Finite element method (FEM) has been widely used as a useful numerical method that can analyze complex engineering problems in electro-magnetics, mechanics, and others. CEMTool, which is similar to MATLAR, is a command style design and analyzing package for scientific and technological algorithm and a matrix based computation language. In this paper, we present new 3D FEM package in CEMTool environment. In contrast to the existing CEMTool 2D FEM package and MATLAB PDE (Partial Differential Equation) Toolbox, our proposed 3D FEM package can deal with complex 3D models, not a cross-section of 3D models. Consequently, with our new 3D FEM toolbox, we can analyze more diverse engineering Problems which the existing CEMTool 2D FEM package or MATLAB PDE Toolbox can not solve.

Nowadays, from the study of quantitative linguistics, the application of quantitative method is located in a variety of fields as a necessary method. According to this phenomenon, the knowledge of statistical method is requisite for linguists. However, unfortunately, there still remain difficulties for them to acquire the statistical knowledge. So, it is needed for linguists to be helped by statisticians and their active roles. Accordingly, this study is going to emphasizing that statisticians should have more interests in the field of quantitative linguistics. Moreover, it will prove that by using statistical methods, analysis on the linguistic research becomes more objective and scientific.

CEMTool is a command style design and analyzing package for scientific and technological algorithm and a matrix based computation language. In this paper, we present new FEM (Finite Element Method) package in CEMTool environment. In contrast to the existing MATLAB PDE Toolbox, our proposed FEM package can deal with the combination of the reserved words. Also, we can control the mesh in a very effective way With the introduction of new mesh generation algorithm and NDM (Hosted Dissection Method), our FEM package can guarantee the shorter computational time than MATLAB PDE Toolbox. In addition, using the advanced electromagnetics library of CEMTool FEM package, we can analyze the practical problems such as the motor field analysis. Consequently, with our new FEM package, we can overcome some disadvantages of the existing MATLAB PDE Toolbox.

Lee Sang, one of the representative poets of Korean Modern Poetry, wrote poems which present the existentialistic modernism in the 1920s, the chaotic era of Korean history. The characteristics of his works have been shown by various points of view. This paper especially explored the meaning and feature of mathematical expressions by numbers, symbols and other signs of mathematics in Lee's poems. His poems are composed by scientific and abstract rules in mathematics which are expressed as mathematical symbols. The paper focuses on analyzing seven poems which maximizes mathematical expressions among his poetry. This kind of work would be the one of ways to figure out the features of mathematics through literature.

The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the selection process of the Science Citation Index(SCI). SCI has been the benchmarking medium of scientific journals for over 40 years by reviewing thousands of journals published each year. The discipline of Traditional Oriental Medicine has been gaining global interest in recent years, yet the number of related journals indexed by SCI has been minimal. Korean Medicine has been producing number of quality journals for decades, but lack of journals in the English language and other problems has hindered consideration for registering with SCI. This paper will focus on the journal selection process at ISI and recommend the criteria needed for a journal to be considered for SCI selection.

Computer in one of the most tremendous achievements of the modern scientific technique. Not only in government, business, research and education but in our daily life. computers are widely utilized to assist in solving various problems. With increasing frequency, it is recognized that a right understanding of the computer is necessary: naturally, this recognition places a great emphasis on the computer education. In Korea computer is chosen either as an optional subject or as a kind of group activity in many schools. It is the purpose of this study to compare and analyze the internal sorting algorithms which are used frequently in data processing. and to present the results of program analysis. which will make it possible to choose the appropriate sorting algorithm for each data processing. Generally the algorithms are coded in a language appropriate for structured programming. like PASCAL: however, here the algorithms are expressed in BASIC which is widely used with the personal computers so that the students and the teachers may understand them easily.

Typical weathering landforms and phenomena including tafoni and gnamma are usually interpreted as man-made alteo (praying water bowl) or dragon-alteo by folklore researchers. Despite some terminological ambiguity, they are certainly natural weathering pits and are introduced in our discipline for fifty years, however, unfortunately most of them are interpreted as petroglyphs used and prepared for ritual ceremony. Several seemingly artificially-made rock holes are also found in many places, but most of them are weathered landforms by salt weathering. Author believes that communication effort to use common language and publish more researches in interdisciplinary journals are very essential to propagate scientific achievements made by geomorphologists to other discipline. Also geomorphologists specialized in weathering processes are encouraged to participate in preservation of stone artifacts and archaeological remains.

The modern classification of pedagogical innovations is given. The factors of the success of the introduction of pedagogical innovations are determined. The purpose of this study is to clarify that critical writing can be a positive stimulus factor for the cultivation of critical thinking through actual cases of writing education targeting engineering students in universities. Critical writing education is a very important way to develop critical thinking necessary for acquiring scientific knowledge, sharing social values, creativity and cultivating new production capacity. Especially, when critical writing education is performed with materials that maintain critical view of social reality such as the movie "Bowling for Columbine", it is characterized by the fact that it is naturally combined with the dimension of engineering ethics faced by engineers from the analysis and judgment of social reality. This is an example of the fact that critical thinking education for engineering students does not necessarily meet their major areas.
