Catch-up is a well-known and familiar terminology for innovation scholars in developing countries such as Taiwan, Korea and China. The strategy, however, is too difficult to perform in each industry. This study looks into a catch-up strategy that Apple and Xiaomi used and examines the results on the creative imitation of business model in the smartphone industry. It is quite surprising that even Apple is based on catch-up strategy. They wanted to catch-up Nokia. Our case study shows that these two companies quickly caught up with the leaders, and the common feature of their strategy is characterized as creative imitation of business model. Creative imitation of business model is different from creative imitation of innovation. Furthermore, this research confirms that the creative imitation of business model leads to aggressive creative innovation.

Korean government has adopted the French TGV as a high-speed transportation system and the first service is scheduled at the end of 2003. TGV-relevant documents are consisted of huge volumes, of which over than 76% has been translated in English. A large part of the English version is, however, incomprehensible without referring to the original French version. The goal of this paper is to demonstrate how DiET 2.5, a lexicon builder, makes it possible to build with ease domain-specific terminology lexicon that may contain multimedia and multilingual data with multi-layered logical information. We believe our wok shows an important step in enlarging the language scope and the development of electronic lexica, and in providing the flexibility of defining any type of the DTD and the interconnectivity among collaborators. As an application of DiET 2.5, we would like to build a TGV-relevant lexicon in the near future.

Objective : There is a growing interest on Complementary and Alternative Medicine(CAM). But the term 'CAM' often causes confusion, for the perception of CAM is determined by how the relationship between CAM and Conventional Medicine is established. Methods : In this paper, we researched the concept of CAM through the change in the terminology and definition of CAM throughout history. Furthermore, we also analyzed related papers in Korea. Results : International studies show that the relationship between Conventional Medicine and CAM has become more cooperative. Meanwhile, in Korea, Korean Medicine is categorized as a type of Conventional Medicine, not CAM. Conclusion : Though Korean Medicine is included in Conventional Medicine in Korea, the research methodology is still restricted in ways of bio-medical science. Further study on the original research method of Korean Medicine is needed.

국방과학기술 분야 업무의 효율성을 극대화하기 위해서는 국가적인 차원에서 국방 관련 기관들이 사용하고 있는 국방과학기술 분야의 전문용어를 광범위하게 수집하고 기술 체계를 통일하여 관리하는 것이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 고도의 신뢰성이 요구되는 국방과학기술 정보분석의 기반을 제공하기 위해서 국방과학기술분야를 중심으로 전문용어의 선정, 기술 기준, 기술 구조를 포함하는 모든 프로세스를 표준화하는 것은 물론, 온라인 서비스에 전문용어 사전의 효과적으로 활용하기 위한 방안을 제시하고 있다.

This study was to provide model of SOAP Note, as a English and a Korean. English model was written with abbreviation. Abbreviations are und as a time and space saver while writing a notes. Acceptable abbreviations varies from one facility to the next, particularly terminology specific to allied health field such as physical therapy and occupational therapy. Based on the research results, the following consideration and guideline are presented. 1. Include the SOAP Note in curriculums of physical therapy. 2. The list of abbreviation have to approved between the Korea Hospital Association and the Korea Physical Therapy Association.

현재, 과학기술, 정치, 사회, 문화의 급격한 변화와 발전에 따라, 전문분야마다 새로운 전문용어가 빈번히 생성되거나 소멸되고 있다. 이러한 전문용어를 포함한 문서를 정확히 해석하기 위해서는 전문용어 전자사전이 필요하다. 전문용어 전자사전을 개발하는데는 수시로 생성되는 전문용어 표제어를 정확히 추출하는 것이 무엇보다 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 전문용어 표제어를 컴퓨터를 이용하여 추출하는 시스템을 개발하였다. 기본적으로 기존의 전문용어가 사용된 특정어구를 이용하여 전문용어를 추출한다. 또한, 전문용어의 어절 패턴을 이용하여 후보 전문 용어를 추출한 후, 전문용어를 구성할 수 있는 단어의 위치정보를 이용하여 전문용어를 추출하는 방법을 제안한다. 기존 전문용어 사전에 없는 단어에 대해서는 시소러스를 이용하여 유사 단어의 위치정보를 이용하는 방법을 이용하였다.

