The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of family violence, peer\`s deviant behavior, school environment, and accessibility of violence through a mass media, mediated by school violence, on adolescents 'psychological & behavioral maladjustment. The present study was the primary research of developing program for adolescents'psychological & behavioral adaptation to school violence. On the basis of previous literature, the theoretical model was specified, estimated, and evaluated for adequacy of statistical fat. Subjects of this study consisted of 974 adolescents drawn from middle and high schools in Cheong-ju. The model was supported by the data. Family violence, peer's deviant behavior, school environment, and accessibility of violence through a mass media explained directly the variance of school violence and adolescents'psychological & behavioral maladjustment. The results shows that adolescents'psychological & behavioral maladjustment can be viewed as products of the interaction with environmental factors and school violence. Accessibility of violence through a mass media was strongly related to school violence. Also, school violence was the strongest risk factor in relation to adolescents'behavioral maladjustment while school environment to adolescents'psychological maladjustment. Therefore, prevention program for school violence should consider the psychological & behavioral components within the environmental context.

The contents of this study are as follow. 1) Develop the practical problem-based instruction using multiple intelligence and teaching and learning strategies for each protective factor both in teaching method aspects and learning content aspects during the 29-period of lesson plans. 2) Examine the effects of the instruction in the changes of pre- and post- impulsivity and aggression, self-esteem, empathy and attitudes to school violence after implementing home economics lesson plans. 3) Evaluate the instruction. The subjects of this study were 288 first grade students (124 male and 164 female students). The study utilizes a quasi-experimental pre-post design. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of a school bullying prevention camp for adolescent perpetrators of school violence. Methods: A total of 95 adolescents (boys=73, girls=22) were included in this study. The changes after the program were evaluated using several self-rating scales for the assessment of the degree of depression, loneliness, impulsivity, self-esteem, and interpersonal reactivity compared with the baseline scales. Results: The school bullying prevention camp significantly reduced the degree of depression severity (z=-5.874, p<0.001) and impulsivity scale (z=-3.861, p<0.001), while increasing self-esteem (z=-2.091, p=0.037). The degree of depression severity (z=-4.635, p<0.001), loneliness (z=-2.168, p=0.030), and impulsivity (z=-2.987, p=0.003) significantly reduced, whereas self-esteem significantly increased (z=-2.221, p=0.026) for male students who had no history of child abuse. However, there were no significant changes after the program for the degree of depression, loneliness, impulsivity, self-esteem, and interpersonal reactivity among female students with a history of child abuse. Conclusion: The results of our study suggest that the development of diverse standardized guidance programs is necessary for teenagers with different characteristics and backgrounds. Such programs are expected to be more effective in preventing school violence.
School violence that have occurred recently, showing a tendency to collectivization and diverse types of violence, as well as the quality and increase the damage levels. School violence in the home, school, and social factors, but is caused by the lack of awareness about the violence and the reporting of consciousness due to poor acts of violence indirectly assisted. The only place violence has caused the school to establish the legal and institutional arrangements in order to minimize school violence have no choice but to limit its effectiveness is negligible. The problem of school violence in connection with the problem of juvenile crime prevention and control, and punishment should be made of the complex and layered. Operation and School police system, School safety keeper system, school sheriff system since 2005, each municipality in order to minimize school violence, but have no practical help to limit the visible and symbolic effects. Nonexistent professional staff of the institution or school safety monitors emphasis on monitoring the physical state of the system in the form of 'guards' departure inherently have limitations. Also, to prevent criminal acts or violence in the state is not given special privileges and the appropriate role for the school keeper is a problem with the system. Report no other role can not be expected. Should therefore be preceded by a systematic improvement and training of experts in order to prevent school violence, and home and school, in terms of social support and measures.

The purpose of this study was to develop a teaching-learning plan applicable to high school technology·home economics and home science classes in order to prevent adolescents' dating violence which is one of the serious social problems we are facing lately. This research has following three steps: 1. Analyzing contents and selecting content elements, 2. Developing teaching-learning materials, and 3. Performing a pilot test and making corrections. In the first step, this author analyzes how the contents associated with dating violence are presented in the 2015 curriculum of technology·home economics and the textbooks and reviews related literatures to select content elements necessary to prevent dating violence for those going through adolescence. Based on that, in the second step, this researcher develops a teaching-learning plan for six lessons and then makes it verified by two experienced teachers of home economics. In the last step, the teaching-learning plan for six sessions developed is implemented to two high school classes, and then, based on the results of examining the opinions of the teachers implementing the plan and students about the class, this researcher modifies and complements the parts of the plan showing low applicability to the field and develops the final dating violence prevention teaching-learning plan. In order to prevent adolescents' dating violence, it is necessary to create a social environment safe from violence and provide violence prevention education before they begin to have relationship. This researcher expects that this teaching-learning plan is applied in home economics class and it can contribute to enhancing students' sensitivity about violence and improving their competencies to make wise judgments in problematic situations and cope with them properly.
Purpose: Clinical nurses are at high risk of incurring hospital violence during their working life. Hospital violence and its outcomes have an impact on the job satisfaction, the recruitment and retention of nurses as well as the quality of care delivered to patients. The purpose of this study was to identify coping styles toward hospital violence in clinical nurses using Q-methodology. Methods: Q-methodology, which analyzes the subjectivity of each type of attitude, and coping styles was used. The 40 selected Q-statements from each of 35 participants were classified into the shape of a normal distribution using a 9-point scale. The collected data were analyzed using the pc-QUANAL program. Results: The results revealed four discrete groups of clinical nurses toward hospital violence: take strong action and promote the recurrence prevention, appear psychosomatic symptoms, investigate the cause and focus on prevention, and request hospital assistance and keep up my duty. Conclusion: The findings indicate that development of nursing intervention program based on the four types could beneficially contribute to the violence prevention in hospital.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare the factors related to violence victimization between multicultural and Korean-origin adolescents. Methods: This study used the data of the 2017 Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-Based Survey. A total of 54,748 multicultral and Korean-origin adolescents were included in the analysis. Weighted percentage and means were used to describe the sample. Simple and multiple logistic regressions were conducted using SAS 9.2. Results: The multicultural adolescents experienced more violence victimization than Korean-origin adolescents. In both groups, middle school students, habitual drug users, and those not living with their family showed a greater risk of becoming a victim of violence. In Korean-origin adolescents, while girls and those with mid-level family economic status showed a lower risk, those who had experienced sadness or despair, suicidal ideation, smoking and problematic drinking showed a higher risk of becoming a violence victim. In multicultural adolescents, those with a lower subjective health status and a lower stress level had a higher risk of violence victimization. Conclusion: Results of this study suggest that the factors significantly related to violence victimization differ between multicultural and Korean-origin adolescents. Therefore, different approaches are required for the prevention and management of violence victimization in different populations.

The statistical methods used were descriptive statistics, x2-test, t-test, Pearson's correlation coefficient and binary logistic regression analysis. Results: As a result of the study, the experience of sexual behavior before entering college (𝑥2=6.52, p=.011), experience of sexual violence damage before entering college(p=.045), the experience of sexual assault before entering college (p=.007) and experience of school violence damage(p=.002) were variables related to the sexual violence experience of college students.
