  • Freight management systems require a new business model for rapid decision making to improve their business processes by dynamically analyzing the previous experience data. Moreover, the amount of data generated by daily business activities to be analyzed for making better decisions is enormous. Online-to-offline or offline-to-online (O2O) is an electronic commerce (e-commerce) model used to combine the online and physical services. Data analysis is usually performed offline. In the present paper, to extend its benefits to online and to efficiently apply the big data analysis to the freight management system, we suggested a system architecture based on O2O services. We analyzed and extracted the useful knowledge from the real-time freight data for the period 2014-2017 aiming at further business development. The proposed system was deemed useful for truck management companies as it allowed dynamically obtaining the big data analysis results based on O2O services, which were used to optimize logistic freight, improve customer services, predict customer expectation, reduce costs and overhead by improving profit margins, and perform load balancing.

  • In today's broadcasting and communication systems, many applications are converged information in a complicated manner by interworking with various networks such as satellite networks. Specifically, as broadcasting and communication systems have become more advanced in terms of technology and capacity, the increase in information assets has created new types of threats and vulnerabilities that we're not previously apparent. This paper has proposed the following methodologies for analyzing the risks and estimating the economical that could arise in broadcasting and communication convergence systems. First, the assets are prioritized by grading them according to confidentiality(copyrights), integrity, and availability. Based on such an analysis, this paper presents a model that can be used for verifying the risk variables caused by changing threats and vulnerabilities. Second, this paper presents a method for quantitatively estimating the economical caused by countermeasure costs for each time period.

  • This paper presents a windows program package for solving security constrained OPF in interconnected power systems, which is based on the combined application of evolutionary programming(EP) and sequential quadratic programming(SQP). The objective functions are the minimization of generation fuel costs and system power losses. The control variables are the active power of the generating units, the voltage magnitude of the generator, transformer tap settings and SVC setting. The state variables are the bus voltage magnitude, the reactive power of the generating unit, line flows and the tie line flow. In OPF considering security, the outages are selected by contingency ranking method. The resulting optimal operating point has to be feasible after outages such as any single line outage(respect of voltage magnitude, reactive power generation and power flow limits). The OPF package proposed is applied to 10 machines 39 buses model system.

  • Financial inclusion is the safe and timely access of formal financial services to people at affordable costs. Various barriers of legacy financial system hinder the involvement of all segments of populations in the financial sector. The journey from financial exclusion to financial inclusion has to be achieved with the implementation of technological breakthroughs. Covid-19 has also raised the need for technology in all sectors of the economy. This research paper introduces the concept of intelligent financial inclusion which is the provision of financial services to people with the help of intelligent systems. This intelligent system will take the concepts from the human mind, cognitive sciences, and artificial intelligence tools and techniques. For achieving the optimal level of financial inclusion, economies must shift their financial sector from traditional means to intelligent financial systems. In this way, intelligent financial inclusion will achieve the target of involving all people in the financial sector.

  • Due to the rapid growth of the Internet of Things market, the use of the C/C++ language, which is the most widely used language in embedded systems, is also increasing. To improve the quality of code in the C/C++ language and reduce development costs, it is better to use static analysis, a software verification technique that can be performed in the first half of the software development life cycle. Many programs use static analysis to verify software safety and many static analysis tools are being used and studied. In this paper, we use Clang static analysis tool to check security weakness detection performance of verified test code. In addition, we compared the static analysis results of the test codes applied with the source obfuscation techniques, layout obfuscation, data obfuscation, and control flow obfuscation techniques, and the static analysis results of the original test codes, Analyze the detection ability impact of the Clang static analysis tool.

  • In the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, the importance of information protection is increasing day by day with the advent of the 'hyper-connection society', and related government financial investment is also increasing. The source of the government's fiscal investment projects is taxpayers' money. Therefore, the government needs to evaluate the effectiveness and feasibility of the project by comparing the public benefits created by the financial investment projects with the costs required for it. At present, preliminary feasibility study system which evaluates the feasibility of government financial investment projects in Korea has been implemented since 1994, but most of them have been actively carried out only in some fields such as large SOC projects. In this study, we discuss the feasibility evaluation of public projects for the purpose of information security. we introduce the case study of the personal information protection program of Korean public institutions and propose a cost-effectiveness analysis method that can be applied to the feasibility study of the information protection field. Finally, we presented the feasibility study and criteria applicable in the field of information security.

  • With the development of networking technology, it has become common to use various types of network services to replace physical ones. Among all such services, electronic voting is one example that tends to be popularized in many countries. However, due to certain concerns regarding information security, traditional paper voting mechanisms are still widely adopted in large-scale elections. This study utilizes blockchain technology to design a novel electronic voting mechanism. Relying on the transparency, decentralization, and verifiability of the blockchain, it becomes possible to remove the reliance on trusted third parties and also to enhance the level of trust of voters in the mechanism. Besides, the mechanism of blind signature with its complexity as difficult as solving an elliptic curve discrete logarithmic problem is adopted to strengthen the features related to the security of electronic voting. Last but not least, the mechanism of self-certification is incorporated to substitute the centralized certificate authority. Therefore, the voters can generate the public/private keys by themselves to mitigate the possible risks of impersonation by the certificate authority (i.e., a trusted third party). The BAN logic analysis and the investigation for several key security features are conducted to verify that such a design is sufficiently secure. Since it is expected to raise the level of trust of voters in electronic voting, extra costs for re-verifying the results due to distrust will therefore be reduced.
