스크린 필터 구조 Partial Metal DPF의 PM 저감 특성 (PM Reduction Characteristics of Partial Metal DPF with Screen Mesh Filter Structure)

  • In this work, the 1L grade integrated metal DOC/DPF filter that can install in engine manifold position was developed to investigate the effect of platinum-coating amount of filter on the improvement of filter activation temperature and reduction of particulate matter (PM). This filter was installed in 2.9L CI engine which meets the EURO-4 emission regulation. Tests for PM reduction efficiency of filter were conducted under ND-13 mode with full-load test condition. It was revealed that the time to reach the activation temperature of metal filter ($280^{\circ}C$) was shorter as the amount of platinum-coating increased. This short activation time can be helpful for the reduction of CO and HC emissions during cold start condition. At the same time, PM reduced as the coating amount increased. The reduction percentage of $DOC_{40}$, $DOC_{20}$, and $DOC_0$ were 96.7% (2.34 mg/kW'h), 95.1% (3.47 mg/kW'h), and 94.5% (3.69 mg/kW'h) compared to previous result (71.4 mg/kW'h), respectively.

  • Simple chest radiography is the most frequently performed examination in radiologic practice. However, with transmitted dose through chest which has the problem of wide variations in absorption, conventional Film/Screen Combinations Method make it difficult to delineate lung field mediastinum & cardia portion and subdiaphragmatic structures. In order to overcome this problem, we have been tried several methods as follows. High Kilovoltage Technique, Rare Earth Screen/Wide Lattitude Film, Use of Compensating Filter and Digital Beam Attenuator and recently Insigh System has been developed. In this paper, we'd like to discuss Insight film through apperciation by measuring the difference of contrast. In order to evaluate insight film. We have done experiments using Insight System with Simple Phase, Picker 550. We could get an result which was able to overcome the limitted dynamic range of conventional Film/Screen System remarkably.

  • BiNbO$_{4}$ ceramics with 0.07wt% V$_{2}$O$_{5}$ and 0.03wt% CuO (BNC3V7) sintered at 900 .deg. C where it is possible for these to be co-fired with ag electronde. Dielectric constant of 44.3 TCF (Thermal Coefficient of resonance Frequency) of 2 ppm/.deg. C and Qxf value 22,000 GHz can be obtained from BNC3V7. the laminatedchip LC filter is indispensible to the minimaturization of PCS (Personal Communication System) terminals. Therefore, multilayer type BPF has been fabricated by screen-printing with silver electrode after tape casting. The simulated characteristics of the fabricated filters sintered at 900.deg. C werecomparedwith the designed ones. for Band Pass Filter widths was similar that ofdesigned ones. For Low Pass Filter (LPF), insertion loss value of band pass widths (2.4 dB) which is a few higher than that of designed (1dB), but characteristization of band pass widths was similar that of designed ones.s.of designed ones.s.

$BiNbO_4$세라믹스를 이용한 저역통과 필터에 관한 연구 (Experimental Fabrication of Low Pass Filter of $BiNbO_4$ Ceramics)

  • $BiNbO_4$ ceramics doped with 0.07wt% $V_2O_5$ and 0.03wt% CuO (BNC3V7) were sucessfully sintered at $900^{\circ}C$ through the firing process with Ag electrode. The BNC3V7 shows typically Dielectric constant of 44.3, Thermal Coefficient of resonance Frequency(TCF) of 2 ppm/$^{\circ} and $Qxf_o$ value of 22,000 GHz. The laminated chip Low Pass Filter (LPF) is very sensitive to chip processing parameters, was confirmed by the computer simulation as a function of Q(Quality factors), filter size, capacitor layer thickness, inductor pattern widths. The multilayer type LPF was fabricated by screen-printing with Ag electrode after tape casting and then compared with the simulated characteristics. The results show that characterization of band pass width was similar to that of designed ones.

  • We have developed of the exposure technique for the chest radiography to get different contrast in left and right lung fields simultaneously for the effective diagnosis, I.E., get high contrast to detect tuberculosis, dispersal shadow or exudative lesions of early tuberculosis and get better sharpness and wider latitude to detect growing lesions of lung cancer or lesions overlapped with bones. As a result, by using an additional filter Cu 1.2mm with BX-III screen side and sheet of yellow cellophane on BF-III screen side at the conventional KV ($80KV{\sim}100KV$) for the chest X-ray, we can get similar densities in both left and right lung fields and, thus, this method is considered to be very effective for the quality diagnosis for the routine chest radiography.

정수기용 입상활성탄소 필터의 흡착특성에 관한 고찰 (Adsorption Characteristics of Granular Activated Carbon Filter Used for Drinking Water Purifier)

  • Quality test for activated carbon(AC) filter used for drinking water purifier is now an obligatory test and the standard material for valid purifying amount in water purifier performance test has been changed from residual chlorine to chloroform according to the notice of Ministry of Environment in 2006. Therefore, this study aimed to compare the ingredients of AC filters by confirming chloroform removal rate of AC filter and conducting 4 adsorption tests (Iodine, methylene blue decolorization, phenol value, ADS value) for AC filters provided by manufacturers. With water pressure of $1kgf/cm^2$, 1,500 liters of prepared inflow went through to check chloroform removal rate. As a result, product with removal rate of below 60% from all products. On the other hand, 4 adsorption tests were conducted for filters in the market and filters from manufacturers. None of the products satisfied all 4 tests. In particular, they showed great shortage to the standard in phenol value and ADS value test. However, manufacturers' filter showed much better performance than filters in the market. Also, the result of valid purifying amount test for each of five products of appropriate product and inappropriate product based on filter quality test showed average 4,440 liters for appropriate product and average 2,620 liters for inappropriate product. According to the result, it is shown that the filter with good adsorption also had good chloroform removal efficiency and adsorption efficiency. Therefore, it is expected that customers can screen good quality product through obligatory conduct of filter quality test. However, it is considered that complementation in system is required for future inspection.

