This study aims to investigate factors affecting eBook acceptance and learning outcomes among students experiencing online distance learning. As conventional textbooks are now switched into eBooks, the effects of contextual factors including lecturer, student computer competency, content and design of the course, access ability, infrastructure, and university support on eBook acceptance and learning outcome needs to be evaluated. The sample of this study is represented by students at the Universiti Teknologi MARA, City Campus Melaka, undertaking 'strategic management course'. Non-probability random sampling was selected as the sampling technique and a purposive sampling method was chosen to select the samples. The samples comprised 171 students randomly selected through Google Form. The questionnaire data was analyzed by using PLS-SEM. The results indicated that these factors contributed 62.3% variations in the eBook acceptance and 67.1% variations in the learning outcomes. The strongest factor affecting both dependent variables was content and design of course. Managerial implication suggested that the content for all courses taught through the eBook platform needs to be revisited and improved in accordance with the mode of online deliverance. Tutorial on how to navigate the eBook platform is important to all users as this would enhance acceptance and produce better learning outcomes among students.
Purpose: Strategic management research and findings are usually not focused on dealing with concrete instruments for measuring individual competencies. The presence of traditional human resources management instruments, which include the aspects of job analysis, selection training, and even development, has been used frequently for many years in organizations. This study aims to investigate the relationship between employee reading habits and their innovativeness. Research design, data and methodology: The research methodology applied in this case is qualitative research methods. It is a method that involves the collection of data from non-numerical formats. The technique helped in understanding the relationship that exists between the reading habits of the employees and the competencies of innovation. Results: The present researchers figured out the meaningful connection between the independent variable (Reading Habit and dependent variable (Innovative Competency), explaining 'The Reason Why Employees Should Read More Books' and 'How Organizations Promote the Reading Habits of Employees'. Conclusions: It is clear that with reading habits among employees, innovation is easily achieved since these employees know their goals, how to achieve these objectives and overcome any challenge that might hinder innovation. Organizational management should work towards fostering positive reading cultures among employees in organizations.

Objectives : Floating acupuncture (FA) is a kind of newly developed acupuncture technique that contains its own apparatus. The technique has unique points that the body of the acupuncture needle stays intradermal space and manipulation is performed by shaking the needle horizontally; after manipulation, part of the needle remained in the intradermal space for 2~3 days. FA is not a common acupuncture methodology while various clinical study claims its efficacy on musculoskeletal disorders. In this study, the authors aimed to enhance the use of FA by comparing related theories. Methods : The authors reviewed classics, books, and articles related to FA, Meridian Muscle (MM), Myofascial Pain Syndrome (MPS), and Wrist-Ankle Acupuncture (WAA), and compared its characteristics by related theory, related symptoms, apparatus, and performing procedures. Results : FA was related and had various common parts with MM, MPS, and WAA, however, there were unique parts in the manipulation, apparatus, and stimulation location. FA is based on MM and MPS which pointing 'ashi points' or 'trigger points' as a treating target while FA does not stimulate the points directly. FA also targets subcutaneous space by inserting the needle horizontally as WAA does, while FA remains the needle handle part in the subcutaneous area for 2~3 days for more stimulation. Conclusions : FA has a unique manipulation procedure and potential benefit for musculoskeletal disorders despite the crude theological base written by Fu himself. Thus, developing a new explanation and patient-friendly methodology/apparatus is required for further down-to-earth studies.
