A Design of Load Conditioning Algorithm In Fault-Tolerant System using Self-learning (자기학습을 이용한 결함허용 시스템의 부하조절 알고리즘 설계)

  • 본 논문에서는 분산시스템 환경에서 n개의 노드가 결함일 경우, 결함을 허용해 주고, 시스템의 안정성을 유지하면서, 결함 노드의 부하를 정상 노드로 조절하기 위하여 부하 조절 알고리즘 전송정책, 위치 정책, 선정 정책을 제안하였다. 이러한 메카니즘은 부하 상태의 정보를 효과적으로 획득하고, 응답 시간을 줄이기 위하여 자기 학습 경험을 기반으로 하는 최적의 알고리즘을 선정할 수 있었다. 결과적으로 이를 기반으로 유사한 상황에서도 최적의 알고리즘을 선정할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 각 기법들의 효율성에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 매개변수를 적용하여 성능평가를 하였다. 성능평가 결과 작업 도착 율, 서비스 율, 노드 결합 율은 서로간에 영향을 주지 못하고, 다만 결함 수리 율과 특히 부하의 이주에 대한 통신 지연 시간의 크기에 민감한 영향을 주었다.

  • 일반적으로 자율 주행에 딥러닝을 적용하기 위해서 실제 차량에 관련 장비를 설치하고 테스트 한다. 본 논문에서는 The Open Racing Car Simulator(TORCS)에서 다양한 신경망 구조를 적용하도록 Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)을 통하여 학습 및 테스트할 수 있는 시스템을 제안한다. 가상 환경에서 테스트함으로써 하드웨어를 구매하거나 제작하지 않아도 되며 신경망 구조를 선택후 학습함으로써 다양한 데이터에 적합한 신경망 구조를 적용할 수 있다.

Effects of the Type of Dyad on Repair Patterns and Linguistic Features in Repairs

  • The present study examined the role of language proficiency in dyadic discourse in the organization of repairs and the distribution of linguistic features contained in repairs. One native speaker of English and five non-native speakers participated and formed three dyads: one same-proficiency NNS-NNS (non-native speaker), one different-proficiency NNS-NNS, and one NS (native speaker)-NNS dyads. Results showed that overall repair patterns in this type of interaction were more conversational than didactic, and that the degree of difference in proficiency between the participants in the dyad influenced repair patterns and the distribution of linguistic features in relation to repair patterns. Also, discussed in the present paper are some implications of the results and other issues related to language learning.

  • The purpose of this research was to examine the concurrent validity of the Nalongyee children's achievement motivation test by studying its relationship to a children's school readiness test. The subjects were 335 preschool children (171 urban and 164 rural) selected from 8 public and 7 private kindergartens located in two metropolitan areas (Seoul and Pusan) and 5 rural counties in Kyungsang Nam Do. Instruments included the Nalongyee Children's Achievement Motivation Test by the author and the School Readiness "Lest by Unhai Rhee. Data were analyzed by Pearson r and Z-test. Readiness was positively related to the total score and sub-areas of achievement motivation (.10-.43). Sub-areas of the achievement motivation test were related to each of the 4 factors of the readiness test. The correlations ranged from .00-.35 with the personal-social response factor, .00-.26 with the associative vocabulary factor, .05-.31 with the number concept factor, and .03-.37 with the perception factor. Significant differences in correlations were found between urban and rural areas for self-confidence, interest in learning, interest in kindergarten and physical competence.

  • 휴대폰이나 PDA와 같은 모바일 기기의 확산과 더불어 모바일 통신 환경을 기반으로 하는 모바일 교육 학습 모델이 교육의 질향상 및 교육 효과의 극대화를 꾀할 것으로 기대되는 실정이다. 또한 모바일 환경에서 학습자가 지속적이고 자기 주도적으로 학습을 하기 위해서 자기조절학전략이 필요하며, 이를 위해 모바일 학습환경에 적합한 MMIS(Motivation Metacognitive practice Interaction. Self-reflection: 자기 주도학습전략)모형을 설계하도록 하였다. 특히 학습자의 지속적인 흥미와 동기부여를 위해 에튜테인먼트(edutainment)전략을 활용하여 모바일 게임에 익숙한 학습자의 특성에 맞는 모형으로 설계하였다. 본 논문에서 설계한 MMIS 모형의 특징은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학습자가 스스로 학습 전략을 계획하고 통제할 수 있도록 게임의 난이도를 스스로 결정할 수 있다. 둘째, 학습자가 게임활동을 스스로 계획하고, 게임 결과를 모니터링 할 수 있다. 셋째, 사전에 게임에 필요한 학습 내용을 제공받음으로써 게임에서 좋은 결과를 얻기 위한 노력을 할 수 있도록 하였다. 넷째, 게임을 할 때 해결하기 어려운 과제의 경우에는 교사나 게임에서 제공되는 힌트를 통해 스스로 필요한 도움을 찾아낼 수 있다.

