패션 인턴십 프로그램 모델 연구(I) - 학계용 시스템 구축을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Fashion Internship Program Model (I) - Focused on the System Development for the College Departments -)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a pragmatic fashion internship program as a following study of 'An analysis of the consciousness of the professors and college students for the fashion industry internship'. The methods of the quantitative analysis and some case studies were used for this study. The results of this study were as follows : Internship program has 6 steps ; ready, introduction, selection, operation, reputation, management. It will help professors and college students to execute the program systematically. The contents of the fashion internship program model for professors were as follows: 8 recruiting methods to find internship companies, the contents of the internship agreement, 6 types of internship, the contents of the recommendation letter, advanced education contents for a fashion internship, e-mentoring program model, a curriculum of the cultural study and the major course, evaluation standard elements of the intern students, the methods of evaluation etc.

특수의복에 관한 실태조사 연구 -한국과 미국의 교과과정과 연구경향분석을 중심으로- (Comparative Analysis of Curriculum and Research Trends Related to Clothing for Persons with Special Needs between Korea and America)

  • With the purpose of identifying clothing for persons with special needs one of new directions in Clothing and Textiles, this pater comparatively analyzed current curriculum and research trends related to this field between Korea and America. Questionaire was distributed to 25 Korean colleges with Clothing and Textiles department and 4 American colleges known for special clothing study. Questions regarded the name of course, level (grade), number of credit houre, prerequisits and supporting courses, subjects of lecture and projects, way of managing lecture and projects, evaluation system, other special characteristics. Resources for analyzing research trends are Thesis and Dissertations in Clothing and Textiles, Research Journal of Clothing & Textiles/Home Economics Association, College Professors' research reports collection, of both Korea and America. Years of publications are 1972∼1986 (America), 1978∼1988 (Korea). Findings are as follows; 1. Clothing for special needs can be classified into various groups; Clothing for physically handicapped, mentally retarded, elderly, unusual-sized, pregnant/nursing mothers, institutionalized, protective clothing, uniform/career apparel. 2. Management of coursework related to special clothing has several common characteristics specially in America; Building-up coursework, problem-solving orientation, cooperative team-preject, interdisciplinary approach, client-versus-designer preference, community involvement. In Korea, a few school only has special clothing coursework and its scope of study was very limited. 3. Majority of research reports done with the subjects of special clothing had made for physically handicapped people and the elderly. Protective clothing and uniform have recently been paid much interests. 4. Researchers had mainly concerned on Design and Construction Aspects and nextly on social-psychological aspects. However, in America, selection and care aspects and marketing aspects of special clothing have been very procuctive issues recently. 5. Study on clothing for special needs has several opportunities to be stressed and improvements to be strengthened. Opportunities included active participation to the welfare of community society, strong publicity of accurate professional image, share with business and industry, interdisciplinary approach and new job market. Improvements were discussed in terms of strengthening supporting courses/prerequistes, intensifying interdisciplinary cooperation, provoking strong community involvement and securing financial support and research funds.

A Qualitative Inquiry Into the Challenges of Medical Education for Retention of General Practitioners in Rural and Underserved Areas of Iran

  • Objectives: General practitioners (GPs) retention in rural and underserved areas highly effects on accessibility of healthcare facilities across the country. Education seems to be a critical factor that affects GPs retention. Thus, the present study aimed at inquiry into medical education challenges that limit their retention in rural and underserved areas. Methods: A qualitative approach was applied for the aim of this study. Data were gathered via 28 semi-structured interviews with experts at different levels of Iran's health system as well as GPs who retained and refused to retain working in rural settings. Interviews mainly were performed face-to-face and in some cases via telephone during 2015 and then coded and analyzed using content analysis approach. Results: Iran's medical education is faced with several challenges that were categorized in four main themes including student selection, medical students' perception about their field of study, education setting and approach, curriculum of medical education. According to experts this challenges could results in making GP graduates disinterested for practicing in rural and underserved areas. Conclusions: Challenges that were found could have negative effects on retention. Modification in student's perception about rural practice could be done via changing education setting and approach and curriculum. These modifications could improve GPs retention in rural and underserved areas.