The anatomy of the voice is not limited to the region of the larynx. Practically all body systems affect the voice. The larynx receives the greatest attention because it is the most sensitive and expressive component of the vocal mechanism, but anatomic interactions throughout the singer's body must be considered in making the singing voice. The physiology of voice production is exceedingly complex. The voice requires interactions among the power source, the oscillator, and the resonator. The review of functional anatomy and physiology in vocal technique would provide information on the terminology, components, and workings of the voice to permit an understanding of practical, every clinical problems and their solutions. The otolaryngologist, speech language pathologist, singing or acting teacher, singer, and actor would have benefit greatly from more extensive study of voice science.

Fibro-osseous lesions are composed of connective tissue and varying amount of mineralized substances, which may be bony or cementum-like structures. It is necessary for oral radiologist to differentiate due to the tendency of these fibro-osseous lesions to show similar histopathologic appearances, while the management of each lesion is different. However we often encounter a little difficulty in judgement because there are some overlaps between concept of each lesions. So recently I suggest, we face a need to review basic concept and classification of several fibro-osseous jaw lesions. In this article, several fibre-osseous lesions, such as fibrous dysplasia, cemento-ossifying fibroma and cemento-osseous dysplasia, will be discussed basing on the review of literature. particular emphasis will be made on the nomenclature revision of WHO's classification in 1992.

전문용어의 수가 급증하면서 전문용어를 자동으로 인식하는 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 전문용어를 인식하기 위해서 전문용어의 범위를 정한 뒤 그 전문용어의 분야를 선택해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 생물/의학 사전정보와 CRF(Conditional Random Fields) 기계학습 기법을 사용하여 연구를 진행한다. 기계학습을 위한 자질로 품사, 접사, 대소문자, 숫자, 특수문자, 단서어휘 등을 사용한다. 특히 단서어휘와 사전정보를 중요한 요소로 생각하여, 3가지 방법으로 나누어 실험한다. 총 분야의 개수는 7개이며, 각 분야별로 정확률, 재현율, F-measure를 측정한다. 경계인식은 83.92%의 정확률, 96.42%의 재현율, 89.73의 F-measure가 결과로 나타났고, 분야분류는 79.29%의 정확률, 91.06%의 재현율, 84.77%의 F-measure가 결과로 나타났다.

이 논문에서는 보다 효과적이고 편리한 서비스를 제공할 수 잇는 전자상거래를 위한 다중 에이전트 기반의 확장된 비교 쇼핑 시스템을 제안한다. 이 시스템은 웹 크로울링(web crawling)을 통해 비교 쇼핑 시스템의 대상이 되는 웹사이트들의 페이지 추출 정보를 입수한다. 각 쇼핑 사이트에서는 정보 추출을 위한 중심이 되는 랩퍼(wraper) 기술은 먼저 정보가 있는 페이지를 가려내고, 정보가 있다고 판명되는 페이지들에서 상품 정보의 위치 즉, 반복되는 패턴(pattern)을 추출하여 필요한 상품 기술 단위 정보를 뽑아내는 학습 알고리즘이며, 각 사이트에 맞게 만들어진 랩퍼 에이전트(wrapper agent)에 대해 유효성을 검사하는 방법론을 제시한다. 또한, 학습 시 필요한 지식(knowledge)으로서의 디렉토리(directory) 구성은 미리 만들어진 표준 카테고리(category)와 용어(terminology) 존재하에 제한적이나마 새로운 디렉토리 요소에 대해 자동으로 확장할 수 있는 방법론을 제안한다.