Isolated word recognition using the SOFM-HMM and the Inertia (관성과 SOFM-HMM을 이용한 고립단어 인식)

  • This paper is a study on Korean word recognition and suggest the method that stabilizes the state-transition in the HMM by applying the `inertia' to the feature vector sequences. In order to reduce the quantized distortion considering probability distribution of input vectors, we used SOFM, an unsupervised learning method, as a vector quantizer, By applying inertia to the feature vector sequences, the overlapping of probability distributions for the response path of each word on the self organizing feature map can be reduced and the state-transition in the Hmm can be Stabilized. In order to evaluate the performance of the method, we carried out experiments for 50 DDD area names. The results showed that applying inertia to the feature vector sequence improved the recognition rate by 7.4% and can make more HMMs available without reducing the recognition rate for the SOFM having the fixed number of neuron.

Exploring the Nature of Hwa-Byung Using Pragmatics (‘화병’ 개념에 관한 화용론적 고찰)

  • Purpose: While most psychiatrists diagnose Hwa-Byung as a chronic psychogenic disorder associated with familial, financial and personality, the purpose of study was to shed light on the nature of Hwa-Byung through pragmatics. Hwa-Byung is characterized as ‘Hwa’ which means fire ‘Byung’ which means disease. This condition cannot be empirically experienced, rather it is represented by suffering internally (in the mind). It also could find an aspect of somatization, and self-diagnosing. Method: As patients themselves diagnose Hwa-Byung, pragmatical approach was taken to analyze the context of the learning through their communication with others. The case examples resulted from in-depth telephone counseling with a client who is housewife with Hwa-Byung over a period of time at the Women's Hot Line. Result: The study showed that the client experienced continuous improper attacks by her husband. She expressed improperness by applying her personal emotions to social-justice reasoning. Conclusion: ‘Hwa’ means lack of mutual intimacy in this research. By expressing this ‘Hwa’, the client would like to recover mutual intimacy with her husband.

  • Language is one aspect of cognition, along with attention and concentration, learning and memory, visuospatial abilities, and executive function. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of language intervention by cognitive approach on language expressive performance in a patient with conduction aphasia. This study used several tasks such as Attention and concentration task, visual memory tasks, memory tasks, categorization, divergent thinking, self-monitoring and evaluate thinking. The effects of treatment were evaluated by periodic probing of both trained and untrained familiar words in three tasks; picture naming, answering to questions and telling stories. The results showed improvements both in trained and untrained words. Therefore, we concluded that expressive language performance of this aphasic patient is amenable to this intervention, and that cognitive therapy approach can be useful.

  • 전 세계적으로 프로그래밍 교육에 대한 관심이 증가에 따라 프로그래밍 교육에 대한 중요도와 평가도 중요해졌다. ACM-ICPC 프로그래밍 대회 같은 여러 프로그래밍 대회가 있고 대회 출전을 돕기 위한 온라인 평가 시스템이 전형적인 예이다. 이런 온라인 평가 시스템들을 참고하여 중등학교 학생의 프로그래밍 언어 학습에 도움을 줄 수 있는 프로그램을 설계하기 위한 오류분석 지원 시스템을 제안한다. 본 연구에서는 오류분석 지원 시스템을 통하여 프로그래밍 언어 학습을 함에 있어서 발생할 수 있는 오류들을 분석하여 실제 프로그래밍 교육 환경에 도움을 주고자 한다.

  • Recently, neural networks with self-adaptability like human brain have attracted much attention. It is desirable for the neuron-function to be implemented by exclusive hardware system on account of huge quantity in calculation. We have proposed a novel neuro-device composed of a MFSFET(ferroelectric gate FET) and oscillation circuit with CUJT(complimentary unijuction transistor) and PUT(programmable unijuction transistor). However, it is difficult to preserve ferroelectricity on Si due to existence of interfacial traps and/or interdiffusion of the constitutent elements, although there are a few reports on good MFS devices. In this paper, we have simulated CUJT and PUT devices instead of fabricating them and composed oscillation circuit. Finally, we have resented, as an approach to the MFSFET neuron circuit, adaptive learning function and characterized the elementary operation properties of the pulse oscillation circuit.
