  • The practice turn in the science education community emphasizes students' engagement in the activities that scientists and engineers actually do when they see, explain, and critique a phenomenon, or solve a problem. This turn highlights the importance of science learning environments for students. Consequently, the purpose of this study was the examination of relevant literature with the aim of proposing theoretically and empirically derived teaching strategies for students' productive disciplinary engagement (PDE) through model-based learning (MBL) in science classrooms. To this end, collected literature focusing on PDE and MBL was analyzed to better understand 1) how teachers can foster students' PDE in science classrooms, 2) how PDE can be connected to MBL, and 3) what supports are required for students' PDE through MBL. As a result of our analysis, a close relationship between PDE and MBL was identified. Importantly, this research reveals the promise of MBL for supporting students' PDE through the problematizing, authority, accountability, and resources. Further, our literature examination provided a better understanding of what supports are required for students' engagement in PDE through MBL and why this matters in the context of the practice turn in science education.

  • Purpose: In the past decade, Scholars, think tanks, and policymakers have had rich discussions about omnichannel distribution science. However, despite the growing body of research in this area, there is currently no universally accepted definition of what exactly an "omnichannel consumer" consists of and what the most relevant drivers are. This study aims to synthesize the empirical evidence surrounding omni-channel consumer research and its management. Additionally, we demonstrate how omnichannel consumer research has emerged from different theoretical perspectives and disciplines. Research design, data and methodology: Using the Systematic Literature Review method and searching the CNKI, Web of Science, and Scopus databases for 130 articles, the study analyzed the current state of omnichannel consumer research and categorized and summarized the findings in the literature. Results: This study analyzes the current state of omnichannel consumer research and categorizes the findings in the literature and identifies four research areas: consumer behavior, consumer experience, consumer sentiment dimensions, and consumer segmentation. Conclusions: This literature review offers the first comprehensive and systematic overview of "Chinese omnichannel consumers." It not only highlights the most critical research trends discussed in existing studies, but also outlines the expected direction of future research, which provides the basis for understanding omnichannel consumer research.

  • The purpose of this study has its meaning to indicate the direction on collection and preservation of national literature which is one of the must important functions of the Central National Library. The Central National Library is, however, a representative library of our country and collect every kind of literature and to meet the requests of its users, the present situation of The Central National Library can't be performed sufficiently on these actions. According to studies of this paper, it have suggested the following five methods as a method of collecting national literature. First, the method by registering copyright endowing the number of copyright like ISBN. Second, the method a n.0, pplied by revising and su n.0, pplementing present legal deposit system. Thirdly, the method that the central one institution secure national budget collect literature of nation i.e., central intensive collection one. Fouthly , method of collecting literature by partial charge through local library networks. Fifthly, method by subject intensive collecting. As the preserving method of national literature, this research has indicated the following two ways. First, to keep the literatures forever, the method of The Central National Library keeps records as a limited volume. Second, The method of dispersing records as the local libraries. To put these methods into practice, it must be preceded that not only national helps, budget secures are needed but special committee must be organized to keep and preserve national literatures and material range also be extended and bibliographies for information data issuing must be worked out.

  • This study is to present improvement plans by examining how Korean literature house websites provide information services. Seventy-nine Korean literature houses out of eighty-eight members of the Korean Literature House Association were studied, except nine that did not construct websites. Three core elements, including website style, literary works information and writer information, together with thirteen sub-elements, were derived from precedent studies. As a result, it was found that 90% of the literature houses were operating websites, but the classification criteria for the literary works and cataloguing rules were not unified, and literature information was not provided sufficiently. Thus, this study suggested improvement plans such as support to build a website, developing cataloging guidelines for literature houses, providing more full-text literature and providing information about literary works and writer.

  • The two fields, economics of art and literature, tend to be put together as part of cultural economic studies; yet the former has been widely popular as compared to the latter. Economics of art has been known as part of social science which studies art economically. Similarly, economics of literature is likely to be an interdisciplinary study of literature and economics. Literature is suggested usually to reflect the economic base of a society as a form of its superstructure in view of classical Marxism; so, it is interesting to see social, economic activities, such as individual values and social institutions, income, price and opportunity cost, in a particular way of analyzing economic ideas in literature. Capital seems to have an innate property of self-expansion in literature; this property thus features actual economic life since in capitalism money is the universal value between persons and literary works. Specifically, the field of economics of literature starts with such ideas: economics of literature is part of cultural economics; and economics of literature deals with the economic value of literature. Putting interdisciplinary fields of literature and economics together, this study is to examine the economic value of literature in which Karl Marx talked about commodities with exchange value, use value, and fetishism. The exchange value is commercial worth, the actual exchange value of a publication; yet, the use value is innate worth, the aesthetic use value of literature. With commodity fetishism, profit seems not as the outcome of a social relation, but of a work- "reification" as the would-be Marxists suggest. As a commodity, the literary work appears to be able to animate life and power in reality. As a result, this paper asserts that social, economical activities in literature as we may apply to the study of economics of literature increase its economic value, implying commercial and innate worth, as the capital in the marketplace.

  • During the last three decades, earth science has been re-conceptualized as an interdisciplinary discipline entitled Earth System Science (ESS), which is based on knowledge of the physical earth system and human impact on the earth. While there is increasing effort to teach earth as a system in K-12 education, teachers' preparedness of to teach earth system is still in its infancy. This article focuses on reviewing the literature of teachers' knowledge of earth systems and of how teachers' knowledge of subject matter affects their teaching practice and pedagogical content knowledge (PCK). First, the study investigated a literature of PCK in general as well as in science teaching. Then this study duscuss what teachers' subject matter knowledge (SMK) is and what it means to be in teaching earth system science. Third, a literature of teachers' knowledge of earth system was reviewed. Finally, a number of suggestions and implications are made as to what teacher education program should do to better prepare future teachers to teach earth systems.
