Instagram users obtain specific types of social support depending on which activities they engage in and that different types of social support have different effects on well-being.

Match cut is the montage technique that is widely used in the image media. This technique is versatile to generate the receivers a variety of meanings. In this article, the match cut shorts applied in the movie, Bram Stoker's Dracula, were analyzed based on the meanings occurred between the shorts. In addition, the analysis methods were based on the philosophical issues of Gilles Deleuze which had been analyzed focusing on the generation competency. Also, Francis Bacon's paintings, 'painting' (1946) and 'self-portrait' (1969) demonstrating similar meanings were compared to assist understanding. Upon the analyses of these two media, the meanings of 'becoming' that had the feature of nomadism between the shorts and occurred in the process of combined generation were analyzed. Therefore, match cut occurred in the image media was found to function to the receivers in a variety of ways and the degree of its utilization was not limited upon this analysis.

This study analyzed nineteen best-practices (161 sub-programs) regarding school library media program. The authors conducted content analysis based on The Library Media Specialist's Taxonomy and the CIPP Model. In the analysis of taxonomy showing the degree of involvement of librarian teachers, Level Seven indicating a concerted effort to promote school library program was the most important (37.6%). Among the ten levels of taxonomy, the highest level (levels 6 to 10, high involvement of librarians) accounted for 65.9%. According to the analysis of the CIPP Model, (Context) most of the excellent programs were aimed at reading education (41.5%) and library use education (11.3%), and more than half (53.8%) cases were initiated by learners' needs. (Input) excellence programs employed various teaching materials and were operated at fixed time. (Process) the programs were run in a variety of ways, mainly with reading instruction (30.4%) and cultural activities (17.3%). (Product) As a fruit of programs, students and parents' satisfaction, students' achievement, self-confidence, and self-improvement were reported.