역량바탕의학교육을 촉진하기 위한 교육평가: 통합평가모형 적용 (Adapting an Integrated Program Evaluation for Promoting Competency-Based Medical Education)

  • Educational program evaluation can improve the quality of the curriculum, instructional methods, and resources and provide useful data for making educational decisions and policies. Developing and implementing a program evaluation system is essential in competency-based medical education. The purpose of this study was to explore and establish an educational program evaluation system adapting an integrated program evaluation model to promote competency-based medical education. First, an Educational Evaluation Committee was organized, consisting of faculty, staff members, and students. The committee established an integrated program evaluation model, combining Stufflebeam's Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) model of a process-oriented approach and Kirkpatrick's four-level model of an outcome-oriented approach. Kirkpatrick's model was applied to the product evaluation of the CIPP model. The committee then developed evaluation criteria, indicators, and data collection methods according to the components of the CIPP model and the four levels (reaction, learning, behavior, and results) of Kirkpatrick's model, and collected and analyzed data. Finally, the committee reported the results of evaluation to a Medical Education Quality Improvement Committee, and the results were used to improve the curriculum and student selection. To enhance the quality of education, identifying educational deficiencies and developing various elements of education in a balanced way through educational evaluation will be needed. Furthermore, it will be necessary to listen to opinions of various stakeholders, work with all members involved in education, and communicate with decision-makers in the process of educational evaluation.

의생활 교육내용의 계열화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Sequence of Contents in Clothing and textile Education)

  • This study was done to identify contents of clothing and textile education and to systemize its curriculum from elementary school to high school Every time the official curriculum is updated. the suggestion that the contents of Home Economics Education should be systematized never fails to come forth. Unfortunately. it's a fact that there are still insufficient grounds to base this opinion on. and that adequate research has not yet been done in this particular field. Therefore. basic research must be performed in order to systematize the substance of clothing and textile education. Keeping this in mind. the following study strives to find appropriate methods of conducting clothing and textile education, while attempting to provide basic materials for future organization and selection of contents. In order to achieve these goals. the materials have been sorted into three categories : First of all. what sort of concepts is being taught in the subject of clothing and textile. and are the chapters constructed so that different schools can maintain consistency among them\ulcorner Second, how has clothing and textile education been done so far and is the contents correctly synchronized with the students'development\ulcorner Third. haw is clothing and textile education utilized in real life. and has it actually been systematized in a way that encourages practical utilization\ulcorner This study has mostly been done through the research of various documental resources. Also. the analysis has been performed using the systematic contents analysis method. The main results of obtained this study are as follows : As the concepts of clothing and textile education. which are different from each school, has not completely been systematizied. Also. as the contents of clothing and textile education has not correctly synchronized with the students'development. am it has not actually been systematized in a way that encourages practical utilization. Since this study has touched only limited research on the topic of clothing and textile education. it is essential that further research covering a wider array of themes be done in the future.

텍스트 마이닝을 활용한 캡스톤 디자인에 관한 학생 인식 탐색: 산업경영공학 사례 (A Text Mining Analysis on Students' Perceptions about Capstone Design: Case of Industrial & Management Engineering)

  • Capstone Design, a project-based learning technique, is the most important curriculum that clarifying major knowledge and cultivating the ability to apply through the process of solving problems in the industrial field centered on the student project team. Accordingly, various and extensive studies are being conducted for the successful implementation of capstone design courses. Unlike previous studies, this study aimed to quantitatively analyze the opinions that recorded the experiences and feelings of students who performed capstone design, and used text mining methodologies such as frequency analysis, correlation analysis, topic modeling, and sentiment analysis. As a result of examining the overall opinions of the latter period through frequency analysis and correlation analysis, there was a difference between the languages used by the students in the opinions according to gender and project results. Through topic modeling analysis, 'topic selection' and 'the relationship between team members' showed an increase in occupancy or high occupancy, and topics such as 'presentation', 'leadership', and 'feeling what they felt' showed a tendency to decreasing occupancy. Lastly, sentiment analysis has found that female students showed more neutral emotions than male students, and the passed group showed more negative emotions than the non-passed group and less neutral emotions. Based on these findings, students' practical recognition of the curriculum was considered and implications for the improvement of capstone design were presented.

영재교육진흥법에 대한 교육법적 쟁점 (Legal Issues in the Act on the Promotion of Education for the Gifted and Talented Law)

  • 본 연구는 영재교육과 관련된 법체계의 구조와 교육법적으로 쟁점이 되는 사항을 살펴봄으로써 영재교육과 관련된 법적 논의의 대상을 모색하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 '영재교육진흥법'과 동법 시행령의 법률상 위치를 고찰하였다. 다음으로 입법과정과 주요내용, 법제에 대한 공과를 논의하였다. 마지막으로 법 체계와 목적, 영재교육 대상자, 교육과정, 영재교육 교사에 대한 법 규정에 대한 논의를 하였다. 그 결과 영재교육에 대한 법 제정의 역사가 10년도 채 되지 않는 상황이어서 법체계와 상위법의 근거 조항 및 목적 등의 미비점이 발견되었다. 또한 영재교육 대상자의 권리를 확보하기 위한 법적 조치가 필요하고, 교육과정 역시 부분 수정이 필요하며, 국가나 지자체의 책무성이 보다 강화되어야 했다. 그리고 교원 자격은 보다 엄격하게 규정되어야 할 필요가 있었다. 그리고 향후 특정 주제별로 구체적인 분석을 위해 고려되어야 할 사항을 영재교육 입법, 교육재판, 교육정책 등으로 제시하였다. 그러나 본 연구는 개괄적 수준에서 법의 기본 체제나 내용을 제시하였으므로 전체적인 법적 구조까지 검토하고 제시하지 못한 한계가 있다.

