  • Open platform technology in the banking industry is anticipated to impact the market very positively together with the activation of Fin Tech services. The domestic environment of payment services has been rapidly changing into the mobiles and multiple new payment services have been introduced from a variety of vendors. However, the convenience of payment always causes worsening the security, and the accidents on the security have been continued to occur such as leakage of personal information, hacking and so on upon the expansion of the industry and the market size. This study aims to analyze the status of Fin Tech open platforms and various problems of the related standard technologies, and to suggest the possible solutions. Upon the analysis results, it was confirmed that multiple solutions were required to improve the main security protocols of open platforms and to process the security functions diversely. In conclusion, the results of this study will be helpful to determine the direction of the solution on the security issues in the open platform environment of the current industry.

  • Currently, the security control market is operating based on AI technology. The reason for using AI is to detect large amounts of logs and big data between security equipment, and to alleviate time and human problems. However, problems are still occurring in the application of AI. The security control market is responding to many problems other than the problems introduced in this paper, and this paper attempts to deal with five problems. We would like to consider problems that arise in applying AI technology to security control environments such as 'AI model selection', 'AI standardization problem', 'Big data accuracy', 'Security Control Big Data Accuracy and AI Reliability', 'responsibility material problem', and 'lack of AI validity.'

Optimum Allocation of Reactive Power in Real-Time Operation under Deregulated Electricity Market

  • Deregulation in power industry has made the reactive power ancillary service management a critical task to power system operators from both technical and economic perspectives. Reactive power management in power systems is a complex combinatorial optimization problem involving nonlinear functions with multiple local minima and nonlinear constraints. This paper proposes a practical market-based reactive power ancillary service management scheme to tackle the challenge. In this paper a new model for voltage security and reactive power management is presented. The proposed model minimizes reactive support cost as an economic aspect and insures the voltage security as a technical constraint. For modeling validation study, two optimization algorithm, a genetic algorithm (GA) and particle swarm optimization (PSO) method are used to solve the problem of optimum allocation of reactive power in power systems under open market environment and the results are compared. As a case study, the IEEE-30 bus power system is used. Results show that the algorithm is well competent for optimal allocation of reactive power under practical constraints and price based conditions.

  • The aim of the article is to study the role of informal institutions in the development of the financial services market. The study outlines the concepts of scholars to identify the main types of informal institutions. The mechanism of research of influence of the informal factor on functioning of economic object is developed. The main types of informal institutions are systematized. The main informal institutions influencing the development of the financial services market are considered. The application of a synergetic approach to the consideration of the impact of the institution of trust on the financial services market is proposed.

  • With an increasing awareness of information security, the market demand for better information security goods and services causes shortage in well trained information security manpower. This study analyzes the priorities of the options available to the qualitative information security manpower training policy. The analysis is conducted through four hierarchies: goals, criteria, sub-criteria and alternatives for each of which priorities are developed through the rating approach of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). 3 criteria and 8 sub-criteria are involved in the four hierarchies. The analysis result indicates that the fundamental information security technology is the most desirable.

  • As information security becomes more important as the fourth industrial revolution gradually emerges, an efficient and effective way to find vulnerabilities in information systems is becoming an essential requirement of information security. As the point of the protection of current information and the protection of the future industry, the Korean government has paid attention to the bug bounty, which has been recognized for its efficiency and effectiveness and has implemented through the Korea Internet Security Agency's S/W vulnerability bug bounty program. However, there are growing problems about the S/W vulnerability bug bounty program of the Korea Internet Security Agency, which has been operating for about 7 years. The purpose of this study is to identify the problems in Korean bug bounty policies through the characteristics of the bug bounty program, and to suggest the direction of the government's policy to activate the bug bounty like changes in the government's approach utilizing the market.

  • This paper introduces a variable of methodology and models of solving Security-Constrained Price-Based Unit Commitment(SPUC) Problems in the Deregulated Power Market. The objective of SPUC is coordination between GENCOs and the ISO. GENCOs apply Price-Based Unit Commitment(PBUC) without security constraints and submit capacity bids to the ISO for maximizing their revenues. Using generation data and transmission data obtained from TRANSCOs, the ISO applies Security-Constrained Unit Commitment(SCUC), executes congestion management and contingency analysis for minimizing line flow violations and the risk supplying loads. Considering analysis data, the ISO should adjust GENCOS' bid. In this paper, we presents the result of survey and analyze on the approach of the SPUC problem.

  • The intrusion prevention system solution is receiving the spotlight as the next generation security system. It is anticipated that the system will form a very active security market both domestically and overseas. Moreover, quality evaluation proving successful inspection of merchandises is required of domestic businesses seeking to operate in the international market, and general users also prefer those that have successfully passed inspection. This study has constructed a security quality evaluation model for intrusion prevention system by deriving and analyzing security quality evaluation items required by an intrusion prevention system solution and by classifying them in detail. The derived quality evaluation model will play an important role of assessing and improving the quality of intrusion prevention system.

Business model correlation analysis according to the technology maturity of the information security industry (정보보호 산업의 기술성숙도에 따른 비즈니스 모델 상관성 분석)

  • The domestic information security market is booming, For the development of the information security industry. I wanted to suggest a strategy for finding and developing a good business model. So the main products were classified by similar industries. And The sector was selected as the dependent variable. Expert interviews were conducted and classified according to technical maturity. Independent variables were sales, number of employees, and performance. Average analysis result, sales amounted to 8.798 billion won, 13.51 years in industry, and 64.3 employees. As a result of SPSS statistical analysis, the correlation between industry type and sales according to technical maturity (r = -.729) was within 5% of significance level. The regression results were significant. (p= .047<0.05) Therefore, industry classification and sales are related to technological maturity.

  • Along with the diversification of digital content services using wired/wireless networks, the market for the construction of base systems is growing rapidly. Cloud computing services are recognized for a reasonable cost of service and superior system operations. Cloud computing is convenient as far as system construction and maintenance are concerned; however, owing to the security risks associated with the system construction of actual cloud computing service, the ICT(Information and Communications Technologies) market is lacking regardless of its many advantages. In this paper, we conducted an experiment on a cloud computing security enhancement model to strengthen the security aspect of cloud computing and provide convenient services to the users. The objective of this study is to provide secure services for system operation and management while providing convenient services to the users. For secure and convenient cloud computing, a single sign-on (SSO) technique and a system access control technique are proposed. For user authentication using SSO, a security level is established for each user to facilitate the access to the system, thereby designing the system in such a manner that the rights to access resources of the accessed system are not abused. Furthermore, using a user authentication ticket, various systems can be accessed without a reauthorization process. Applying the security technique to protect the entire process of requesting, issuing, and using a ticket against external security threats, the proposed technique facilitates secure cloud computing service.
