  • There are many kinds of elements and processes for the development of high quality bedding products like fiber, high-temperature heat treatment, dyeing process, tenter drying with softening agent and multiple final finishing. Especially we examined the mechanical characteristic properties of fabrics according to different yarn types. The critical physical properties of the yarn consisting the pile knitted fabrics were obtained for the development of the hi-grade bedding items. The material property and the exhaustion behaviour of the developed pile knitted fabrics composing of different yarns were measured and observed. The physical properties of the developed fabric were evaluated through the material property analysis of the yarn, the physical nature of the pile knitted fabrics and the data of the exhaustion performance; tensile strength, tensile elongation, tearing strength, cross section of yarn types, dyeing properties etc. And then high-class of bedding items were knitted using the double raschel machine to make the pile knitted fabrics.

  • 본 논문에서는 복합재료를 이용하여 플렉스빔과 토크튜브를 제작하기 위한 공정과 기본 물리량 시험과정을 소개하였다. 플렉스빔과 토크튜브는 헬리콥터에 적용되는 무베어링 로터 허브 시스템을 구성하기 위한 핵심 구성품이다. 토크튜브는 블레이드의 피치각을 변화시키기 위한 조종력을 전달하며, 플렉스빔은 구조적인 변형을 통해 플랩, 래그 및 페더링 힌지를 구현하는 기능을 담당한다. 지상회전시험을 수행하기에 앞서 플렉스빔과 토크튜브 및 블레이드의 플랩강성, 래그강성 및 토션강성을 측정하기 위한 기본 물리량 시험을 수행하였다. 또한, 해석을 통해 예측된 단면 강성과 기본 물리량을 통해 획득된 강성 값을 비교하였으며, 그 결과를 통해 복합재료로 제작된 플렉스빔과 토크튜브가 구조적인 강성 요구도를 만족함을 확인할 수 있었다.

사회면 기사 분석(1998년~2009년)을 통해 본 뉴스 미디어의 현실구성 (A Trend Analysis of the Metro Sections of News Media in Korea during 1998 and 2009)

  • 이 연구는 지난 12년간 (1998년에서 2009년) 국내 뉴스 미디어의 사회면 기사의 변화 추세와 뉴스 미디어 간의 차이를 분석하는 것을 목적으로 했다. 연구목적 달성을 위해 이 연구는 지난 12년간(1998년 1월에서 2009년 8월)의 사회면 기사 전체의 헤드라인을(n=53,765) 비교하여, 뉴스기사를 통해 드러나는 현실이 시간의 흐름에 따라 변화가 있는지를 조사했다. 그리고 신문과 방송이라는 매체적 특성 그리고 뉴스 미디어의 이념적 성향에 따른 차이를 비교해 보기 위해 국내 지상파 방송 3사에서 보도된 기사와 주요 7개 전국지에 게재된 기사의 헤드라인을 매체와 개별 뉴스 미디어의 두 수준에 걸쳐 비교했다. 분석 결과, 뉴스 미디어의 사회면 기사는 현실과 정권이라고 하는 요인에 의해 영향을 받으며 이 두 요인의 공통성으로 인해 뉴스 미디어간 다소의 유사성을 지니게 된다는 결론에 도달했다. 그러나 동일한 대상(현실과 정권)을 받아들이는 방향과 정도의 차이 때문에 뉴스 미디어 간에 차별화가 이뤄지며 이러한 차이는 사회면 기사의 주제 선택에 영향을 미치게 됨을 알 수 있었다.

