  • Since NFTs can be used like certificates due to the nature of blockchain, their use in various digital asset trading markets is expanding. This is because NFTs are expected to be actively used as a core technology of the metaverse virtual economy as non-transferable NFTs are developed. However, concerns about NFT security threats are also growing. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze NFT-related infringement cases and to clearly understand the current security status and risks. As a research method, we determined NFT security areas based on previous studies and analyzed infringement cases and threat types for each area. The analysis results were systematically mapped in the form of domain, case, and threat, and the meaning of the comprehensive results was presented. As a result of the research, we want to help researchers clearly understand the current state of NFT security and seek the right research direction.

  • Recently, most of information services are provided by the computer network, since the technology of computer communication is developing rapidly, and the worth of information over the network is also increasing with expensive cost. But various attacks to quietly intercept the informations is invoked with the technology of communication developed, and then most of the financial agency currently have used OTP, which is generated by a token at a number whenever a user authenticates to a server, rather than general static password for some services. A 2-factor OTP generating method using the OTP token is mostly used by the financial agency. However, the method is vulnerable to real attacks and therefore the OTP token could be robbed and disappeared. In this paper, we propose a 3-factor OTP way using HMAC to conquer the problems and analyze the security of the proposed scheme.

  • Recently, Jaiswal et al. proposed a protocol to improve the multi-agent negotiation test-bed which was proposed by Collins et al. Using publish/subscribe system, time-release cryptography and anonymous communication, their protocol gives an improvement on the old one. However, it is shown that the protocol also has some security weaknesses: such as replay data attack and DOS (denial-of-service) attack, anonymity disclosure, collusion between customers and a certain supplier. So proposed protocol reduces DOS attack and avoids replay data attack by providing ticket token and deal sequence number to the supplier. And it is proved that the way that market generates random number to the supplier is better than the supplier do by himself in guaranteeing anonymity. Market publishes interpolating polynomial for sharing the determination process data. It avoids collusion between customer and a certain supplie

  • Mobile devices use VPN solution to transfer information securely through open network in mobile office environment. In this paper, we propose Pre_Buffered mechanism that improves the throughput of IPSec VPN using low performance H/W crypto Token. Pre_Buffered method precompute key stream, store them in Buffer and use them in IPSec engine for IP packet processing. Moreover, Design, analysis, and experimental results prove the efficiency and feasibility of our proposed method.

  • BOCC(Brand's Offline Cash with a Counter) is useful in mobile environments, but it has the possibility of attacking amount data in a smart card. To insert the upper & lower limitation of amount into a token data decreases the level of risk. If upper and lower values are same, it means a fixed amount token. Since refund can more often happen in on-line commerce, refundability is added. BOCC is based on Discrete Logarithm Problem, needs exponential computations. But mobile terminals like cell phones have low computational power. As a result, ECC is used to Improve the performance supporting same security level.

  • Cross-Site Request Forgery is one of the attack techniques occurring in today's Web Applications. It allows an unauthorized attacker to send authorized requests to Web Server through end-users' browsers. These requests are approved by the Web Server as normal requests therefore unexpected results arise. The problem is that the Web Server verifies an end-user using his Cookie information. In this paper, we propose an enhanced CSRF defense scheme which uses Page Identifier and user password's hash value in addition to the Cookie value which is used to verify the normal requests. Our solution is simple to implement and solves the problem of the token disclosure when only a random token is used for normal request verification.

  • Blockchain system brought innovation in the area of accounting, credit monitoring and trade secrets. Consensus algorithm that considered the central component of blockchain, significantly influences performance and security of blockchain system. In this paper we presented four consensus protocols specifically as Proof of Work (PoW), Proof of Stake (PoS), Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) and Practical Byzantine Fault-Tolerance (PBFT), we also reviewed different security threats that affect the performance of Consensus Protocols and precisely enlist their counter measures. Further we evaluated the performance of these Consensus Protocols in tabular form based on different parameters. At the end we discussed a comprehensive comparison of Consensus protocols in terms of Throughput, Latency and Scalability. We presume that our results can be beneficial to blockchain system and token economists, practitioners and researchers.

  • Demand for NFT is expanding along with Blockchain. And cyber security threats are also increasing. Therefore, this study derives security level inspection items by analyzing status related to NFT security such as NFT features, security threats, and compliance for the purpose of strengthening NFT security. Based on this, the relative importance was confirmed by applying it to the AHP model. As a result of the empirical analysis, the priority order of importance was found in the order of Security management system establishment and operation, encryption, and risk management, etc. The significance of this study is to reduce NFT security incidents and improve the NFT security management level of related companies by deriving NFT-related security level check items and demonstrating the research model. And If you perform considering relative importance of the NFT check items, the security level can be identified early.

  • Mutual Exclusion is one of the most studied topics in distributed systems where processes communicate by asynchronous message passing. It is often necessary for multiple processes at different sites to access a shared resource or data called a critical section (CS) in distributed systems. A number of algorithms have been proposed to solve the mutual exclusion problem in distributed systems. In this paper, we propose the new algorithm which is modified from Garg's algorithm[1] thus works properly in a fault-tolerant system. In our algorithm, after electing the token generator, the elected process generates a new token based on the information of the myreqlist which is kept by every process and the reqdone which is received during election. Consequently, proposed algorithm tolerates any number of process failures and also does even when only one process is alive.