슬러리 양돈분뇨의 최적 고액분리 방안 연구 (A Practical Study on the Solid-Liquid Separation of the Swine Wastewater from Slurry Feedlot)

  • 현재 국내에서 처리에 어려움을 겪고 있으며 사회적으로 문제가 되고 있는 양돈 분뇨의 처리중 생물학적 처리를 위한 전처리 공정의 일환으로 비육돈 슬러리 돈사에서 발생하는 분뇨를 대상으로 고액분리에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 최적의 고액 분리를 위하여 적정 응집제 선정 및 첨가량을 도출하였으며, 현장 규모의 고액 분리 장치를 통하여 규모별 최적 고액 분리 공정을 도출하였다. 이 결과 탈수성 개량을 위한 적정 응집제로는 Polyarcylamide 계열의 양이온 고분자 응집제인 E-851이 적합하였으며, 단위 고형물당 0.24~0.6%가 요구되었다. 본 연구에서 검토된 공정으로는 Mesh Screen, Drum Screen, Cyclone Drum Filter, Screw Press, 고속 Screw Decanter, 저속 Screw Decanter 및 DAF 공정을 조합하여 검토하였다. 그 결과 최적 공정으로는 중 소규모의 1차 고액 분리 공정으로는 Screw Press(응집제 첨가)와 대규모 및 공공처리장 규모에서는 저속 Screw Decanter(응집제 첨가)가 적정 공정으로 도출되었으며 2차 처리 공정으로는 가압부상조가 가장 안정적인 것으로 나타났다. 한편 고액 분리 유무에 따라 수분조절제 및 유기물 부하량 감소는 각각 94.8, 84.7%로 나타났으며 슬러리 양돈분뇨의 정화방안으로는 고액분리가 반드시 필요한 것으로 나타났다.

  • This paper is concentrated on the recognition of Korean Digits. The speech signals of each of digits are fed into computer through the 18 bandpass filters, AD converter. Spectrum input data are analyzed and used. BASIC program language is used for recognition performance and the result of recognition is outputed to computer screen and printer. In this paper, the strength and weakness of filter-bank analysis method is described and the technique of real-time recognition is argued. In this experiment, Ratio of recognition for speaker dependent recognition was about 97% and recognition time was also satisfied. Therefore, A way of speaker independent recognition will be presented and using for special communication in the future.

  • This work was on the reduction of exposure dose and contrast improvement by Use of Heavy Elements Filter From the result of experimental evaluation, it was found that the beam harding of X-ray was not showed in Ho and Gd, heavy elements filters, contrast to Cu and Al filters In which the harding showed. And the ratio of transit dose to surface dose and the load of X-ray tube increase in order of Al, Cu, Gd and Ho, respectively. The contrast of X-ray images using the intensifying screen and the input phosphor showed the higher value in order of Cu, Al, Gd and Ho. Therefore, in the case of using contrast media and phosphor in region of diagnostic radiology, X-ray image quality depends primarily on kVp and heavy elements filters.

JND와 경계 보호 평탄화 필터를 이용한 휘도 및 색상 복원 (JND based Illumination and Color Restoration Using Edge-preserving Filter)

  • 본 논문에서는 임의의 조명 상황에서 왜곡된 영상을 JND(Just noticeable difference)와 경계 보호 평탄화 필터(edge-preserving smoothing filter)를 사용하여 자동적으로 휘도 및 색상을 복원하는 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 최적의 휘도 보상, 선명한 색상 복원, 휘도 보상 시 발생되는 여러 가지 문제점의 최소화, 자동화된 매개변수 추정 그리고 하드웨어 구현을 위한 고속화 등을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이를 위하여 본 논문에서는 후광효과(HALO)나 노이즈 증폭 등의 눈에 거슬리는 결함을 제거하기 위하여 경계 보호 평탄화 필터의 효용성에 대해 보인다. 또한 제안된 색상 복원 함수는 인간시각에 근거해 자연스러운 색상의 복원과 왜곡된 색상의 보정을 수행한다. 자동화된 처리를 위하여 영상의 통계적 분석과 JND를 이용해 적합한 매개변수를 찾으며 모든 상수는 미리 정의되어 사용된다. 또한 터치스크린 카메라를 이용한 관심영역(ROI : Region of Interest) 기반 매개변수 추정기법을 사용하여 역광 사진 보정을 좀 더 효율적으로 수행한다. 객관적 평가를 위해 CMC, CIEde2000, PSNR, SSIM, 그리고 3D CIELAB 색역을 기존의 연구나 상업 제품들과 비교하였다.