전기와 자기에 관한 초 . 중 . 고등학교 교육과정의 국제 비교 (International Comparison of Curricula about Electricity and Magnetism in Primary and Secondary School)

  • 현대의 전기문명을 향유하고 이를 바탕으로 과학기술력의 강국이 되기 위하여 우리나라는 학교 교육에서 얼마나 이에 대한 노력을 하고 있는지 궁금하다. 이에 대하여 알아보기 위한 한 방법으로 본 연구에서는 전기와 자기에 관련된 내용을 학교에서 얼마나 많이 언제 가르치고 있는지를 우리나라와 세계 주요 국가들과의 전기와 자기에 관한 교육과정을 비교하여 알아보았다. 국제비교에 선정된 국가는 일본, 대만, 미국, 영국, 싱가포르 등으로 선진국이거나 우리나라와 과학기술력에서 경쟁이 되는 국가들로 하였다. 비교는 각 국의 교육과정에 기술된 전기와 자기에 관한 내용을 간단한 용어로 표현하여 학습주제를 선정하고, 이 학습주제들을 각 학교 급별로 얼마나 많이 다루고 있는지 국가 간 비교를 하였다. 우리나라의 경우 중학교와 고등학교 1학년에서 전기와 자기에 관하여 아주 적은 량의 학습을 시키다 고등학교 선택과정에서 갑자기 많은 학습을 시키는 것으로 나타났으며, 우리나라는 트랜지스터 등 전자소자 및 전자 회로 교육에 대하여 소홀히 하는 것으로 나타났다.

공학과 디자인의 협업을 위한 공학 계열 종합설계의 수행절차와 방법 연구 (A study on the procedure and method for engineering comprehensive design for collaboration between engineering and design)

  • 공학교육인증을 실시하고 있는 대학들은 설계 교육의 중요성을 강조하고 있다. 특히 공학 분야의 종합설계 교과목은 설계의 기능적 요소과 제한요소를 반영하여 결과물을 제작하도록 하고 있다. 체계적인 설계 교육도 중요 하지만 종합설계 교과목이 창의적 교육프로그램이라는 측면에서 다학제적 융합 교육 적용의 필요성이 매우 높다. 본 연구는 연구자가 강의한 2019년 공학 계열 종합설계 교과목을 중심으로 교육과정과 공학과 디자인의 융합 적용사례를 기술하였다. 공학과 디자인의 협업을 위해 학생들의 아이디어를 발전시키고 실제 결과물에 적용하기까지의 과정을 기획 및 주제 선정, 콘텐츠 설계, 소프트웨어 설계, 발표 및 평가의 절차로 제시하였다. 결과적으로 학생들에게 작품을 제작하는 데 있어 사용자를 고려한 디자인을 적용하게 함으로써 공학계열의 종합설계 교과목에서 기술에만 치중하지 않고 공학과 디자인의 융합 프로세스의 방법을 제시하였다는데 그 의의가 있다.

3D 그래픽 소프트웨어를 활용한 도형 학습 효과 (The Effectiveness of the Figure Learning using 3D Graphics Software)

  • 3D 그래픽 소프트웨어의 대중화, 하드웨어의 발전 등으로 학교교육에서 3D 그래픽 도구를 보다 용이하게 사용할 수 있게 되었다. 그리고 초등학교의 도형영역의 교과 내용이 보다 강화되어 도형영역의 학습 난이도는 증가하였다. 이에 관련 소프트웨어인 스케치업 프로그램을 이용하여 도형 영역에 학습 효과를 증진시켜 보고자 한다. 그러기 위해 기존 연구를 분석하였으며 3D 그래픽 소프트웨어를 분류하고 벡터 그래픽 소프트웨어에 대한 선택의 기준을 제시하여 스케치업을 선택한 이유를 설명하였다. 스케치업을 활용하기 위해 도형영역의 단원을 재구성하였는데 주로 입체도형을 만들고 회전하고 단면을 파악하는 내용을 선정하여 재구성하였다. 그리고 입체도형 쌓기에 대한 내용을 교육과정의 초기에 삽입하였다. 10개 차시를 구성하고 교수학습에서 스케치업을 활용하며 재구성 교육과정을 실천하였다. 그리고 t 검증을 통해 전후 검사를 한 결과 공간 시각화 능력과 공간 방향 능력 분야에서 유의미한 통계 결과가 나타났다. 따라서 스케치업을 이용한 도형학습에의 적용은 효과적인 것으로 해석할 수 있다.