Traditional Medicine (TM) is called as philosophical medicine in Korea. An unified theory named as Sihnsang-hanron (SSHR) was hypothesized through studies of scientific analyses on various theories of TM. SSHR has extracted seven concepts which are six common ones from the great three books (三大原典) and the Logic of Laotzu & Chuangtzu (老莊思想). Six common concepts are the affecting by cold (傷寒), qi (氣), cold or heat (寒熱), exterior & interior of body (表裏), deficiency or excessiveness (虛實), and yin & yang (陰陽). We have tried to apply these seven concepts to Physics and Life Science. The affecting by cold means anti-sunlight and the origin of all diseases. The difference between TM and modern medical science would be in diagnostic methods as well as their theoretical analyses for various diseases. The modern science follows Haeckel's positive dialectics applied by the biological monism, and oriental one(SSHR) does Yin-Yang monism from the studies of Logic of Laotzu (老子) & Chuangtzu (莊子). SSHR would make the theory of exterior & interior of body (表裏論) and six channels (六經) develope scientifically as a diagnostic technique of disease. This theory is an excellent one that can't be found out in modern medical science, and so it should be developed as a scientific theory by using modern mechanic instrument. Chuangtzu asserted that ai was the basic substance of the universe. It is hypothesized that qi (氣) is like small particles -higgs, with dynamic power in modern Physics. We consider cautiously qi could be calculated by mathematics through higgs' bosons in near future.
With the spread of electronic commerce on the Internet, comparison shopping sites with agent technique are getting popular for the best shopping. However, most consumers are still spending much time to search for the best price through the sites because each of them may show a different price even for the same goods or a site does not show any information about specific goods. Additionally, the search for the best price of the goods like books and CDs may cause the system to be overloaded and the response time to be long due to an on-line real-time search. In this paper, we have designed and implemented a meta-search system for comparison shopping sites with a local database and memory cache to resolve the above problems. The proposed system collects and maintains the price information of popular goods among the comparison shopping sites using several software agents. The experimental results show that our system is an efficient meta-comparison shopping engine and reduces the latency of the response time with little overhead.
Recently, because of the danger and damages that following the steady development of scientific technologies, natural science is faced with many humane and ethical problems. So it is asserted the interdisciplinary with social and human science. However, it comes commonly that the ethical issues such as world view and one's view of life caused the development of sociology, especially development of the market economy. But in many cases, the interdisciplinary can be useful for widen the view of scholars. The interdisciplinary is actually connected with the problems of philosophy, and located in that domain. In this case, this is noticed as a model to the philosophers in 18th century, especially Denis Diderot. Diderot published De $l^{\prime}interpr{\acute{e}}tation$ de la nature during editing the Encyclopedia, from there he picked out the contents from piles of documents of Encyclopedia. Even though the contents or opinions of De $l^{\prime}interpr{\acute{e}}tation$ de la nature are inaccuracy or erroneous, it shows that how human-social science and natural science encountered. Diderot studied mathematics and then Diderot accepted to the natural science proposal, he approaches philosophy with translate English books to the French. Next he understood natural science by reading Buffon and Maupertuis, and during working for Encyclopedia, he possessed his knowledge that he can claim his opinion to other scholars. However in this De $l^{\prime}interpr{\acute{e}}tation$ de la nature, Diderot who sometimes rebutted other scholars' theory and demonstration, tried to build a philosophy on metaphysics in order to it was important for himself that he imposed the methods of science and importance of experience. Anyhow, this De $l^{\prime}interpr{\acute{e}}tation$ de la nature cause consider the recognition of Diderot in the field of natural science, and is suggested as a model about his Nature. This mean that it is an expression of his philosophy, and the content is found from natural philosophy and empirical philosophy. Like giving these attache the importance of method study for science and technique, these are targeted the promotion of popularization of natural-science and scientific-technology. Also it advocates fulfilling from reasonable philosophy to empirical philosophy. Therefore, the philosophy which was speculative and abstracted became his philosophy which was writing the meaning, as waiting the discovery of science. And at that time, the humanities made interdisciplinary with natural science.
This study aimed to demonstrate that photographic reading can be used to decipher epigraphs more effectively and accurately than conventional rubbing of epigraphy. When using the rubbing technique, the reading rate varies for the each epigraph depending on the time, person, and rubbing method. Thus, we compared the results of conventional rubbing to photographic reading focusing on unread and misread letters. According to the results, some letters were different from those in the reference books, and some letters that could have been readable via photographic reading were misread or read as different letters. In its undamaged state, the Pyeongwangtapbi Monument of Seonggak Daesa is supposed to contain a total of 2,049 letters, and 1,763 of them have been deciphered. This study corrected a total of 308 letters that had not been deciphered or deciphered inconsistently in existing literatures. However, it should be noted that the epigraphs of the Pyeongwangtapbi Monument of Seonggak Daesa read using the rubbing technique were made at least 30-100 years ago, and the photographic reading was performed in 2010. Thus, the overall condition is not perfectly identical. If we read and compare in the same condition, we may obtain even more reliable results. Therefore, based on this study of photographic reading, further studies regarding the correction of the contents of epigraphy should be performed.