댐체 물성 평가를 위한 S파 반사법에 관한 연구 (A Study on S-wave Reflection method for the assessment of physical property of dam body)

  • Shear modulus (or rigidity) of dam material is an important parameter which can be directly associated with the deformation of dam. Seepage or leakage of water can cause the defects or cracks of dam body. The existence of cracks and rigidity of dam body are decisive information for the estimation of dam safety. Rigidity of material is mainly determined from S-wave velocity and the defects of dam body can be detected by seismic reflection survey. Therefore, seismic reflection survey will be a desirable method which can give a solution about dam safety problem. Among various physical properties of dam body, S-wave velocity is the most important information but it is not easy to get the information. In this study, diverse measuring techniques of S-wave reflection survey were attempted to get the information about S-wave velocity of dam body. Ultimately, S-wave velocity could be estimated by the analysis of SH reflection events which can be easily observed in shot gather data obtained from SH measuring technique. Meanwhile, P-wave reflection survey was also performed at the same profile. P-beam radiation technique which can reduce the surface waves and reinforce the P-wave reflection events was applied for giving a help to analyse P-wave velocity. In the end, P-and S-wave velocity, Vs/Vp, Poisson's ratio distribution of the vertical section under the profile could be acquired.

플라이애시 및 석회석 미분말을 사용한 고유동 노출 콘크리트의 품질특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Quality Properties of Exposed High Fluidity Concrete using Fly Ash and Limestone Powder)

  • 최근 노출 콘크리트에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있으며, 이에 따라 노출 콘크리트의 사용이 확대되고 있다. 그러나 콘크리트 구조물은 점차 복합한 단면 및 조밀한 철근으로 인하여 기존의 노출 콘크리트용 일반 콘크리트를 적용하기 어려운 실정이다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 노출 콘크리트에 고유동 콘크리트를 적용하기 위하여 플라이애시 및 석회석 미분말을 사용한 고유동 노출 콘크리트를 제조하였으며, 콘크리트의 품질특성(유동특성, 역학특성 및 표면특성)을 평가하였다. 실험배합은 OPC 및 LSP10을 기준배합으로 하였으며, FA 혼합률(0, 10, 15 및 20)에 따라 콘크리트 품질에 미치는 영향을 평가하였다. 실험결과, 고유동 노출 콘크리트의 유동특성, 역학특성 및 표면특성은 소요 요구 조건을 만족하는 것으로 나타났으며, 플라이애시 및 석회석 미분말의 혼합에 따라 유동성 및 표면마감성이 향상되는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통하여, 노출 콘크리트용 고유동 콘크리트 개발을 위한 기초연구 자료로써 활용하고자 한다.

  • Objectives : Medical treating with eating foods is one of important therapies in East Asian traditional medical knowledge and is referred as a therapy to treat diseases through foods. Since the food cannot be separated from ordinary people living, the medical treating with eating foods is a therapy with strong locality and contains many autogenous parts. Methods : Recently, the world is showing much interest for genetic resources, and the concept of intellectual property is rapidly expanding as the field of 'new knowledge property right' as well. Thus, the knowledge of medical treating with eating foods recently draws much attention in the economic aspect beyond the scholarly interest for traditional medicine. Here, I would like to summarize and report the contents related to medical treating with eating foods on "Yi, SeikKan experience prescriptions" which was discovered before. Results & Conclusions : First, medical treating with eating porridge on "Yi, SeikKan experience prescriptions" is classified into one with nonglutinous rice as the main ingredient and the other with other grains as the main ingredient. It is differently utilized depending on the nature of the grain. Second, medical treating with eating rice on "Yi, SeikKan experience prescriptions" was born from our nation's unique way of living and is classified into one way to eat rice mixed with ground medicinal herbs, another one to cook and eat rice with mixed grains and the other way to use as the external application. Medical treating with eating rice is assumed to replace the meal. Third, "food section" was given separately and discussed in this book. There were some parts different from existing medical knowledge due to the accumulation of experience using medicinal herbs. Fourth, we should pay attention to experience a book on medicine where vibrant medical information has been recorded in order to discover and process our traditional knowledge resources as a useful form.

