Towards Game-Theoretic Negotiation for Traffic Light Control on Connected Cars: Preliminary Study (커넥티드 자동차의 교통신호 제어를 위한 게임이론 기반 협상전략 수립: 선행연구)

  • In this study, we take into account in improving traffic flow in real-time problem. In order to solve the problem, we propose a new approach to manage traffic flow at the intersection in real-time via controlling by traffic light scheduling. In particular, the proposed method is based on process synchronization theory and connected vehicle technology where each vehicle is able to communicate with others. The traffic deadlock is also taken into consideration in case of high traffic volume. The simulation shows the potential results comparing with the existing traffic management system.

  • 방송환경은 서버에서 이동 클라이언트로의 대역폭보다 이동 클라이언트에서 서버로의 대역폭이 상당히 좁은 비대칭 구조이다. 이러한 방송환경을 기반으로 하는 이동 컴퓨팅 응용 시스템은 제한된 대역폭의 효율성과 거래의 수행성능을 향상시키기 위한 비용 효과적인 방법이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 방송환경에서 이동 클라이언트의 갱신연산이 가능한 경우에 데이터의 현재성과 상호일관성을 만족하기 위한 효율적인 거래 스케줄링 알고리즘을 소개하고 시뮬레이션을 통하여 기존에 제안된 기법과 비친 분석함으로써 제안하는 알고리즘의 우수성을 확인한다.

  • We present the implementation of a Lagrangian Relaxation based large scale thermal Unit Commitment problem. The problem is decomposed into thermal subproblem by using Lagrangian multipliers. The thermal subproblem is solved by using dynamic programmmg. we perform a numerical test using the thermal system of KEPCO over a week (168 hours) period. The programming language used for the test program is C. The result is compared with the priority list method.

  • 스마트폰의 활용 범위가 점점 확장됨에 따라 데이터 통신량도 증가되어 가고 있으며, 데이터 유출을 방지하기 위해 다양한 암 복호화 알고리즘을 필요로 하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 비대칭 알고리즘과 대칭 알고리즘을 이용한 하이브리드 암 복호화 기반 데이터 교환방법을 제안한다. 비대칭 알고리즘은 RSA방법을 사용하여 상호간에 대칭키의 절반인 반키(Half Key)를 교환할 수 있도록 하였으며, 대칭 알고리즘은 AES를 사용하여 데이터를 암 복호화 할 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 기존의 AES 알고리즘의 S-Box와 키 스케쥴링 과정을 변형하여 무차별 대입 공격에 대해 방어할 수 있도록 하였다. 그 결과 기존의 비대칭 또는 대칭 알고리즘을 단독으로 사용하는 방법보다 안전하고 빠른 보안수준을 보장할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 IIoT 환경에서 중요한 비정상적 데이터 수집을 위한 노드 우선순위 선정 모델을 제안하였다. 제안하는 모델은 비정상적 데이터 수집과 다른 노드로 부터의 정상 데이터의 수집 격차를 적절히 조절하기 위하여 Fair and Delay-aware Cross-layer(FDRX) 기법과 데이터 Classification 기법을 이용, 데이터의 긴급성과 네트워크 환경을 분석하여 노드를 평가한다. 이를 통하여 IIoT 환경에서의 데이터 분석에 중요한 비정상적 데이터를 원활하게 수집하면서도 다른 노드와의 전송 격차를 줄일 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • In case of high-tech process industries such as semiconductor and TFT-LCD manufactures, fault of a virtually finished product that is value-added one, since it has gone throughout the most of processes, may give rise to quality cost nearly amount to its selling price and can be a main cause that decreases the efficiency of manufacturing process. This paper proposes a real-time dispatching algorithm for semiconductor manufacturing process with rework. In order to evaluate the proposed algorithm, this paper examines the performance of the proposed method by comparing it with that of the existing dispatching algorithms, based on various experimental data.

  • A synthesis of fuzzy variable structure control is proposed to design a high-angle-of-attack flight system for a modification version of the F-18 aircraft. The knowledge of the proportional, integral, and derivative control is combined into the fuzzy control that addresses both the highly nonlinear aerodynamic characteristics of elevators and the control limit of thrust vectoring nozzles. A simple gain scheduling method with multi-layered fuzzy rules is adopted to obtain an appropriate blend of elevator and thrust vectoring commands in the wide operating range. Improving the computational efficiency, an accelerated kernel for on-line fuzzy reasoning is also proposed. The resulting control system achieves the good flying quantities during a high-angle-of- attack excursion. Thus the fuzzy logic can afford the control engineer a flexible means of deriving effective control laws in the nonlinear flight regime.

  • It is essential to construct an efficient material flow system for the successful introduction of automated manufacturing systems. Automated Guided Vehicle System (AGVS) plays a significant role more and more in modern manufacturing environments, because of the flexibility and the precision they offer. However, as the size and the complexity of systems increase, the problems of dispatching, routing and scheduling of AGVs become complicated due to their independent and asynchronous demands. In this paper, we review relevant papers, and provide a new and more efficient method for dispatching AGV, named MEVTT (Minimum Empty Vehicle Travel Time) and demonstrate its performance and efficiency using simulation.

Combined Opportunistic Beamforming Methodology

  • A combined opportunistic multiple beamforming method is presented that the first beam is designed with an aid of channel state information using uplink mid-amble and other beams are orthogonally generated to the first beam sequentially. The power allocation with SINR feedback increases overall throughput for the decentralized systems. The advantages of the proposed scheme is that the first beam is not interfered by other beams guaranteeing quality of service (QoS) and other orthogonal beams are operated opportunistically to obtain multi user diversity. The computer simulation demonstrates that the proposed scheme is effective at a small number of users, which is common in cellular systems, and outperforms conventional spatial division multiple access (SDMA) opportunistic beamforming methods.

  • In this paper, attitude computation algorithm for a strap down ARS(Attitude Reference System)of an underwater vehicle has been studied. Attitude errors o the ARS using low-level gyroscopes tend to increase with time due to gyroscope errors. To cope with this problem, a mixing algorithm of accelerometer aided attitude computation has been developed. The algorithm can successfully bound the error increase for cruising motion, but it gives instantaneously large errors when a vehicle maneuvers. To improve the performance in case of vehicle's maneuver, a new attitude computation mixing algorithm complying state of vehicle and to manage the adjustment of the gains which are invariant in the existing algorithm. In addition, a gain scheduling method is applied to fuzzy inference composition process for real-time computation. Monte Carlo simulation results show that the proposed algorithm provides better performance than the existing algorithm.