The significant reason for studying computer science lies in the efficient resolution of various problems which can arise in actual life. Consequently, algorithm education is very important in the computer science and plays a great part in helping to enhance the creative ability to solve problems and to improve the programming ability. However, the current algorithm education at an computer science educational institute for the gifted has inadequate systematic quality and is only treated as a part of programming education. From this perspective, this paper carried out following studies in order to design the algorithm education for elementary computer science prodigies. First, the core educational contents was selected by extracting the common elements from existing books related to algorithm education, common study contents on algorithm lesson websites and the study area of ACM's computer algorithm. Second, using the development criteria and selected educational contents, the educational theme for the If weeks load was set. Additionally, the algorithm educational contents were designed for the elementary computer science prodigy based on such theme. Third, the activity site for the use of prodigy educational institute was developed with the background in the educational contents for the elementary computer science prodigy. Fourth, the Delphi analysis technique was used to verify the appropriateness of contents and activity site developed in this paper. It was carried out in 2 separate processes where the first process verified the design of educational contents, and the second process verified the appropriateness of developed activity site.
The purpose of this study is to offer basic data on sex education for middle and high school students through content analysis of sex education subjects. The objects of this study were sex related subjects in the 7th grade curriculum and sex education guide books. The results were as follows: According to the results of analyzing sex education topics classified by grade, the 7th grade accounted for 35.2% of total topics, the 8th grade 2.9%, the 9th grade 2.9%, and the 10th grade 32.3%, the result of analyzing sex education topics classified by subject, showed 76.4% of total topics in sex education guide book, 29.4% were technique and domestic subjects, 20.5% were physical subjects, 17.6% were moral subjects, 8.8% were science subjects, 2.9% were society subjects. The domains which were chiefly concerned in sex education curricula for middle school students were "Human Development", "Relationship", and "Sexual Health". On the other hand, the domains which were mainly concerned with sex education curricula for high school students were "Relationship", "Sexual Behavior" and "Sexual Health". Most sex education subjects provided less instruction concerning "Personal Skills" and "Sexual Behavior" than other domains. The suggestion according to the results were as follows: It is desirable to teach sex education as an integrated subject. Especially, sex education should be a part of a comprehensive school health education program. Because this study focused on analyzing materials for teachers, further research is recommended to analyze sex education materials for students.

This study was conducted to assess need for education on the infection control by examining the knowledge on infection control in home care of the home care trainees who had completed an infection control course. Using 64 items questionnaire. home care trainees of eight home care education institutions who took classes related with infection control. The level of knowledge evaluated subjectively was 4.24point (full mark: 5 point). The correct answer rates for handwashing and gloving. cleaning patients' rooms. preventing sharp injury, preventing exposure to potential infectious agents, home care bag technique were 84.5% 86.4% 70.7% 65.3% 76.2% representatively. For the knowledge on the infection control principles to prevent catheter related infection, indwelling catheter related infection, tracheal tube related pneumonia. L-tube related infection, oxygen therapy related infection. and wound infection were 62.8% 27.8% 39.1% 87.8% 76.5% 80.5% representatively. The correct answer rates varied depending upon the educational institutes (p< = .0001), educational levels (p= .001), workplaces (p<.0001), and the experience of infection control education (p= .001). Considering these results. a standardized curriculum must be developed and implemented after analyzing the existing infection control curricula of the home care education institutes. and guide books for infection control in home care should be developed and distributed. In addition. continuous infection control education be provided to the home care nurses through reeducation so they can acquire new knowledge needed for carrying out infection control activities effectively.