도로포장 보수용 상온식 균열실링 재료의 개발 및 평가 (Development and Evaluation of Cold-applied Crack Sealant for Pavement Maintenance)

  • PURPOSES: The objectives of this study are to develop a new cold-applied crack sealant and to evaluate its properties and field applicability by comparing with other conventionally used crack sealants. METHODS : A new cold-applied crack sealant was developed by using neoprene latex to improve material properties. The fundamental properties such as viscosity, residue %, penetration, and softening point of the developed crack sealant were tested by TxDOT criteria to evaluate crack sealing capability. Moreover, the performance of the developed cold-applied crack sealant was evaluated under both laboratory and field conditions. In the laboratory, the bond property was evaluated using the developed cold-applied crack sealant and conventional hot-applied crack sealant by the bond-properties test standardized under ASTM D 6690. In the field, test sections were constructed on three areas: a trunk road, bus-only lane, and motorway, with the developed crack sealant and three conventional crack sealants. After construction, early field-inspection was performed on the test sections. RESULTS AND CONCLUSIONS : Overall, the developed cold-applied crack sealant demonstrates reasonable storage stability, durability, and bond property compared to conventional hot-applied crack sealants. From the test sections, it was established that the developed cold-applied crack sealant does not pose construction issues. Moreover, the early performance was verified through field inspection. However, as the field inspection was conducted a week after the construction, it is necessary to conduct an inspection of performance from a long-term point of view.

  • In this study, we fabricated tubular ceramic support for segmented-in-series solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) by using CSZ(CaO-stabilized $ZrO_2$) as main material and activated carbon as pore former. Thermal expansion properties of ceramic support with different amounts of activated carbon were analyzed by using dilatometer to decide a suitable sintering temperature. The tubular ceramic supports with different amounts of activated carbon (5, 10, 15wt.%) were fabricated by the extrusion technique. After sintering at $1100^{\circ}C$ and $1400^{\circ}C$ for 5h., cross section and surface morphology of tubular ceramic support were analyzed by using SEM image. Also, the porosity, mechanical property, gas permeability of tubular ceramic supports was measured. Based on these results, we established the suitable fabrication technique of tubular ceramic support for segmented-in-series SOFC.

KR60 레일의 미세조직과 기계적 물성 평가 (Investigation of Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of KR60 Rail)

  • The use of continuous welded rail is increasing because of its many advantages, including vibration reduction, enhanced driving stability, and maintenance cost savings. In this work, two different types of continuous welded rails were examined to determine the influence of repeated wheel-rail contact on the crystal structure, microstructure and mechanical properties of the rails. The crystal structure was determined by x-ray diffraction, and the microstructure was examined using optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy. Tensile and microhardness tests were conducted to examine the mechanical behaviors of prepared specimens taken from different positions in the cross section of both newly manufactured rail and worn rail. Analysis revealed that both the new and worn rail had a mixed microstructure consisting of ferrite and pearlite. The specimens from the top position of each rail exhibited decreased lamella spacing of the pearlite and increased yield strength, ultimate tensile strength and hardness, as compared with those from other positions of the rail. It is thought that the enhanced mechanical property on the top position of the worn rail might be explained by a mixed effect resulting from a directional microstructure, the decreased lamella spacing of pearlite, and work hardening by the repeated wheel-rail contact stress.

  • 이 논문에서 우리는 응급상황에 대응하여 일정 구간의 교통신호를 능동적으로 제어함으로써 재산과 인명 손실을 최소화할 수 있는 응급상황 대응 교통신호 제어 시스템을 개발하였다. 응급 차량 단말기에서 식별정보 및 GPS 정보를 포함한 응급신호를 송출하면 카메라에서 주위 영상을 획득하게 되고, 딥러닝 기반으로 객체를 분석하여 객체의 위치, 종류, 크기 등 정보를 가지는 객체정보를 출력한다. 이 객체를 트래킹한 정보를 생성하여 신호체계를 검출한 후 신호체계를 응급모드로 전환하여 수신받은 GPS 정보를 기준으로 응급 차량을 식별·추적하고 이 응급 차량의 진행 경로 기준으로 긴급 제어신호를 교통신호 제어기로 전송할 수 있는 체계이다. 이 시스템은 응급신호에 따라 우선 적용되는 긴급 제어신호에 의해 응급 차량의 진행이 저지되지 않도록 하여, 교통상 장애에 따른 인명과 재산의 손실을 최소화할 수 있다.
